Chapter 3. Visit to Xiao Muqing

"Wangfey! You okay, your majesty?" Gu Sinjie, out of nowhere suddenly appeared.

Huang Mingxiang nodded. "I'm fine."

Master Gu nodded back as well, but with a more relieved expression. "Thank God, Wangye is fine too. Tonight looks like the enemy is coming back to the surface, plus it's your wedding day. Make the enemies more intense."

Huang Mingxiang rounded his eyes. "Wangye was also attacked?"

Master Gu nodded. "Yes, your honor. Luckily Wangye had only a small cut on his left arm."

"Master Gu, can you take me to see Wangye now? I want to ascertain Wangye's condition with my own eyes." Huang Mingxiang made a plea, he was really worried. After which, the three of them immediately headed towards the main residence that was at Xiao Wangfu. While setting foot there, Huang Mingxiang was greatly shocked, as countless corpses of assassins lay on the streets.

"Although Wangye had a problem in her legs, it did not diminish her martial ability. This is what made the enemies agree to surround Wangye with many assassins to tear down his defenses" Gu Sinjie replied.

Huang Mingxiang nodded in understanding, then refocused his mind again with Xiao Muqing.

Gu Sinjie stood in front of the door of Xiao Muqing's room, then knocked on the door.

"Wangye, Wangfei came to visit you. He said he wanted to ascertain your condition directly." Gu Sinjie asked for permission first before letting Huang Mingxiang into Xiao Muqing's room. Huang Mingxiang was not offended at all regarding this, he was self-conscious, himself a new person forcefully married to Xiao Muqing.

"Yes." Yeah." That short one-word answer sounded extremely cold, making Huang Mingxiang's heart pound again quite quickly.

Gu Sinjie turned his body around, then said, "Wangfei, please come in. Su Mama, you stay outside."

Huang Mingxiang and Su Mama looked at each other, then nodded to give each other confidence.

Huang Mingxiang stepped in, as soon as Gu Sinjie opened the door for Huang Mingxiang . Now, Huang Mingxiang was already inside Xiao Muqing's room. Just a few meters away, he would see Xiao Muqing's figure.

Inside the room was not too bright, there was only a dim light from the candle.

"Mingxiang, greet the venerable Xiao Wangye."

Huang Mingxiang took a deep breath, trying to calm down and clear his mind. "What does Wangye want? Mingxiang will grant it, no matter what kind."

Xiao Muqing was seen turning his head towards the side of the empty bed that was beside him. "What else but 'it'? You can prove it here, lucky if you manage to conceive benwang."

Hearing Xiao Muqing's sharp sentence, Huang Mingxiang's ears felt hot. Does this guy underestimate him? This man seemed to really think of him as inferior because of the rumors.

Xiao Muqing who saw Huang Mingxiang speechless as he continued to look at him coldly smiled thinly, then said. "Forget that. Benwang just tested the truth of the rumor, apparently not. Benwang believes you're still a whole girl."

Huang Mingxiang frowned, astonished. But then he chose to ignore it, not to bother.

In the midst of his busyness, Huang Mingxiang wanted to ask something regarding Xiao Muqing.

"Young."

"Shut up."

"But I want to ask."

"Not allowed."

"It's not an external issue, but an internal one."

"What?"

Finally Xiao Muqing allowed himself to ask after two rejections. Huang Mingxiang could not help but grumble because of this, yet again he put aside his sense of regret.
