Wish You Know's
Chapter 18: The Memorable Cup of Coffee

.....☆♡☆.....

The speed of the motorbike driven by Dama is only 50km/h. The lonely road supports him to freely remember the past that is always imagined by him. Although his face was covered with a helmet and left only his eyes, anyone who saw would understand that in the look of the eye it signaled many wounds. One of the dreams that he knows when he will be able to realize with a wound in it. Rena's words instantly passed through her mind.

"If you choose to forgive, then you can make peace with the situation. But if you still persist in that pain, you'll never be able to heal."

Forgive me? Dama even forgot what the word sorry means. Let go of someone else's mistakes and forget them? Since when does an apology hurt so much to say? To him, that apology shouldn't even have been thrown out of his mouth, but by the person who had hurt him. Which had made his world shattered instantly. He is too busy to look into the past without knowing how to stop. He cannot imagine life in the future.

The pace of the Dama motorbike stopped at a coffee shop on the side of the road. Coffee shop closed on the door. Dama took off the helmet and stepped slowly towards the main door. Opening a locked door with a key that he always carries.

When you enter the room, everything is neat and clean. Like a place that is always cared for and cleaned every day. Only, the benches were laid out onto the table and never again occupied by a single customer since ten years ago.

The equipment in the cafe is also complete. Dama smiled knot. It was as if he could see the shadow of his Mama working in the cafe wholeheartedly. Even his warmth was still felt when he recalled that time.

Renata is busy making a capuccino behind the counter. Make every step in the coffee making so shrewd. Where there was a little Dama who was then seven years old was watching every motion of his mother by sitting on one of the chairs in front of the counter.

A cup of coffee in the shape of a tree is served on the table.

...

...

"Tree?"

Renata smiled at Dama's question.

"Yes. You know why you make tree art instead of heart or something?"

Dama shook his head slowly with his face that was still so innocent.

"Mama wants you to live like a tree. A sturdy tree stood up despite being hit by many problems. Even though your leaves fall because they get older or because of the wind, you actually grow new leaves that make your tree stronger standing. Even though one by one your tree branches will be cut down, it does not make you lose your spirit and it is even more sturdy standing than other trees. Even though you do not get water to survive, it does not make you then give up and prefer to die just like that. Even when the tree is eventually cut down which makes you no longer have a reason to stand, your wood can be beneficial to others. The world is a stage. Everyone plays a major role in their lives. No matter how many problems you face later, Mama wants you to be strong and be proud of Mama."

A tear fell on his shoe. It was the last day she and her mother were together. Those words seemed to be the last message before her mother left.

One day, he will definitely open the coffee shop business again. It was a promise to the mother who was gone.

.....☆♡☆.....

Rena is helping her mother cook for dinner.

"Mom... You know in front of the house there's a new occupant?"

"Look. He's young, isn't he? Maybe as you. Mom used to be called when I was dumping garbage in front."

"Yes. Name's Dama. She went to the same school as Rena and lived alone. So, can Rena give Dama a little dinner for Dama?"

"Bye, dong!"

Rena smiled broadly hearing that.

They cooked some vegetables and fried chicken. Mala gave him the box he had prepared.

"This. I have prepared for Dama," Mala said to Rena who just returned to deliver side dishes to the dining table.

"Thank you, Mom!"

"Yes. Judekah. Now we have dinner. You'll just take that box to Dama."

"Yes, Mom!"

.....☆♡☆.....

The doorbell of the house sounded. Immediately Dama went to the main door and opened the door.

"Rena?"

"Hi!"

"What's the night here?"

"Now!"

Dama received a box of supplies that was suddenly thrust into his chest.

"That's a little food from Mom. You haven't eaten, have you?"

"Thank you."

"Either. Oh, aye. Ken where?"

"There's in my room. He's sleeping with me continue."

"Oh, huh? Whoa! I want to meet Ken," said Rena who broke into the house.

Dama closes the door and follows Rena.

"Where's your room?"

"Upper floor."

Rena immediately climbed the stairs to the top floor. Dama put the food box on the table. Then followed Rena upstairs. But immediately his eyes turned back to remember something.

"Eh, Na! Wait up!" he said and immediately ran after Rena.

"This is lo's room?"

Be late. Rena opened the door and was about to enter. Soon Dama barges in. Putting clothes on the bed.

Rena seemed to not care about Dama who was suddenly busy cleaning the room. He was busy looking at every corner of the room. The most interesting thing is the collection of action figures that are quite a lot of glass dietalase display. Didn't know that Dama was part of the wibu. Because, most of the action figures are anime characters from Japan. There are transformers and the like. I don't know, Rena doesn't know her name. His gaze then found Ken who was sitting in a position of bread on the mattress.

"Yes my. This is my feeling or is Ken getting fat, anyway? The more puffed up tau no," said Rena anxious.

Dama put both of his hands in his pants pocket. Noticing Rena who still stroked Ken's fine fur until finally Ken who felt comfortable was closing both eyes.

"Gue always keeps Ken's diet. He also gave me vitamins. Yesterday I just brought Ken clinic for a complete vaccine injection."

"Why didn't you say? I can join you."

"No papa. Not that you have a music tutoring schedule yesterday afternoon. The clinic is not far away!"

"Lo until poultice, yes, same schedule my tutoring. I feel pretty busy."

Rena standing. Spreading his gaze to every corner of the room and to what he saw in his vision. One thing made him move to get closer.

Rena holds a book of recipes on the table.

"This what? You learn to cook?" ask Rena.

"No. That's Mama's recipe book."

"Lo chef?"

Dama nodded slowly.

"That's a coffee recipe book. My mom used to be a barista."

"Can I see?"

Dama nodded. Noticing Rena who opened sheet by sheet from the book.

"Well! It's not just a recipe... There's a lot of things listed and it's all about coffee."

Rena's right. In the book it was drawn manually and beside it was given an explanation that would be easy to understand. Starting from coffee, equipment, to how to make. The different types of coffee drinks are explained in great detail how they are made.

Until the end of the book sheet, Rena found a writing in the bottom right corner. 'For Dama'.

"Gue once promised Mama to reopen the business when Mama was not around. It's the only dream I really want to make" said Dama.

"Why don't you start now?"

"Gue's still in school, Na! How can I start a rich business."

"Why? I also like to make clothes that I finally try to sell in an online shop. Even though I don't know whether or not. I don't think I've tried" said Rena.

Dama was silent.

"If you want, I can help you" said Rena.

His fingers stroked an inscription that read 'For Dama'.

Dama was silent. Look closely at the face of the girl wearing the purple hoodie. Until the girl looked into her eyes and smiled like a crescent moon, her heart beat faster.
