Chapter 66. Vano is gone

The sun began to rise in the eastern horizon. The light entered through the window of the room in the middle opened by Winda who had just finished worship with Dimas.

His eyes look red and swollen from crying. He's so strong outside, in front of other people. He hides his grief.

Dimas hugged Winda from behind to give him strength. They are silent in their own minds. The sobbing sound of Winda began to sound and made Dimas embrace him even more tightly.

"Darling, cry as you please. I'll be here with you."

Winda turned around and hid his head in Dimas's arms. There was a sense of peace that Vinda felt, when Dimas embraced her.

"Darling, I'm not a perfect man. But I have love and loyalty. That's all I can offer you."

"Mas Dimas, why are you talking like that?"

"So, I don't feel confident. I've lost my confidence since seeing Bayu sacrifice for you. I don't feel comparable to him."

The day had changed, when Winda's parents came to their house. At home still looks lonely because the whole house is not at home. Only the auntie could see that opened the door and welcomed their arrival.

Suddenly Novi ran out screaming for Vano. Bibi immediately intercepts Novi's mother to find out what happened. Suddenly the look on my aunt's face turned anxious.

"What's up, auntie?"

"Mas Vano is gone, Mom, sir? Novi could not contact Mr. Dimas and Ms. Winda. How should we?" aunt said in panic.

"What?! We'll search around the house first. Don't panic yet" said Darma's father.

"alright. I'll help you find Vano and I'll call them. Hope you get connected soon."

Mr. Darma tried to contact Winda and Dimas' cell phone. But several times, the call is not connected. Vinda today did go to the suburbs where Maya kept Vani.

Maybe there's no signal.

Dimas' phone was connected but there was no answer.

Maybe Dimas is doing surgery.

Mr. Darma breathed heavily. He finally just sent a message. If they read it, they'll be home soon.

The search for Vano continues. They are very worried, Vani's events will repeat. But, isn't Bayu or Maya still in a coma in the hospital? They were the only prime candidates who hated the Dimas and Winda families.

After an hour, Dimas had arrived home with a panicked face. Dimas meets Darma and Bu Sari's father to experience him.

"Has Vano been found, Dad?"

"Yet. We've been looking around the house, but Vano hasn't been found yet."

Vano's face looked increasingly anxious and worried, Vani's events repeated again. Dimas and Winda can lose their way.

Dimas immediately checked CCTV and did not find Vano out of the house again after entering the house after returning from school. There was a sense of relief implied from Dimas' face.

"We focus on finding Vano in the house. Because after checking CCTV, there was no sign of Vano leaving the house" Dimas told the others.

Outside, Zaki's car stops and Winda gets out of the car and runs into the house screaming for Vano. Her heart was sliced and she had almost forgotten that she was currently pregnant.

Dimas saw Winda's panic, he immediately approached Winda and pulled him into his arms to calm him down.

"Darling..be calm."

"Vano, Vano mas ..."

"Calm down, we'll find it together first. From I'm checking the CCTV, he's not out. Then he's still in this house."

They rushed into Vano's room. Winda tries to see some of Vano's books that might be a clue to Vano's current whereabouts.
