36. Pregnant

Zakira was still in the bathroom, she stared at the pregnancy test kit with teary eyes. The woman did not expect God to finally send a little angel in her stomach. Unknowingly Zakira rubbed her flat stomach with a haru feeling. Soon she will become a mother, a responsibility that will increase.

Instead of feeling heavy, the woman felt so happy. All of this was a wish first. She couldn't wait to tell her husband and the in-laws waiting for her in her room. Zakira came out of the bathroom clasping the pregnancy test kit, everyone who was there automatically stared at the woman.

"How did it go, honey?" ask Calvin first.

Instead of answering her husband's question, Zakira cried. For some reason his mouth seemed muddled and could not say a single word. He felt so happy that he was confused to express how.

Seeing his wife crying, made Calvin unable to bear. The man thought if the result was negative until his wife was sad like that. Calvin was silent, he was still digesting what his wife was saying. His brain was still thinking hard, not expecting this to happen. Unknowingly, her tears also flowed. The man was happy with all this. Calvin took the pregnancy test in his wife's hand trembling. Finally he could see the line two that had been waiting for. The man immediately hugged his wife.

"Thank you, honey. Thank you for giving me such an amazing gift. I will try to be a good husband and father. Whatever you want, I'll try to fulfill it."

"It doesn't need to be like that, Mom. As long as you're always by my side, that's enough for me. There is nothing more precious in your existence" replied the wife who was still in his arms.

Zakira who realized that in her room there was also Mama Sekar also immediately parse his embrace. He felt very ashamed of the in-laws, he could have forgotten that in the room there was someone else. Mama Sekar has no problem with that. Instead, he was happy to see his son and daughter-in-law happy and loving each other.

"Are you happy with my pregnancy, Mom?"

"Of course happy, which man isn't happy if soon he's going to be a father."

"Do you want a boy or a girl?"

"Whatever God gives me, I will accept it. I'm so happy God sent an angel in the middle of our family. Whether it's a man or a woman the same, as long as he's healthy, his mother is also healthy."

"Amin, good luck until the birth, yes, Mas!"

"Amin, hopefully. We should pray a lot for the safety of both of you and also for the good of our household."

Zakira nodded and smiled in the arms of her husband. She is so happy to have a husband like Calvin. Although their household started off unkindly, but the man treated her very well.
