Calvin had just arrived home at night, the house looked so quiet. The man immediately went upstairs to his room. As soon as he entered the room, there was no one there. Even the bed looks neat. Calvin tried to find his wife in the bathroom. However, there was no one there.
When he saw the balcony, the door was open, he was sure that Zakira was there. Soon the man saw her and there was indeed the wife. Calvin immediately opened the suit and put it on Zakira's shoulders, leaving the woman a little surprised to not realize anyone had entered her room.
"The wind of the night is not good for health" Calvin scolded and stood beside his wife.
"It's okay, I'm also here for a while, I'm bored in the room so, want to see the situation around. Have you eaten? Let me prepare," said Zakira who also gave a question.
"No need, there's already an aunt who prepared everything, let me eat it later. There's something I want to talk about."
Suddenly Calvin's voice turned cold and the atmosphere suddenly turned serious. Zakira realized for sure what this husband said was very important. It might be about Nadin and his womb or about another woman who was in the man's heart. Various bad thoughts were present filling his head.
Zakira did not know what to do if her husband would leave her. Whether he realized it or not he had started to bond with the man. As a wife she is not willing if this marriage runs aground, but if combined even the woman is more unwilling.
Seeing his wife's composure, Calvin hesitated. Maybe he should tell the truth. However, the man couldn't possibly have kept all of this next. Calvin took a deep breath, He decided he would tell the truth, whether Zakira would respond or not.
"I don't know what kind of marriage you want. I just want to say, in my heart I just want to be yours now, later and beyond."
Zakira turned her head with a frown between sure and not with what she heard. The woman was very surprised, whether the husband really said that or just a joke.
"Ma–what do you mean? I don't understand at all."
Calvin faced his wife. He also confronts Zakira's body to look at her and places both hands on each side of her arms. Their eyes looked at each other, their hearts beating faster. However, as much as possible they cover it either because of prestige or because of other things.
"I don't know what kind of marriage you want, we did marry for an arranged marriage, but deep down in my heart, I've started to get comfortable with this bond. I also never intended to play a wedding. I wish our marriage could last forever. I want to spend my old days with you, live happily with children and raise them lovingly. I don't know why lately I've been imagining things like that and I want to make it happen" Calvin said with a smile. However, his eyes were glazed.
The man was very hopeful with a future like his wish. If only he could manage the future, it would have been assembled as beautifully as possible.
"Mas, do you really want that? Not because of circumstances or compulsion, is it?" Zakira wanted to make sure of what she heard.
He doesn't want to make the wrong decision. In her heart she was happy because she was expecting as her husband had said. The shadow of a beautiful future is in sight, Zakira hopes it will become a reality not just a pseudo-shadow. Calvin understands the wife's doubts, considering how their marriage came to be.
"I told you the truth. What I feel is not a lie, but I will not force you to accept it. You're free to make a choice whether you accept me or not."
Calvin's shirt felt wet with Zakira's tears. However, the man did not mind at all. The question now is whether his wife is happy or not. There were no words spoken from his lips yet and he could only wait until it was calm. Until finally the woman unraveled her embrace and looked at the husband's face.
"I also want children, just like you want, Mas. I want our household to be happy until the end of age. I also want to build a happy household with you."
"really? So you love me too? Then my love doesn't clap one hand?" asked Calvin with a glowing face.
Zakira just nodded in response. Calvin hugged his wife again, this time even stronger. He did that because he wanted to vent his feelings so happy, that he did not realize that his wife was in pain.
"Mas, don't hold her too tight" said Zakira slowly, which made Calvin immediately break his embrace.
"Sorry, sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you. I was just too happy." Calvin seemed to feel guilty about what he had done.
Zakira smiled and said, "I understand, Mas. I'm also happy because I can finally be with you forever."
The two smiled, not expecting happiness to finally come into their lives. May this happiness be eternal until old age even to death. Suddenly the smile on Zakira's face receded, she remembered the woman named Nadin. Zakira immediately asked her husband.
"How about Nadin? She's pregnant with your child."
"Don't think too much about it, the one in the womb isn't my son."
"Why did Nadin say that?" Zakira frowned because she did not understand.
"Maybe he's delirious. You know for yourself that I haven't seen him in five years. How did Nadin get pregnant with my son? That doesn't make much sense. The b*d*h man alone must have been very understanding."
"Why have you been quiet all this time? Why not fight it?"
"Nadin is a woman after all, I don't want to defame her good name. Let him say nothing of me, and if he is tired he will stop himself. The more we respond, the more he'll run."
