Regina was petrified when she received a message from Rafi. He sent a letter of evidence of his firing where he worked. Gian said he would sort things out with Rafi. But it never occurred to him that he would do something like this.

For almost 2 weeks, there were no more flower deliveries to Regina's office. He also never heard from Rafi after that. This is the first time Rafi has reappeared. Sending a message about his dismissal.

Regina closed her phone, resumed dinner again but her mind became tangled. He looked at Gian sitting in front of him, eating quietly.

“Gi, do you have any relationship with Indo Arcon company?”

Gian stopped his hand scooping the food. Then look at Regina.

“I'm an investor in that company. Just signed the MoU last week. Why?” Gian said calmly, then smiled. “You want to talk about your ex?” Further again. Regina did not like the reaction Gian gave, she looked disdainful.

“You got him fired from his job? So this is what it means when you say you want to solve the same problem with Rafi? Make him lose his job?” Regina really has a hard time believing it. All this time he thought Gian was a good person, who would not do these kinds of things to overcome his problems. He sacrifices others, makes them lose their jobs just to keep them quiet.

“Although why?”

“Why did you say? Gi, Rafi ain't doing no shit. Don't need to be this far.”

“Ga does evil things? So you don't think that stalking is a bad thing? Do you want to watch and give flowers every day? Feels like a fan, is that it?” Gian was upset. Why Regina didn't understand what kind of danger that person could do.

“Regi Denger, yesterday she just love flowers and stalking you, tomorrow she can just go into the house and do evil with you. You don't understand that he's obsessed with you? He left his wife, returned to Indonesia to follow your life, and beg you to come back with you again. That's what you said you didn't do evil?”

Gian really lost his patience this time. Somehow Regina could think that her ex was not wrong.

“He couldn't have done that far, Gi. I know him a long time.”

Regina locked her mouth. He hates being reminded of Alex. Rafi's not Alex. He's his best friend, his girlfriend for years and he's never done anything bad to him like Alex. Gian could not understand how his relationship with Rafi, although some of him hated the man for leaving him, but Rafi was not someone who could do reckless.

“Kanya until I frothy clear to you though, you will not want to understand what I am concerned about. Because you always sympathized with your ex, right? You really want to be the same?”

“I don't think rich that.”

“Lying! If you think he's not evil. Please come back with him. Part of our contract does not forbid you to date again with him kok.”

“I have no intention of dating her again, Gi. Why is the problem going there anyway? I'm just questioning your actions that led Rafi to be fired from her job! It's doang!” Regina is deeply hurt by Gian's accusations. His heart is only for Gian. He could not hold back his crying.

“Terus how do you think I should be rich? If you have any other way to let him shut up and leave, please do. But you can't do it, Re? In the end you will always side with him.” Gian said his feelings were really upset when Regina always defended her ex. “If you really know him and think he won't do anything evil with you, okay. Gian got up from his seat. Nothing else could be done to convince Regina of her concerns about Rafi.

“Tell him, tell him to go to a company that is not working with Gavels.” Then walk away from the kitchen. Leaving Regina with mixed feelings.

A moment ago Regina felt confident that Gian's act of using his power to get rid of Rafi by getting her fired from the job was wrong. But now he feels very hurt because Gian says he will no longer care about his safety. Regina believes that until now Rafi is not a bad person, and will not do evil to her. But it's hard to convince Gian of that.

After his fight with Regina that night. Gian pulled himself out of things related to Regina. He continued his habit of overtime at the office until he came home late at night. Regina waited every day for dinner. Feel Gian's food and wait for him. Despite waiting for hours, Gian did not return home. He ate by himself and rolled around crying in his room.

There were no more absurd things that Gian worked for Regina. He stopped brewing hot chocolate in the morning for her before breakfast. He stopped checking Regina's old car every morning before leaving for work to avoid breaking down. He stopped paying attention to Regina. They also rarely talk.

Gian takes advantage of his quarrels and cold war action with Regina to reset his life, with nothing to disturb. Some business trips out of town add time for him to regain control, trying to eliminate Regina from his mind. He realized the girl had forcefully taken over all of his attention these few months. It keeps her feeling worried and needs to protect her. But it turns out Regina's heart never considers all her attention is something that needs to be appreciated. He instead stubbornly defended his ex who was so obsessed with him.
