Chapter 23

Arriving at the father's house, Riana is shocked not to find her father. The door was open and no one was there. He tried to ask the neighbors, but no one knew. Riana began to fidget, Rendra who saw his anxious wife directly embrace her shoulder.

“Calm down baby, Dad will definitely be fine,” Riana nodded. He bit his fingernails as he felt anxiety. Not long after, Budi also came with a very pale face.

“Daddy ..” Riana immediately approached him, embracing and getting her father into the house.

“Dad is okay, Dad is used to it baby. Son Rendra, sit down! Don't stand there constantly, here close to Father,” Rendra obeyed his father-in-law's edict, but before that he put Salsa asleep in her cradle.

Budi pulled the hands of Riana and Rendra, then put the hands together. He hoped that Rendra would look after his son at any time. Rendra promised her in-laws that she would look after and love Riana as sincerely as her heart. As for Riana, she was bowed in her tears upon hearing the messages from her father.

“Dad, why talk like that? Riana does not want to lose Dad,” she said sobbing.

“Dad just wants you to be happy Ria. Dad is not going anywhere and Dad is always here with you,” Tangis Riana is becoming more and more. He did not know what pain his father suffered, because Budi did not answer specifically his illness.

Riana only realized that she was there to deliver food for her father. Riana prepared the food and took it to the table. He gave food to his father. Riana's gaze continued to look at her father who was greedy to enjoy the food prepared by him.

“Dad, Ria wants to stay with dad again,” Rendra immediately glanced at his wife, he was surprised what he just said.

“You already have a husband and you should stay with him,”

“Ria is not calm leaving dad here alone. Let Ria stay with dad again yeah,”

Rendra held Riana's hand, “You don't need to stay here, Let the father who lives in our house later,” Riana looked at her husband with a big smile.

“Yeah, Daddy's on his own, right? Mas Rendra allowed Dad to stay with Ria, so Dad moved with us!” Riana was hoping for an answer from her father.

“I'm sorry Daddy son, I want to stay here because, I feel always close to your mother, Nak Rendra thanks for the offer,” Rendra just smiled to answer her.

“You can come here every day to see Dad, no need to stay with Dad, because now there is something more important that you have to take care of,” Riana down, she was really sad not being able to take care of her father like she used to. She realized that her husband was more important now than her father.

Inevitably Riana obeyed her father's order to stay with her husband and visit him while his husband was away at work. Actually Rendra Kasian saw his wife, but he also could not let his wife stay apart from him.

Riana, Rendra and Salsa who had just woken up from their sleep, spent time together until nightfall. Rendra deliberately let Riana time with her father on this day, even though she actually wanted to ask him out with Salsa this afternoon.

I don't think the moon has shown its light. Riana with a heavy heart paid to her father. During the trip Riana was just silent, her eyes were looking blankly towards the front. His mind was still at his father's house. Rendra who saw his wife was sad also felt it. He clasped Riana's hand, and kissed her.

“Don't be sad donk! Tomorrow morning I'll take you there,”

“Mas, I'm worried about Dad. I'd like to take Dad to the hospital to check on the pain he's feeling,”

“OK, tomorrow break time I will pick you up at home and bring Dad to the hospital.” both corners of Riana's lips lift upwards. She was very happy with what her husband said.

“Truly, Mas? Mas Rendra ain't lying, is he?” Rendra smiled. Riana immediately kissed her husband's left cheek and it managed to make Rendra shocked. It was fortunate that she was still in a driving state, otherwise she would have held Riana accountable because, it had made her heart thump.

It's very late. Arriving at the house Rendra took Salsa and brought her to his room. He slowly put the tiny body on his bed.

Honey, just sleep well tonight. I can't bear to eat your Mother, whispered Rendra in Salsa's little ear.
