"Wife candidate?" Jasmine, the woman over a century old was staring at Agam with a gaze demanding an explanation.
"Sorry, Ma. I haven't told Mama yet. Come in first, we'll talk inside. I will tell you about the Carnations" said Agam.
Jasmine nodded slowly. He walked past the Carnation that had just lowered his head. Is it possible that the girl was afraid of him?
Carnations took a long breath. He slowly stepped into his room. Perhaps, for a while he would wait in the room alone until Jasmine came home.
Meanwhile in the workspace, Agam and Jasmine—sang mama sat face to face with a table that separated them in the middle.
"So, tell me how did this happen? Why did you suddenly tell me that girl was your future wife, Agam?" lice Jasmine.
Agam took a rough breath while kneading his temple which suddenly felt dizzy.
"Sorry, Ma. But that was all my decision. Isn't that good news for all of us?" He folds both hands in front of his chest. "I'm tired of all this. It's good that I get married as soon as possible" he said.
Jasmine shook her head, slowly. "Who is that girl, actually? All this time I only knew Delisa as your boyfriend, Gam," she asked.
"My relationship with Delisa is over, Ma. And now my future is with Carnations."
"Mama didn't see that you were serious about Carnations. Mama also knows that Delisa has been with you all this time" said Jasmine.
"For the rest of the time, I saw that your relationship with Delisa was fine. What caused your relationship to break up?" tanyakanya.
"Simple. Because we're not fools."
Jasmine let out a rough breath. "Okay, okay. You haven't answered my mother's question about Carnations. Who is he and where did he come from?" he repeated the same question.
"She's a girl who's in trouble and needs shelter. I want to help him as much as I can" replied Agam.
"So, you don't know yet about the girl's origins?"
One corner of Agam's lips lifted. He looked at the face of the woman who had given birth to him sharply. "Do you know where I came from?" his reply.
"Of course from the Lagathias family. You are Agam Lagathias. You are our offspring and you were born from the womb of a mother!" answer Jasmine.
"Same with Carnations! He was born from the womb of a mother who loved him. She's a nice girl who deserves to be my next door!" agam with great emphasis.
"And what else was that? The Lagathias? Hmh! If only I could choose, I would rather be born from another simpler family. Not much drama let alone a power struggle!"
Jasmine's face stiffened. He breathed out slowly. He understood how Agam behaved. And of course it is not easy for the man to accept the reality that is in front of him.
"Agam, however, the whole company will fall into your hands. You are the sole heir of the Lagathias family," said Jasmine. The woman looked the other way because her chest suddenly felt tight.
"Just you can't forget the pain, can you?" They were singing without expression. Everything that happened about his family really upset him.
His father, Arsenio Lagathias, came home with another woman and a young girl. And a surprising fact!
The woman was his father's second wife. They have been married for decades and have a daughter. Really, his father's behavior is disgusting.
It was disgusting when I remembered it!
Agam did not expect that he met with Carnations. Maybe the age of Carnations is not much different from the age of his father's daughter.
"Mama's trying to forgive them, son. It's possible that your father remarried because he needed more affection. Bella can go anywhere when your dad's out of town. While mama can't," Jasmine replied in a trembling voice.
"It's possible that your father also needed the warmth of a woman when visiting out of town where mom couldn't give him. That's why she met Bella and married her first ...," Jasmine added.
Agam shook his eyes at Jasmine's face which started to cloud over. The face that began to be overgrown with aging figures was still beautiful in the eyes of Agam. The woman made him proud and upset at being able to accept his honeymoon sister living in one house.
I don't know how the life of the master at his father's house was. Because, since that incident Agam prefers to live independently and finally met with Bi Santi.
"I was surprised by my mom. Why do you want to stay with Dad? Mama can stay here with me and Bi Santi instead of being hurt inwardly" said Agam, who could not see his mother grieving.
"How could you leave your father alone, son?" Jasmine's two teary eyes looked at Agam whose face was flat.
"She's got Bella and her favorite daughter. There's no point in my mom being there. I'm sure, that mama's always been exiled there." Glam pulled both corners of the lips after saying it.
"Not so, son. No matter what happens, you can't leave your father. He is my mother's priest. Mama loves him," said Jasmine.
"Here you go, don't discuss your father's problems. And no matter what happens, don't tell anyone about yourself. Mama doesn't want anything bad to happen later" Jasmine said. "Stay a lecturer until the time comes for you to become the President of Lagathias Group" he added.
"Easy ... Mama don't expect me to be a president. It could be that father gave the position to his favorite daughter," said Agam.
Jasmine shook her head slowly. "No son, no matter how cruel your father's attitude and words, he will still give it all to you" he replied.
"He was just angry at the time. There was no intention in him to say such a painful thing. And ... Your father loved you very much." Jasmine smiled after saying so.
However, Agam only screeched because Jasmine's words did not make his heart knock.
"Oh, my mom will be home. If you really want to marry Carnation, come to the house and meet your father. Ask for his blessing so that all your steps are made." Jasmine stood up and walked over to her son who was still unmoved.
"Mama's home. Assalamu'alaikum, "greetings Jasmine.
"Hem, wa'alaikum salam" said Agam.
She covered her face with both palms. His memories of past memories are always present, passing through the mind and ending up leaving wounds.
