"For now, there is no love for you. Of course you also know the reason. But, I'm sure if slow love will come by itself, Anye. Is not our Lord turning over the heart of his servant?"
Carnations flinching. Between the admiration and wonder that collide in the mind about every speech of Agam who is very great according to him. Apparently, Agam is very mature, he thought.
"Why just shut up? Must be hard, huh, opening hearts to strangers?"
Carnation shakes. "No. It's not. I just feel like this is all too sudden. But, I can consider it again later," he said.
"Do you have a boyfriend?" I forgot to ask that important question. Not because of what. He was only afraid if there would be a man who came and claimed me as the girlfriend of Carnation when the wedding took place.
"none. I don't have time just to think about men's problems."
Agam shook his head to see the suddenly moody face of Anyelir. He could guess that what the girl beside him was feeling was related to his family.
"Has your life been busy with family business?"
Carnations heaved a heavy breath. "Yes that's it. I feel tired before I tell you."
"Your father will realize that he has wasted his precious daughter" Agam said. "Your father loves you very much. But, she is still affected by the poison spread by every word that your stepmother throws out" he added.
The two corners of the carnation lips are pulled upwards and create a beautiful smile arch. Agam who incidentally is a new person, understands about his life.
"You've been a part of my life. So, it means that you are my responsibility" said Agam.
Carielir's heart was suddenly delighted when he heard the sentence full of assertiveness from Agam
"And then .. stand and walk with me at the party. I will introduce you as my future wife to all my friends" Agam added.
Carnation's eyes instantly widened. "Do you have to?" tanyakanya.
"Yes. Let everyone know if we are the next bride and groom" said Agam.
The silent carnation did not answer. In his mind, let Agam set everything up and he just obeyed because he realized that he owed a lot to Agam.
"Later, how will I behave in front of your friends Agam?" ask Carnation.
"First, don't call me by name alone, Anye'! That's not polite. It would be very strange if others heard it" Agam said.
"Then, what else do I have to call?"
"Just call me 'Sister' for a while. Later after marriage, call me 'Mas'! It'll be better to hear."
Carnations smile. It sounded so ridiculous in his ears.
"You should get used to it because it's my order!" firmly Agam.
Carnations. "Yes, yes" he said.
"Try!"
"Huh? What's?"
"Call me brother!"
"If you don't train from now on, you won't be able to call him!"
Carnations closed their eyes as they let out a long sigh. "Yes, Brother. Thank you, because you already want to understand me," he said with a smile.
Agam turned his gaze in the other direction while making a smile. 'She is indeed an innocent girl, ' her inner self.
Finally, after almost an hour's journey, Agam and Carnation arrived at the reception.
The space building in the middle of the city looked different. Because on both sides of the entrance gate there is a beautiful curved yellow janur.
Agam and Carnation get off the car. Agam extended his arm to Carnation. The girl stared at Agam at a glance. Then, linking his arm to Agam's elbow. They walked together to the reception hall.
They were greeted by two men at the entrance. They smiled while nodding their heads.
Just getting into the reception venue, Agam and Carnation became the center of attention of the invitees there. It made Carnations instantly feel nervous and awkward.
"Why do they see us like that?" shrill Carnation, slowly.
"Don't mind. Just act normal. If they ask you about who you are, just answer if you are my lover" said Agam so casually.
Carnations nod.
And not long after, Nadia approached the two of them with a questionable look.
"Sir Agam, welcome," he said. Then, he turned towards the Carnation.
"Well, who is he?" tanyakanya.
"My wife-to-be!"
Nadia's mouth was open wide. "Ca-wives-to-be?" saith.
"Yes, Miss Nadia. Sorry, I have to see the bride" said Agam and immediately replied to a nod by Nadia.
After halfway to the podium, Delisa suddenly approached them and stopped right in front of Agam and Carnation.
"Sister, who is he? Why don't you take me?"
Carnations stared at Delisa for a few seconds. Then, he turned to look at Agam who seemed to sigh.
"When do you understand that our relationship is over, Del? Don't bother me, move!" get rid of Agam, firmly.
Delisa's face hardened. "What is he, until you act this rude?! He doesn't deserve to be with you!" he said as he looked at Anyelir with a mocking look.
"So talk! Don't you realize that my future wife is better than you?" sahut Agam's.
"Whatdidyou say? Wife-to-be?"
Shocked not Del?
