"No, Mas. It's possible that Carnations don't speak so for any other purpose." Goddess smile. He intended to show that he was a good wife who did not feel angry by the words of Carnation, although inwardly eager to tear the mouth of his stepson.

Carnations smile thinly. "Dad, Agam is already here" he said as he looked at Agam from the tail of his eyes.

Everyone looked towards the entrance. There Agam stood with a flat face. The man smiled faintly when he saw Ulayya gaped when he saw her earlier.

"Girl, please come in. Here, I introduce to my family," said Anyelir with a big smile.

However, Carnations were astonished at once wondering, why did Agam's clothes change? Wasn't he wearing an expensive suit? But now, the man was instead wearing a simple suit. Carnations really can't understand.

Agam nodded and walked forward. He stopped right on the right side of Elajar's bed and bowed his head briefly as a sign of respect.

Elajar. He watched Agam from top to bottom. Trying to research and assess Agam from his point of view.

"You Agam? The man who's getting married to my son?" ask Elajar. Both of his eyes looked disappointed when he saw Agam's appearance.

The man who was going to be his daughter-in-law looked very simple. There is nothing flashy because all that is worn is cheap clothes. There was no watch that was coiled around the wrist, even Agam came just wearing sandals.

"Yes, Sir. My name is Agam. And I came here to ask for your blessing. I and Carnation also have the blessing of my parents. Before coming here, we had a short stop by my father's house" explained Agam.

Elajar. "I heard it was you who saved my daughter?" the question was directly on Agam even though Anyelir had told him.

"Did your daughter say it?"

"yeah."

Elajar took a long breath. "Actually, my daughter is still too young to get married. But you helped her out of danger. Do you want to marry Carnation in return because you saved her?"

Agam. However, the corner of his lips was pulled upwards hearing Agam's extremely ludicrous opinion in his ears. Is it because perhaps Elajar sees himself from appearance so as to say such a thing? It is as if marriage is an act of kindness.

Meanwhile, behind them, Dewi and Ulayya who heard their chatter just threw smiles at each other. They think the one who will marry Carnation is a rich man. In fact, only ordinary men and from the simple class of people.

"Do you think I'm like a beggar expecting a return?"

Elajar. He shook slowly. "No, I didn't mean to insult you like that. Sorry, I just asked. What made you want to marry Carnations anyway? Your age seems like a far difference," he said.

"simple. Love."

Carnations. 'Love what? Isn't this purely for helping each other and giving back? But, I admit her acting is pretty cool, anyway, ' her inner self.

"I've loved your daughter since the first time I met you. The sweet and petite girl came with a body full of wounds. He looked weak, however, the look in his eyes hinted at a spirit to stay alive. Though I know, that must have been very painful." Agam smiled as Anyelir looked at him.

"What exactly happened that night? Say, son... What after you get out of here, you get hurt?" Elajar asked the Carnation. His face turned softly with both eyes glazed over as he stared at the Carnations.

Meanwhile the slightly frightened Goddess approached and sat down beside Elajar. "Is that really the story you're saying? Never say anything that has no proof. Some people dare to hurt Carnations. Everyone knows who Carnations are. There's-there's just making it up," he said.

Carnation shakes his head. "From here, I know that you're better than I had in mind. You can tell stories, tell things that revolve around the facts," he said, smiling cynically.

The goddess took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

After saying this, Carnation straightened his head. He looked at his father and said, "I came with a good purpose. Agam and I are getting married. So, I hope you'll come later to be my guardian."

Elajar could only bow. "Son, can't it be if you and she don't get married? I'm afraid you'll have economic difficulties. Marriage is not as beautiful as you think. A lot of things will happen without us knowing," he explained trying to change the stance of Carnation.

"So did my father" said the Carnation which made Elajar again stunned. "Didn't you not think mature before you remarry? You know, right, if getting married is not just to be able to give up orgasm? Why marry if there must be a sacrificial feeling, father?"

Elajar's face flushed. He could not believe that Carnations could say such a thing. He did not expect that his mouth could be silenced by the sentence of his daughter who was like being stripped of herself.

"Sorry, I have to leave immediately. We have a lot to take care of. Agam himself also had to finish his affairs on campus," said Anyelir. "At least, when I came here, you could be relieved that the daughter you thought was dead was alive and well."

Carnations muttered, "Campus?"

"Agam a lecturer. But, not a permanent lecturer," said Caramelir when he heard the muttering voice of the father. "I'm leaving. Take care of yourself," said Anyelir.

Without reprimanding the Goddess and Ulayya, Anyelir stepped away. He was told by Agam who also paid only to Elajar.

"You've done great things" praised Agam as they were in the car and drove away from the residence.

When he got into the car, Carnations could no longer hold back the tears that were jostling to get out. Her tears flowed profusely along with the sound of loud sobs.

"Did I not go too far?" Carnations asked in a severed voice.

"Why care about it now?" sahut Agam's.

"I was guarding myself not to look weak in front of Dewi and Ulayya. You see, they were surprised to see me? They're also trying so hard to ruin my good name in front of me."

Agam. "Here you go, stop your crying and wipe away your tears. Didn't I tell you not to cry for them? If you want to go forward and win, then don't show your weak side" he said.

For the weak man for Agam is only one whose pride will be trampled on later.
