Farzan finally sat down with Sandra and Chila. They prepared to eat together with the dishes that were served.
“So Chila did finish school at this hour?” ask Farzan.
“Yes, I used to pick her up and drive her home after taking her to lunch,” Sandra replied with a small smile on her face.
Farzan nodded, then turned to Chila who looked troubled to cut off her flesh. Sandra also realized that her daughter was in trouble, about to take Chila's plate to help cut, but who would have thought if Farzan had already taken the little girl's plate first.
“Let me cut,” said Farzan with a warm smile on the face.
Sandra was quite surprised that Farzan was so attentive to her daughter, seeing how the man helped cut Chila's meat. He turned to the princess, saw the little girl smiling and kept looking at Farzan.
“Already, now you just eat.” Farzan shifted the plate containing the meat that had been cut towards Chila.
Chila was very happy, then stabbed the piece and gave it to Farzan's plate. He then focused on eating after giving Farzan a piece of meat.
Farzan was shocked to see what Chila was doing. Sandra was also flabbergasted because her daughter was not usually easy to give something to someone.
“Chila, this is for you. Eat a lot to be healthy and fast big.” Farzan wanted to return the piece of meat to Chila's plate.
Sandra prevented Farzan's hand from returning the piece of meat, causing the man to stop reaching out to Chila's plate and now look at Sandra.
“Don't be returned or he'll be angry!” Sandra forbids Farzan. “She gave it as a thank you sign because you helped, so accept that she is happy,”.
Farzan gasped at Sandra's explanation, then looked at Chila who was focusing on eating. She slightly brought her face closer to Chila, before then asking, “Chila gave this out of wanting to thank you?”
Chila did not turn her head to Farzan, only nodding and continuing to stuff the piece of meat into her mouth.
Sandra was happy because it seemed like Chila was back to find someone who could make the little girl comfortable, but also didn't expect much if her daughter could make friends, either, considering if he had not known Farzan long ago and could have met also because of mere coincidence.
“What company do you work with close to here area?” ask Sandra between meals.
“Yes, a few blocks from here,” replied Farzan, glancing at Sandra before then refocusing the meal. “Tadi actually accidentally saw Chila sitting, so I thought to approach,” he added then while turning to Chila.
Sandra nodded, then put the food in her mouth again.
“What are you ..” Farzan wanted to ask something, but stopped because his phone was ringing. He also chose to reach into the phone in his pants pocket, then see who contacted. The facial expression that initially looked so happy was now changed, a little unhappy when he saw the name displayed on the screen.
Sandra noticed and realized the change in the man's facial expression, but she also did not want to ask because of course not entitled to know, so Sandra chose to stay focused on eating while watching Chila eat.
Farzan himself inevitably ended up answering the call. He replied with a lazy tone.
“Halo,” sapanya so stick the phone to the ear. Farzan rubbed his forehead while listening to someone talk from across the call.
“Alright,” he said later and immediately ended the call.
“Office call?” sandra asked when she saw Farzan was done talking.
“Phone is not important,” he replied, turn off the phone power and put it in the pocket.
Sandra gave a small nod, then continued eating because she had to immediately drive Chila home and back to the company.
