Eps 17// FAITHFUL ACCOMPANY
Dafri remained faithful waiting for his mother who was still lying weakly in the ICU room. Papa Dafri told me that his mother was unconscious at the door of their room that morning. Papa Dafri who just came out of the bathroom just lifted his body and tried to wake him but Mama Dafri was completely unconscious from his stings so Papa Dafripun decided to take his Mama to the hospital.
While at IGD, the doctor concluded that Mama Dafri had a sudden heart attack that made him unconscious. And because the condition of his body is increasingly unstable, the doctor also suggested that Mama Dafri be put into the ICU room to get more intensive treatment.
Until now Papa Dafri did not know what triggered the sudden heart attack on his wife. Because before Papa Dafri entered the bathroom to take a bath, his wife looked fine - and even he was ready - ready to go jogging at that time.
At 8pm, Dafri told Papa and his sister to go home and rest at home. Dafri chose to keep his mother in the hospital.
"Chayra, you better come home with Papa and Dika. Just rest at home." Dafri said to Chayra before Papa Dafri left.
"No Dafri, I'm here with you." declined Chayra directly who did not want to leave Dafri alone in the hospital.
"You sure you want to stay here, don't you want to rest at home?" dafri asked as he looked at his wife. And Chayra immediately nodded her head confidently.
After Papa and Dafri's sister returned home, Dafri and Chayra were both there. They sat in the long chair in front of the ICU room.
"Dafri, did you eat first? This was me buying food outside." said Chayra by offering the food to the husband.
"I'm not hungry, Chayra. You eat it." said Dafri by rejecting subtle offers from Chayra.
"But, Dafri.. Since noon, you have not eaten. At least you eat a little, lest you get sick because you don't eat" said Chayra, who is still trying to persuade Dafri to eat.
"Had it then." answered Dafri finally with a heavy sigh and while taking food proffered by Chayra.
"Aren't you eating too?" ask Dafri after feeding the food.
"I ate bread earlier. Still full, hehe.." said Chayra with a small laugh.
"What is the concept? You advised me to eat so as not to get sick, while you yourself have not eaten since last afternoon? Just eat bread where you can be full, Chayra" said Dafri.
"More.. We eat the same." continued Dafri again by presenting the food to Chaya. But, Chayra seemed hesitant - hesitant to accept it.
"Why not take? You don't want to eat my old one, do you?" ask Dafri suspiciously.
"No.. No Dafri, it's not that." Chayra immediately refuted Dafri's words.
"Then, take it. We eat the same. Or do you want me to bribe you?" dafri said again which made Chayra even more awkward.
"No need for Dafri, I can eat alone really" said Chayra who then took the food and seconds later feed it to her mouth. They spent the food together.

Dafri returned to see Chayra sleeping beside him. Long he looked at the face of Chayra who still looks sweet while sleeping. And then, knowing Chayra's uncomfortable sleeping position, Dafripun moved Chayra's head on her thigh and then covered Chayra's body with his jacket.
After that, out of nowhere the impulse that made Dafri even stroked - the soft elus of the woman's forehead to the back of her head. Dafri did not understand at all what he was doing, which he clearly felt happy and comfortable doing. A few moments later, suddenly Chayra's body wriggled and then moved from the direction that originally slept on her back now moved mirring to the right. And at the same time Chayra held Dafri's hand and carried him into her arms. Dafri was a little stunned to receive treatment from Chayra even though Dafri knew that Chayra had not been conscious from her sleep. However, Dafri did not move his hand and let his hand remain in the woman's arms.
A while later, Dafri was still slowly awake - the land felt an unbearable drowsiness. He yawned several times until finally, the man also fell asleep with Chayra next to him.
At dawn, the Sister in charge of the ICU room woke up Dafri and Chayra.
"Yes, Sus.. Why?" dafri asked with a bit of shock and anxiety. Chayra also woke up and then sat with her eyes still sleepy.
"Dina's mother was conscious and she wanted to meet her son Dafri." explained the sister.
"Yes, I'm Dafri.. His son," said Dafri quickly with a sense of happiness on his face after knowing his mother was aware.
"Then, please go inside. But, by yourself yes." said the sister again by looking at Chayra who initially wanted to go inside as well. And without saying anything to Chayra, Dafripun immediately rushed into the ICU room.
After Dafri entered there, the dawn prayer also reverberated. So Chayra decided to go downstairs to perform dawn prayers at the musholla which happened to be in the hospital.
While in the ICU room, Dafri is now standing next to his mother who still looks very weak. Seeing Dafri's arrival, Dina made a faint smile by moving her hand towards Dafri. And Dafripun immediately held her Mama's hand gently and kissed her warmly.
"Dafriii.." said her mother in a hoarse voice calling Dafri's name.
"Yes, Ma. This is Dafrii." said Dafri with a thin smile and eyes that began to look glassy.
"Dwf.. Mama, Mama.. ask, ka.mu..." Dina let out a limped voice - limped and took pains to finish her sentence.
"Ma, don't talk much just yet. Mom is calm. Dafri here is really Mama's friend" said Dafri who did not have the heart to see his mother who was still difficult to get her voice out. However, Dina still continued her unfinished words. He seemed to want to ask something important to Dafri.
"No, Dafri.. Mamma.. You want to be honest, what. ka.mu.masih.. Love Clarissa??" dina asked in a voice that was almost lost but still clearly heard by Dafri.
Dafri was really surprised by the question asked by his mother, a question that he could not answer. And Dafri chose to be quiet and not answer.
"Ji.ka you still love her, come back with Clarissa.. Leave Chayra.." continued Dina again and after that Dina's breath arrived - suddenly crowded. He was breathing with a gasp, Dafri who was panicking immediately called the nurse..
