The rain has been pouring down the earth since noon that day, to create the cold on a darker afternoon than usual and make the owner of the wounded heart still faithfully curled up on the bed that is not so big but warm.
It had been three days since she heard her husband's answer to his question the other day, she had chosen to sleep separately with him.
It is undeniable that there is a kind of incision in her heart, when her husband said that he would be responsible for the results of his actions, which he said were the deeds of the curse.
Although in a sentence that came out of Denis' lips, he included a statement that would not release himself because of the love so deep.
Everyone should be proud of Denis' answer. Because with that phrase, prove that the man is a responsible man. However, not for Nabila who already know the real facts.
The vibration and sound of Nabila's cell phone on the pillow did not make the woman flinch to just pick up the call or reject it. Without looking, he knew who was contacting him.
She was sure that her husband called at that time, because from noon somehow her husband called, but he ignored her. She actually misses her husband very much, but the anger that is still not extinguished makes her have to ignore her longing.
Not long after, the door of the room opened and subtle steps were heard approaching the bed, making Nabila immediately close her eyes, pretending to be asleep.
Denis sat on the edge of the bed, then dropped his body tilted, right in front of Nabila. "Honey" he called slowly as he gently stroked his wife's head, ascertaining whether she was really asleep.
Feeling that his wife was sleeping, Denis shifted his body towards his wife. Get rid of the hair covering the woman's face, then gently kiss her forehead.
"Say, I have to how so you don't behave like this" Denis said.
"It was my fault. If it hadn't happened, it wouldn't be like this" Denis said. The man then kissed his wife's face repeatedly.
"I don't want to make a bigger mistake, abandoning the boy. The boy is innocent, baby. I'm the sinner", Denis' tears suddenly overflowed.
"But believe me, you're my only woman. I don't want anything else. I will love no other woman but you, even if the child's mother is in the middle of our lives" Denis said.
The man decided to get out of the room, where he is now, after expressing his heart to his wife who still did not change his position.
Along with the door of the room that was closed again by her husband, Nabila opened her eyes wide. Without a trace, her tears washed over her white face.
"He's not your son, mas. No!" nabila said in his heart.
That night Nabila had completed his task of making dinner dishes and arranging the dishes on the table. Not to forget also she cleaned all the kitchen utensils that she had just finished using, while waiting for her husband to come down for dinner.
Usually, she had not finished cooking, her husband would have sat down with a henchman facing the dining table. However, this time was different, so Nabila was a little restless and decided to go upstairs, precisely in their bedroom.
The woman decided to open the door in front of her own, after several knocking did not get a response from the person inside.
His heart was relieved when he found the figure he was looking for in the room. Unlike her guess, who had thought her husband was not home.
"Mas, Mrs Denis... Dinner is ready. Let's eat first!" said Nabila, while swaying slowly the arm of her husband who was on his stomach by wearing a thin white T-shirt and sarong.
Slowly, Denis began to open his eyes. He tried to find the source of the sound, which made him have to turn around.
"Dear" Denis said, smiling.
The man immediately got up and sat with his wife's fingers. "What's up, baby?" He asked while placing his palm on the back of his wife's hand on the bed. But quickly Nabila pulled his hand.
"I've made dinner" Nabila said without looking at her husband.
"My body is not healthy, you eat first. If I'm good, I'll eat. Don't spend it!" Denis.
Nabila wanted to stand but was stopped because of the words of her husband. She looked quickly at her husband. Looked at with a guilty look.
"You sick, mas? Why not say?" Nabila asked worriedly as she placed her palm on her husband's forehead.
"Then let the food be brought here" said Nabila as he moved from his seat, but quickly Denis held him by taking his wrist.
"No need, you'll be tired to go back and forth" Denis said.
"Wait a minute!", said Nabila. The woman rushed out of the room, after being able to escape from her husband's hands.
Before long Nabila brought a plate of food and a glass of water. She painstakingly put the spoonful of food into her husband's mouth.
Without any conversation, the room was silent. There is only the longing gaze of a husband on his wife, who is still indifferent to him.
"Eat it too!" Denis broke the silence.
"Later, I'll eat after this" replied Nabila. The mood went quiet after that.
"Rest, so as to get better soon" said Nabila while receiving an empty glass whose contents had just been drunk by her husband.
"I'll only improve if you're next to you". Denis' words made Nabila flinch. Slowly the woman stared at her husband.
I want this woman to throw into the arms of her husband and tell him the truth, but she feels not yet the time is not necessarily also her husband will immediately believe.
Denis quickly pulled Nabila's body. Hugged it with love. Nabila did not reject it even though he did not return the hug.
"Let it be like this first. I just wanted to hug you" Denis said. The man hugged his wife for a long time, until they both fell asleep.
Nabila wriggled her body as her eyes began to open. "What time is this?" Ask in your heart and then look at the wall clock on the top right of the door.
"Definitely eat a lot of ice saucer rice slices, it's delicious" said Nabila quietly with a funny look at the food he wanted.
Nabila slowly got out of bed and walked towards the wardrobe, intending to take a sweater, because the weather tonight was really cold.
After taking the blue sweater from the closet and wearing it, the woman came out of her room quietly so as not to disturb the husband's nap.
"Which one is it? It looks good, but this one is also good. Hmmm..so confused", exclaimed Nabila with her finger still stalling her phone screen looking at the menu she wanted to eat.
"If you can eat in place, it must be better" Nabila imagined while wetting her upper lips with her tongue.
"Hungry huh?" Suddenly Denis's voice startled Nabila along with the man's hands clinging to both of his wife's shoulders.
Nabila just looked at her husband while his hand hid the phone to the back of his body.
"What do you eat? let me find!" Denis.
"Hmmm... " Nabila shook her head.
"Don't lie! Where's phone!" Denis said, handing.
With doubt Nabila gave her phone that she had just hidden.
"You really want this peeper, who?" Denis asked as he frowned, looking at his cell phone and his wife in turn. Nabila nodded his head confidently.
"It's almost 10 o'clock baby, it's raining anyway. There are people selling this stuff" Denis said.
"Yaudah if you don't want to find it, I can pesen bang ojek aja" said Nabila upset while seizing his phone.
