Waiting for your Love to Grow

Waiting for your Love to Grow
Refusal

"When mom asked you to go to the market? Some mami grocery list was not in the stall mbak Asih", pinta mami on Nabila.

"Ok, mi!" Answer Nabila while giving one thumb, then put the spoon filled with chicken porridge back into his mouth.

"Sir, ready to do it, right?" Tanya Nabila on Fendi who focuses on the food in front of her.

Fendi raised his head, after the food in his mouth was swallowed perfectly, he said, "Just like Denis' sister, I still want to mengelesein report, tomorrow it's time to setor report."

Denis placed his palm on the back of Nabila's hand, then squeezed it gently so that the owner of the hand turned to him.

"Let me just walk, will you?", Denis said gently with a nod.

"I can take the angkot, ma'am." She said, pulling her hand out of her husband's.

~~No matter how I feel right now, I don't know either. The affection and attention my husband has been giving me lately, feels like an opium to me. Makes me always want to be close, loved, cared for. Very comfortable and protected to be near him. Even though I realized I had not been able to repay the equivalent of what my husband gave me.

Love?! I don't know what's really inside of me, but it doesn't seem like love. Maybe slowly I have begun to get rid of the past love story in my heart, but growing a new love still feels difficult for this empty soul, even though the logic requires me to fulfill it. I really want to love my partner, with great love.

*However, the memory of that night lingered tightly in the memory of my brain, eroding slowly the despair I began to wake up to. The cries that dominated my nights also joined the alliance shook my confidence in the man who was now by my side.

Who is the woman who does not sting? Who is the woman who is not hurt? Who is the woman who is not? Found traces of her man enjoying the paradise of the world with the women out there? Even if he says he no longer loves her.

Sometimes it comes to my mind, just let the bond slip let it all disappear.

But instead I was afraid that his release would make new wounds that were difficult to heal.

Because I'm still fingering.there's a sense of what my soul really is for her.

Please convince me, should I hold on or let go. ~~ (Nab*)

"Then I as your husband won't let you go, even if your parents ask for it" Denis said with a cold look at Nabila.

He finished his breakfast, though there was not yet half the porridge in his bowl that he ate. He got up from his seat and stepped away from the people who were now looking at him questioningly.

~~I don't know since when this taste came. Comfortable and happy when he was by my side. The fear of losing him. And the feeling of wanting to make me the only one he sees.

I know a wound has been cut deep in your deepest soul. But is there no more opportunity and speed for me to keep you together, protect you, and be your back when your feet suck on you.

I know from your eyes, there haven't been any buds of love growing for me there. But a million convictions come to me, and the time will come for me to be the most important man in your dreams and your reality. So let me come, knock, and get in there. ~~ (Dns)

"After your husband! don't hurt him with your refusal! You are a wife. No matter how angry you are, still respect your husband." Mami told Nabila.

Nabila got up from where she was sitting, then walked out to look for her husband. "Have I gone too far?", inwardly.

His feet stopped when his eyes caught the figure he was looking for, sitting on one of the chairs in the corner of the terrace. The man appears to be talking to someone on the other end of the phone.

"Alright, just tell him I'm willing to meet him don't forget to call Karina to get me everything I need." Denis ended the conversation on the phone.

Denis leaned his back on the head of the chair, trying to relax his muscles that felt stiff. But his intention was unraveled when a voice from behind him called out in a soft voice. A voice that he so often misses lately.

Denis turned his gaze toward the caller, then smiled knotfully. He changed his seat so he could see his wife.

"Have you finished breakfast?" Denis asked and answered a nod by Nabila.

"Mas Denis wants to continue eating earlier? I'll get you?" bargain Nabila. He would move from his seat but Denis' voice stopped him.

"No, Nab. I'm full," replied Denis lying when his stomach from earlier protest asking to be filled.

"Pardon my words, yes, I shouldn't have refused your request." Nabila said, his eyes seem full of regret.

Denis smiled, then got up and walked closer to Nabila. He stopped right in front of the woman. He bent his body slightly and took Nabila's palm, then placed it on his palm. While the other palm was superimposed on the back of Nabila's hand earlier.

He tried to observe Nabila's face carefully. "I've forgiven you without you asking" Denis said with a sincere smile.

Nabila pulled both ends of her lips, revealing that she was happy to hear the words that came out of her husband's mouth. "Let's go, now!", he said later, with a glowing face.

Denis put his palm to Nabila's cheek. "I'm sorry, baby, I have to go now. A client asked to meet. Let Fendi drive you, I'll talk to him. I don't want you to ride an angkot" said Denis, who then kissed Nabila's forehead for a moment before finally entering the house.

When Nabila who had looked happy, now his face turned sad. It hurt to get rejection from her husband, even though the rejection was reasonable. Although disappointed, he tried to be okay.

After being able to neutralize her feelings, Nabila decided to enter following her husband into the house.

Denis turned his head towards the door along with Nabila who seemed to have entered the room.

"Well, you know where my suit was?" Denis asked, pointing towards the bed.

"I keep it in the closet, mas," replied Nabila while walking towards the wardrobe. Last time to eat breakfast, Nabila had to go into the room again to comb his hair. Seeing Denis's things falling apart, he tidied them up.

Nabila helped Denis put the coat on her body and put the tie around her husband's neck.

"I've spoken to Fendi, he'll take you to the market. Go home when you are done, don't stop by anywhere. I may have come home a little late, so if you're sleepy, there's no need to wait for me" Denis advised his wife. His hands were now wrapped around his wife's waist.

"Ge-er, who will wait for you," replied Nabila in his cuckoo style, making Denis laugh loudly and pulling his wife's nose to the redness.

"I'll go first!" Pamit Denis's. Before stepping out of the room, he did not want to miss the opportunity to enjoy his wife's lips. Denis only wanted to come out after Nabila pushed his body because of the pain of his behavior that bit his wife's thin lips.

After saying goodbye to his in-laws, Denis immediately set off on a motorcycle that was the result of bartering with his sister-in-law.
