The man from the 5th Floor

Kay and Emi use the elevator to go upstairs. The elevator door opened and there was a man there. The man nodded and threw a friendly smile at Kay and Emi. 

"New inhabitants?" ask her to Kay.

"Sister Cal. Emi introduce this Rascal from the 5th floor."

Emilee shakes Rascal's hand and they part when Rascal steps out.

"If there's any time to stop by" said Rascal half-screaming.

Kay did not answer him with a speech, but she showed her thumb a sign of agreement. After that he immediately went upstairs.

Kay unlocked her apartment.  The apartment was not spacious, consisting of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 small kitchen, a living room that was at once a reading room. The paint wall is light purple and has been peeling in several parts.

"Emi, you slept in that room, I just cleaned it up."

"All right"

"You can wear my clothes, electricity sometimes dies, because the rent here is cheap. After cooking or eating, do you wash? And I work from Sunday to Thursday at 9am to 5pm." Kay explained.

"OK." said Emilee briefly.

"And tonight I have an appointment to go out with Blake."

 "Just whatever...." Emi went straight into her tidied up room. 

"This is the duplicate key to his apartment. Mom and dad will come later too."

"I don't want to meet them today Kay. Please tell them to come tomorrow. "

 "Well."

At 17:00

The bell rang and Kay opened the door, in front of her apartment stood a blond man who had met in the elevator.

"Welcome to you. From my mother." Rascal smiled kindly.

"Oh, come in Cal. You don't have to bother like this."

They sat in the living room and Emilee came out of the room to join. They started chatting warmly while eating the tart from Rascal's mother. Rascal is a friendly and considerate man, Emi is getting comfortable to share her story with him even though they have just met.

At 19:00

Blake was already standing at the door in her neat outfits, Kay introducing her to Emilee. Blake was not very familiar with Rascal so he just shook hands with him and busied himself with the magazine on the table. Waiting for Kay who changed clothes and finally came out carrying her small bag.

"Cal, if you're not busy, can you please accompany Emi?" as a girl with a mole on that cheek.

"Of course, with pleasure."

"You don't need to send a message like that, Kay, I'm not a kid." Emilee sulks.

Kaylee smiled and went out with Blake. Blake's car is parked outside the apartment.

"You didn't mean to set them up, did you?" ask Blake.

"No, but if they're together I think it'll be good."

"Don't be silly baby, that Rascal likes you...." Blake put on his jealous face.

"Stop this shit, are we gonna watch it or not?" Kaylee was a little annoyed at Blake when she was jealous of Rascal. He had no feelings for his neighbor.

Blake relented, stopped his speech and started driving to the cinema.

The night has passed, today is Wednesday morning. Kaylee has to work, though,

"Emi, if you want, you can come to work at the store where I work. Boss would take you...."

"I'll find somewhere else. Today they're coming too, so I'm home. It's Dr. noon anyway. Chaury will visit me."

"Dr. Chaury?"

"The doctor took care of me."

"If there's anything call me or you can call Rascal. "

Kaylee went to work, and she met Rascal, who was carrying a pile of cardboard bread. Yes.he and his mother had an effort to make bread and seemed to be quite in demand.

"For Kay."

"For Cal."

At work Kaylee Mirror,

"Brengs*k, no one asked you to be here!" Kay yelled at a shop customer who had treated her insolently.

"How dare you yell at me?!"

"If it's wrong, it's wrong! Not that apologizing is acting too outrageous!" spray Kay.

"Basic women jal*ng!"

Boss Aaron walked out of his office to the cashier and the customer.

"What's wrong?" tanyakanya.

"He's not polite to me."

"You're not just a servant not a queen, should I worship you...?" said the man whose face was already red.

"Please get out of here, Mr. Danny." asked Aaron Boss.

"What?! How dare you drive customers away!"

Without saying much more Boss Aaron punched Danny in the face and he immediately staggered back into the ready-to-eat food shelf. Danny holds his bloody nose and comes out cursing and threatening Boss Aaron and Kaylee.

Kay thanked Boss Aaron and he tidied up the canned food that had fallen and scattered. It feels really upset to get a customer who dares to touch it.

At least he did not get a ride home, so he decided to walk because he did not want to trouble Blake.

Kay started walking down the streets that were starting to get quiet. Something strange, it seemed like someone was following him. Was that the shop customer? Kay sped up her pace, it was getting dark.

Damnit...  Damnit...  Damnit... Am I being followed?

Kay turned and took a different path than usual. He didn't want the stalker to know where he lived. Once he got to the big corner, he felt safe, the streets were brighter and a lot of people. It seems that he was no longer followed. Kaylee looked right and left to make sure she was safe.

"Not delivered Blake?" ask Emi who was reading a novel when Kay came.

"No, I'm on foot. How's mom and dad?"

"They didn't come, but Dr. Chaury came and asked me for a further check tomorrow at his practice."

"won't come? I'll call them...."

"no need. I don't need their attention, just let them not visit me. You're happier without them, too, right?"

"Hmmh, my God. Oh yeah, close your bedroom window while you sleep and make sure the front door is locked."

At midnight, Kaylee heard the front door knock. He turned on the light, and out of the room, Emi also went out of the room.

"Who are these nights?" ask Emilee.

"Eitherway. Who's out there?"

Silent.

Kay asked again,

"Don't fuck around. Who's out there?"

Still quiet and no answer. Kay opened the door, followed by Emilee. The hallway was dim and empty, there was no one.

"Who?" ask Emilee who looks worried.

"No one is...." Kay immediately locked the door and asked Emi to sleep with him.

That night Kaylee had a hard time closing her eyes, her feelings were alarmed. He had heard much of the terrible terror from his newspapers and mystery novels. He switched his back to Emi, and a quarter of an hour later he began to fall asleep.

In the morning Kay and Emi asked the guard and receptionist if anyone came in the middle of the night. Officers said three people arrived in the middle of the night. A pizza deliveryman for the officer, a drunk man from the second floor, and Rascal from the fifth floor. Kay went straight to the fifth floor and met Rascal.

"Don't bother us" Kay said briefly.

"I'm sorry? Whatchu mean?" his facial expression immediately changed.

"You don't have to fad by knocking on the door in the middle of the night and then leaving."

"I? I didn't.. hey, I went straight to bed last night, I didn't even go up to the seventh floor." Rascal said.

"Don't lie, Blake said you might be interested in me or Emi. Lately you've been visiting a lot, too, but please don't do anything silly."

"Well, you're a bit frontal, aren't you? But I really didn't do what you accused Kay of. Is it possible.. You have a problem with someone?"

Kay was stunned, she recalled the incident at the store with Danny. But the guard said there were only three people who came in the middle of the night, and only two who went up.

"sorry. I'm fucked up, for now don't visit us, Cal." Kay takes Emi up to her apartment, and leaves Rascal in a sad gawk.

In Emi's room, by the way,

"Emi, do you have a problem with someone?"

"What's? What's wrong with you? Why are you asking that?"

"Jawab only... "

Uh! It can feel crazy! I'm being paranoid. Kaylee.

"No."

"Honestly, I mean, you're in a place of troubled people..."

Emilee frowned, Kay pacing before her.

"Listen to Kay! I have no friends or enemies except for the cold walls and the hard mattresses of the rehabilitation center." Emi looks angry.

"..." - ".Kay speechless. Hmm, yeah of course. Excuse me.

"After all, the people who are there aren't as bad as you think." he added.

"Sure...."

"Or maybe you have a problem with people who like you?" Emi asked back.

"Emilee!" snapped Kay.

Kay exited the room and called Blake.

"Hello?" greet Kay.

"Hey baby, what's wrong?"

"Someone knocked on my door last night, and I don't know who did it...."

"What?!"

"That bothers me a lot...."

"Have you asked the guard?" ask Blake.

"It has. No one's up except second-floor drunks and Rascal."

"Maybe the fucker.." - infuriated Blake.

"No, it doesn't seem. I've met him."

"Where might he confess, dear?"

"Either Blake, I'm a little scared. A couple of days ago I had an argument with Danny Wilfred."

"Why don't you tell me, baby?"

"I don't want to worry you."

"Hmmh, come home from work meet me at Cafe RX. I'm not comfortable if I have to meet Rascal or talk to Emi. "

Kay closes the call and goes to take a shower 5 minutes later, Emilee is already out looking for work. While drying her hair, Kay heard someone knocking on the door again. He hesitantly peeked out of the keyhole. But no one was in sight. Kay retreated in panic, she stomped on something from the floor that made a crunchy sound, a piece of paper.

Kay smothered her mouth, she squeezed the paper, got dressed and grabbed her bag to meet the guard.

"Mrs. Halley... Did anyone just go up?"

"Oh, there's no Miss. The mirror. Is something bothering you?"

"Hmmh, no. It's okay." Kay exited the apartment and headed for the store, feeling that someone was following her again. Is it the same person? Or just my feelings? Kay called a taxi immediately.

"For Kay!" greet Boss Aaron.

"For Boss, Boss Aaron look at this...!" Kay showed the paper and the message to Boss Aaron.

"What's this?" tanyanya astonishment.

"It was in my apartment this morning, it seemed to be inserted from the bottom of the door...."

"People prank?"

"It seems not, because last night I heard people knocking on my door, this morning as well. So I came to the conclusion that whoever it was, he was trying to bother me."
