The Train Will Never Walk Back

I've been pinning down Norie's body. We've both drowned together in our memories and our past is back.

Suddenly, Ava's shadow came. And I'm slowly starting to snap at that crazy thing.

" What's up, Shin?" whispered Norie who was still lying on the sofa. And I'm still on it. I just kept staring at him flat. Slowly Norie grabbed me back and kissed me back.

But I slightly pushed her body so that the kiss was over.

I immediately sat on the sofa. And Norie also changed her position and sat down beside me.

" What's up, Shin?" asked Norie again while holding one of my cheeks and facing her face.

" I'm sorry, Norie." I said slowly. "This is a mistake."

" What do you mean, Shin?"

" And being here was a mistake." I got up from my seat and took my coat and backpack. "I have to go!" I looked straight at Norie.

" Sin..." Norie pulled my right arm.

" Sorry. Tomorrow can't take you home. For today's events just assume they never happened. Let's just say you never see me again."

" Tap.. But why?" asked Norie who was still holding my right arm. "Does that mean we can't be together anymore?"

I was silent for a moment. Then look at him straight. I held both of his shoulders and slightly lowered my head.

" Norie, listen to me..!" I said slowly. "You are so perfect and beautiful. There are many men out there who want to be with you and want to be with you. There's a lot of guys out there who are better than me."

" Please stay here, Shin. Stay with me until morning comes. After that I promise I won't trouble you anymore. I just want to be with you right now, Shin" she said and then sobbed back.

" Ehm.. Alright. I'll stay here." I said at last.

I stayed with him until morning.

I accompanied him until he finally fell asleep. I gave her a blanket and then I laid my body on the couch. Yep.. I'll sleep on the couch tonight.

" Hm.. Me and him met yesterday afternoon." I said flatly.

" Then how? You're not in love with her anymore, Shin?" search Ibby.

" Fell in love? Gahahaha.." I laughed out loud. "You kidding me, Ibby? Any man who met her would definitely fall in love with her. He's so perfect."

" Is that really?" ask Ibby again with interest.

" Yeap." I said as I grafted both my hands. "That's it. Anyway he's still my past. I don't want to walk backwards." I said as I stared outside the classroom.

" Shin's." Igarashi patted my shoulder.
