Chapter 13 Castle Ruins

What this actually is, my heart beats to be very fast compared to before when I was just silent myself. I could feel a strange feeling, which was like something was trying to call me but I didn't know anything about it more like the instinct of a wild animal hunting its prey. I tried to win myself but whatever I tried to do was all in vain.

I stood up from my seat right now and looked around to see what it was but there was nothing strange around. Is this feeling just an illusion, if it is so there is no logical explanation of my body's reaction right now which means this is really happening.

Seeing me start acting weird Ricky tried to ask me if there was anything wrong he could warn everyone to get ready.

"What's leo!? Is there any danger approaching"

Ricky asked with a worried look.

"It's nothing, I'm just thinking a lot"

With my answer he began to return to his calm state as before. No time passed and now it was morning, everyone began to wake up from their deep sleep and immediately went out of the tent to prepare to leave. Everyone is busy with their duties.

A man came closer to us and I could clearly see his sleepy expression through him yawning along the way, this man was the gaston.

"Hey, how was last night? "

He asked while yawning, indeed sleeping all night is not enough for you huh? Thought me in the heart. Eating and sleeping well may be the key to why he can thrive.

"Ah lord gaston everything's fine, nothing strange last night, yes leo"

Long story short, we were now on the train to our destination, and the strange thing that I had felt was getting closer and closer. In a few days we will get to our destination.

And the thing that I felt before was getting stronger and stronger so that I could no longer bear it, I had to immediately check the source of all this. Maybe what's bothering me right now is a good thing.

Then it's time to get to the source of this discomfort. I then closed my eyes and tried to focus on finding the direction I was supposed to go.

And I found it right in front of me at this moment was a vast meadow as long as the eye could see. Because there's a small path here then that means one thing, there's something at the end of this road. Maybe a place that can be visited like a village or something.

There was nothing strange along the way except for some grass and weeds that had grown up in the middle of the road, which told him that this road had long been unused. It may have been about half a day I walked but the end of this path has not been seen either.

"Maybe this is a wasted idea? But since it's been so far I think it's better to continue, after all I hate something that's wasted after work"

Before long all my complaints got the result, the end of this road was visible and there were ruins like a castle. Rather than calling it a castle it might be more precisely a small town because there are several small buildings that seem to be former residential residents.

When I entered the area around the castle, I could tell that this place had been abandoned for a long time, the gate made of thick wood was very weathered, I don't even need to use force at all to break through.

At first I thought that this place had indeed been abandoned, but it seems that I guess wrong this place is still inhabited by its inhabitants or rather the rest of what is there of them.

From the beginning I entered I had seen human skulls where, the clothes they were familiar with were also hollow or torn like marks slashed by a sword. Were they all killed attacked by the enemy but then this would all be even stranger because there was no sign of damage to the surrounding walls.

Suddenly the sound of footsteps rang out, from his voice this was the footsteps of a group of people who were walking in line and another voice sounded like it came from armor. In any case I thought this was very suspicious where there might be a group of soldiers in armor in an abandoned place like this.

The voice was getting closer and I decided to hide and observe what was coming. It was true that it was a group of soldiers in armor but the ones inside were not living creatures but human skulls that moved like humans in general.

I can't believe what I'm seeing, how an ordinary skull could have come to life like that. I had seen something similar before but what I saw before had at least one soul. But those I see today are just a bunch of bones, even when I look at them with my eyes there is no sign that they have a soul.

I really want to go back but I can't do that strong feeling in me that forced me to stay here until I got it. Moreover, I could sense that something interesting to me earlier was in this place.

After observing this entire place except within the castle there were some things that were certain. First the number of skull warriors was not just a few but there were hundreds. Both of what I was looking for seemed to be inside the castle but I couldn't enter because the guard inside was very tight. The three skull warrior powers were not very different from adults but their numbers were the problem. The four movements of the skull warriors were very organized it meant that there was someone or a creature giving orders to them and it seemed like he was inside the castle.

The second day I'm here and I still haven't found a crack to sneak into the castle and my reconnaissance continues....
