Chapter 10 Monsters

Goblins are dwarf creatures that have a shape similar to humans but are overall green. Because they have no sense and tend to attack anything they see, they are categorized as monsters. They themselves were the lowest ranked monsters, though, where their strength is not stronger than that of adult men in general and because they themselves have no sense and just move following their instincts makes them very easily defeated even by ordinary people who do not have the ability to fight as long as they do not care.even so there are things to note about them, where they always live as a group makes the danger they cause increase. But the problem would be very different if the one that appeared was not an ordinary goblin.

"There's goblins....

A shout sounded from outside to warn all the entourage, it seemed as if the shout came from the mercenary who was hired as a bodyguard on this trip.

" You look calm even though there's a monster outside "

I spoke to Gaston because he looked ordinary as if there were no problems at all, maybe it was because he believed strongly in the mercenary abilities he had hired.

A mercenary who sat at the front of the group narrowed his eyes while looking ahead and in the distance saw a group of green dwarf creatures approaching towards them.

The command of a mercenary who was their leader and followed that order was one of them shouting.

And that's how the whole group stopped for a while while as they took care of the goblins.

" Everyone is ready to fight"

The captain shouted at his members to prepare, although all of his members did as he commanded but they took him not too seriously and were relaxed.

"If it's the captain, it's just a group of goblins, we can handle it easily"

"That's right, captain, there's nothing to worry about"

Even though what the members said was true but there was an unpleasant feeling that he was feeling right now, moreover there were usually no monsters on the road that they were passing right now.

After some time they managed to find out all the goblins without anyone getting hurt between them even though they were dripping with sweat because they had to work a little hard.

The number of oara monsters was much less than the previous goblins was even less than their own number but the strength of the monsters exceeded what they could overcome. It flashed through his mind to run away together with his members but his conscience did not let him do so because there were still many people they had to protect, he said, besides if they run now there will be punishment from the guild for them and if they run then no one else will want to hire them let alone master gaston always be kind to them. So the thought of escaping was already buried deep in his mind, and it seemed like the other members were thinking the same.

With that, they strengthen their determination to fight but the difference in strength cannot be overcome by just making a determination.

One of them shouted very loudly because he was hit by the monster and as a result he was thrown towards the train and finally fainted.

The other members were not too much different, some of them had fallen in a short time. Even the thought of escaping that had previously been buried deep within began to rise again. It was all because of the feeling of despair they were feeling right now.

The captain managed to resist the monster's attack but he had deep wounds that were severe enough to make him vomit blood, even his hands seemed to be broken.

As he looked back where the voice came from he saw a little boy wearing a mask. It was the same child they had seen before with master gaston. At first she felt saved because of the word she said but it was only part of her little hope that she quickly returned to reality.

"Hey, it's too dangerous that you can't face those Goblin Lords"

Although he tried to warn her, it was not discussed at all by her.

What a child can do against the monsters, it cannot even be done by an adult like him, but then all his thoughts are denied, he did not believe what he saw.....
