Chapter 21. Misunderstand

Zack, who wanted to see his daughter soon, immediately abandoned his intentions. He was standing next to the resto door. The sight before his eyes was very out of his estimation. What a very soothing sight.

She watched Emily and Lily from a distance. Her daughter was pampered with Lily. He never acted that way to Amber. Did Emily miss a mother's affection so much?. He said in his heart.

Across the restaurant is a cafe that only provides drinks and snacks. Zack decided to go there. He chose a strategic seat to see Emily and Lily. Two girls of different ages are very dear to her.

Zack just ordered the original. He doesn't like coffee very much. It doesn't mean he didn't drink it. Caffe latte is the choice this time. Just wanted to enjoy the soothing scenery of his mood. His heart began to heat up when he saw a man who began to remember him. The guy who was always near Lily.

The man was talking to two other people. After he looked carefully at them, they were wearing the same clothes. The clothes they were wearing were just ordinary casual clothes, but if two or more people already looked like uniform clothes.

It is very unlikely if they are twins or happy to wear twin clothes. Zack seemed to be thinking hard. The next moment he no longer cared.

He turned his gaze to Emily and Lily while sipping his drink. Zack chokes at Lily's slim-looking body. He started counting with his finger.

Is there a baby born in less than five months? Did she lose the baby? If so, it is impossible that now the situation is perfectly fine. Zack had a monologue in his heart.

He looked at the three men closely, especially a man close to Lily. Then she turned to Lily. He did it until his head pulsed.

He needs an explanation from Leon. The person she thought was responsible for her misunderstanding of Lily.

"Hello, sir." said Leon.

"I need an explanation from you" he said.

"The project in the equatorial city will be completed by the signing of Mr. Rafa, sir," Leon explained.

"That's not what I meant" said Zack.

Leon who was there was silent for quite a while. He thought hard, as far as all the information had been given to his master. No one is missed.

"Lily" added Zack.

"Ohh. What's wrong with Miss Lily, sir?" Leon asked back.

He started to feel angry with Leon.

"Have you given me all the information about Lily?" his tanyanya held back furiously. If only Leon was in front of him already he stuck his head many times.

The phone call came back silent for a moment. It's not usually Leon's thinking for very long. He was actually impatient to hear his explanation.

"Oh. I just remembered mister That time I had not finished my report, mister had cut off the phone," replied Leon.

"So what information am I left behind?" ask Zack growled.

"After giving Miss Lily vitamins, I followed her silently. From a distance I saw him walking towards the IGD. A woman was lying there. I also saw Mr. Rafa and one of the women who was probably his friend" Leon explained at length.

Leon sounded like he was taking a breath across there.

"I watched them for a long time until they came home. The pregnant vitamin turned out to be for her friend who was lying in a gurney. From the info I got, her name is Miss Naya Bailey. He also worked with Mr. Rafa as well as their best friend" Leon explained.

"So from this long talk of yours, the pregnant point is Naya, her best friend? Not Lily?" ask Zack.

"Yes sir. That's what I mean" replied Leon.

"****," Zack said.

He held a forehead with one hand. He felt angry at himself. How he's been wrong all this time. A sense of wrongness began to surround the recesses of his heart. As a result of not being able to control his emotions, that carelessness became a very fatal mistake.

"Is there anything left?" ask Zack after he got himself.

"Hmmm. Mr. Rafa gives three bodyguards to always look after Miss Lily and Miss Naya. For further reasons, I honestly don't know about it sir. Because you suddenly told me to stop watching Miss Lily" Leon said.

Hearing Leon's explanation made him directly stare at the three men earlier. Sure enough, his guess. That man was one of his guards. Without realizing it, he decided on his phone call.

Leon stared at his cell phone screen and only snorted in annoyance. "Again" he told himself.

Zack held back the turmoil in his heart. All mixed like a rocket ready to launch. She is a good woman, and always the best.

He wanted to get to her soon. Grabbing and holding him into his arms. Especially now that there's Emily in Lily's lap. Adding to his unbecoming feelings.

Lily and Emily are a complete puzzle piece. As if it were destined to complement each other. Two different generations of women whom he deeply cares for.

Zack tried to neutralize himself. Guilt haunted his mind. Everything that happened was his fault. It was her fault that she would rather sacrifice her love. He has been weeding out a woman who is fiercely loyal to him just for the sake of breaking free from his mafia family, and building his own company.

Feeling the weight in his heart was so heavy, he leaned his head against the back of the chair. She tries to remember her initial encounter with Lily, and how she hurt her feelings with her mannerisms and speech.

He also recalled how he was so visibly protective of Amber and verbally confessed to her 'my wife'. He never considered Amber his wife. The wife's status is only on paper and legally official. She had already given birth to a little princess for him, making the status of a wife even more inherent in him.

In fact, she is not a good wife and mother to herself and Emily. He only pretends to love Zack, just for the sake of his economic satisfaction.

To be blamed is not Amber's fault. The most responsible for all of this is his father.

Zack tried to think clearly and did not want to dissolve in his regrets. He decided to stop blaming others.

He got up from his seat. His determination can no longer be denied. He wanted to take back what he had left behind. Lily is his, and forever will always be his. Her main goal right now was to grab Lily back to her side.
