Chapters 19. Wrongfully

Amber asks Zack to pick her up at the mall. Zack is forced to pick her up because Emily is currently ill. He also wants to see Amber's sincerity with Emily. He asked Amber to wait at the mall door. He was too lazy to get in the car.

When Zack picks up his phone, he wants to tell Amber that his car is coming soon. Zack's gaze turned forward, where Amber was standing. His concern was not Amber, but a very beautiful looking girl standing behind Amber.

His heart immediately warmed to see his face again. The warmth of her heart disappeared when she saw a man she saw this morning standing not far from Lily.

Zack didn't get to contact Amber. He parked his car in the parking lot outside. Just as he was halfway towards Amber, he saw Lily deliberately bumping into Amber. He immediately ran and tried to hold Amber's body so as not to fall even worse.

His anger was growing when he saw Lily who was embraced by the man who had been with him. His feelings and actions are currently working together. He grabbed Lily by the arm, and even warned her again. He hated what he said so easily.

The man clasped his arm back and threw it very roughly. His actions further provoked his anger. But Zack realized he was now in a public place, and almost caught everyone's attention. Not wanting to be the subject of the crowd's spectacle, the two immediately embraced Amber's waist and took her away from there.

Zack and Amber were in the car. Zack looked so angry that Amber did not dare to say a word.

In less than thirty-five minutes, they had arrived at the mansion.

"I want you to pay a little attention to Emily. He's sick" Zack ordered.

Amber who was about to get out of the car immediately paused her intention.

"As before. I'll pay my attention to him if you touch me." Amber said no.

Amber got out of the car and slammed the door shut.

"****," Zack said.

He slapped both of his hands on the wheel.

"Your choice is absolutely perfect, Dad," Zack grumbled. He got out of the car and slammed it.

The atmosphere of the mansion was currently quiet. There's no babbling from little Emily. Although only three years old, Emily was already fluent in speech. English and Indonesian are the two languages spoken.

Zack walked into the mansion. His footsteps were very echoing. He climbed the stairs to Emily's room. Emily's door opened slowly. Her nanny was so alert, she was always next to Emily. The two maids who were assigned to accompany them were also very alert. The two maids serve the needs of Emily and her Nanny.

Nanny stood up, giving Zack some distance. He then walked out and coded his two servants to follow him out.

Zack sits next to Emily's little body. The infusion hose is still stuck in his right hand. His heart was so painful to see his little daughter lying sick. Plus the woman did not visit Emily at all.

Which mother is very hearty with her own child, he said slowly while gently stroking his daughter's forehead. In his rabbis slowly frown his daughter. The heat on his body had already subsided. At least he could feel more relieved.

He stood up and pressed his daughter's blanket. A warm kiss was landed on his beloved daughter's forehead. Emily seemed to move a little but did not wake her up.

Seeing that his daughter was asleep, he put his foot out.

"Don't let Amber go inside" Zack ordered.

He had already decided not to give Amber a chance. For the past three years, it's always been her who's asked Amber to keep an eye on Emily. He was determined, that was Amber's last chance. The last chance ended a few minutes ago.

Zack entered his study. He took the whiskey from his storage cabinet and drank it without first pouring it into a glass. After a few sips, he placed the whiskey bottle on the table.

The sky tonight was darker than usual. Zack took his foot out onto the balcony. Opening curtains and windows. The night air touched her rough skin. It's cold in there. It was a pity that the coldness did not reach his hot heart. So he had to unbutton his shirt to reveal the front of his perfect body.

The moonlight tonight looks so much brighter. Zack looked at him for a long time. You know, you're like the moon. The longer in view makes my heart comfortable without causing eye pain. Zack spoke as if looking at someone he missed.

"I want Daddy, Nana." ask Emily for her nanny. When little Emily just started learning to talk, she couldn't say the word nanny. He could only call Nana. Finally the affectionate call 'Nana' for her nanny continues until now.

"Alright, baby, but you have to finish your breakfast first" said the nanny.

Emily nodded slowly. He complies with her nanny's request. For her, her nanny was everything. She knew her mommy was Amber. Unfortunately, it's just for the nanny.

Nanny tells one of the servants to tell Mr. Zack if Emily is looking for him. The waiter immediately nodded and immediately walked out.

Zack enters Emily's room while giving her best smile.

"Em misses, Dad." he said spoiled.

Zack approaches her and grabs her into his arms.

"Dad misses you too dear" Zack replied as he carried her

"Look, dad! the hose is off" said Emily, showing her left hand that had been freed from the infusion tube.

Zack looked towards nanny asking for an explanation.

"The doctor visited at eight o'clock in the morning, sir, and has checked the state of the lady. The results of the examination are so good that the lady does not need any more infusions. All the lady needs right now is a complete break, sir." explains nanny.

"Gee... Great daughter dad," praise Zack.

"Because Em's smart, Em can play in the mall, dad." asked Emily.

Her face is so cute when she starts asking for something.

"May." said Zack.

"Yeah... Nana listen, we can play in the mall, "he shouted excitedly.

"But not now" added Zack.

Emily immediately pouted hearing her daddy ban. Seeing his daughter who was pouting spontaneously made him pinch the grim second cheek of hers.

"Aw.. Daddy's sick," whined Emily.

"Daddy doesn't forbid you from playing. But you just recovered. It was exactly one day" Zack said, pointing a finger at Emily.

Emily holds her hand day.

"That's a little sign huh, dad?" ask Emily.

"Yes, that's a little bit" replied Zack.

Emily slowly opens Zack's fingers one by one while asking if this has been a lot or not. Until Zack's five fingers open.

"If this, dad?" ask Emily the fourth time.

"Yes, this is new" Zack replied, tickling Emily's stomach with her five perfectly open fingers.

Ha. ha...

Emily and Zack's laughter echoed throughout her room. Nanny and the two servants laughed. Except for Amber standing in front of Emily's door.
