BLAM!
Joko shut the car door. The teenage boy waved at Raka and Robin in the car, but when they wanted to get away from the place there was a middle-aged woman wearing thick glasses with old-fashioned European clothes knocking on the car window. Robin tried to push the button to bring the window down.
"Good morning sir, are you Joko's parent or guardian?" ask the woman.
"Yes?" answer Raka.
"Can I talk to you for a second?"
Raka sees Robin thinking for a moment to choose yes or no. Actually this was not the first time the old woman had asked him to talk about Joko, every single old woman that approached them would definitely run away from him. But the day they could not run anymore by forced Raka out of the car that the old woman had been waiting for.
"Hurry up, I have to attend an important meeting" Raka said.
"Let's follow me." Bring along.
Raka turned to look at Robin, the bespectacled man waved his hands like a sissy who wanted to get acquainted with the handsome man he wanted, Raka put on a sullen face not accepting this all.
Actually this is not a problem for him, because he knows Joko is his responsibility now, he must accept all the mischief of the child no matter how he does it to his school friends. Raka knows this isn't easy. Senior High School yes, currently the teenager has entered the final stage to denounce education, a little more. A little more Raka's job was completed when Joko was already growing up for college.
"I'm sorry we asked you to come here, but it's serious. I'm-"
"Just to the point, I'm busy" said Raka cutting off the speech of the old woman sitting in front of him.
"There will soon be a Mett Class, I hope you are here to support son Joko. Since I noticed you never supported the boy, is there a personal matter?" ask the old woman.
Raka looked at him for quite a while, thinking of answering all the questions from the old lady in front of him.
...~*~...
BLAM!
Robin looked at Raka's arrival.
"How's it?" robin asked curiously.
Raka took a deep breath. "Can you find someone to accompany him to the Mett class?" ask Raka.
"Gee, it looks like it's already starting graduation."
"Yes, and I don't like attending."
"Why not, you have to take full responsibility for the child, his guardian and foster parents" Robin explained.
Raka tried to look out from behind the car window, listening to Robin's every chatter even though he didn't actually notice the glasses guy. It is so hard to be a foster parent for Joko, especially he has never felt the feeling of having a child or being a father.
...~*~...
Devi tried to tidy up all the documents arranged in sequence carefully he tried to check one by one year the document. But his gaze was distracted when he heard the sound of the door opening, Devi turned her head, looking clearly Raka with a slightly sour look on her face.
"Sounds there's a problem with him?" Inner Devi, he continued his work.
Raka realized that.
"All right." With a weight he tried to get up from his comfortable backrest, walking towards Devi's private room.
Geck! Geck!
Devi justifies her glasses, trying to see who dares to bother her who is busy working, when she finds out who, Devi can only keep looking at Raka for quite a while.
"Do you need anything?" ask Devi.
"Do you have any end of the month events?" raka asked a little hesitant to ask something sensitive like this. "no? All right, then." Want to get out of that place.
"I haven't answered sir." said Devi a little annoyed.
Raka turned back. "Say quick." Folding both hands pretend not to need Devi's help.
But Devi is not as stupid as she used to be with it, she has now changed herself quite well she understands the little movements of this Raka-like man. "But it doesn't seem like you need my help, I can't offer myself up" Devi said no less smartly.
"Why are you here?" tanya Devi cut off Raka's speech.
"I want you to come." added Raka hurriedly walking towards her desk.
Devi was silent for a moment to digest Raka's words just now and as she was patient. "What!!" Looking at Raka. The man waved his fingers. Devi bravely tries to meet Raka.
"What does that mean?" devi asked disapprovingly of Raka's sudden decision like that.
"Did I not clearly tell you?" ask Raka back.
"But that's not part of the job?" ask Devi.
"Indeed, but I'll consider it part of the job, you take it easy. I have taken care of everything well." explained Raka proudly.
Devi pouting. "Well, if that's what you want, I'll do it,"
"OK." answered Raka.
"With Robin."
Raka saw Devi. "Why should I be with him?" ask Raka.
"Because I'm sure the parents will come and there's no way I'm alone taking care of the child" Devi explained.
"All right, I'll tell him" said Raka.
Devi rattled off, why did Raka again call herself "I" instead of "I" again. Devi smile. "All right." Back to his study.
Unbeknownst to Devi, Raka secretly noticed Devi who was busy checking a report on the document, the man heaved a sigh.
......~*~......
Devi tries to look at the wall clock, showing at 12 noon the sign of lunch break, but the person Devi is waiting for does not come to pick up with her own initiative Devi tries to meet Ajeng.
Arriving there Devi was very disappointed because today Ajeng did not enter work.
"Searching someone?" ask a woman.
"Well, it looks like what people are gossiping about is true" said another female employee.
Devi was not so eager to look for trouble, she chose to leave them of course it became their talk when Devi completely left where she stood.
His steps came to a halt as Raka and Robin walked out of the study.2 The man saw Devi's arrival.
"Why is your face like that?" ask Robin.
"Ajeng doesn't go to work" said Devi.
"You talk." said Robin.
The question mark for Devi did not understand what Robin meant.
"Come, have lunch with us." Take Robin.
Seeing Robin's courage made Raka uncomfortable.
"Robin are you being sent to the Mett class?" devi asked as they lined up to take the tray.
Robin understood what Devi was saying, apparently his young boss did not have the courage to tell Devi the truth, he smiled faintly.
"Yes, do you want to accompany me?" ask Robin.
"If you can't, don't!" raka's sudden protest was there. Robin, who was supposed to open her voice, closed her lips again.
Devi sees Robin asking what happened to Raka, the man just glances at her face to know nothing.
