Chapters 87. Proposing

Alden came in at exactly seven in the evening. Mama Kinanti. The woman smiled with her daughter's lover. He hoped Aqila's marriage was not like her.

Aqila and Alden will marry because they are in love, in contrast to her who is married because of matchmaking and reciprocity. Kinanti hopes her daughter gets a man who can make her queen in their hearts as well as in their household.

Ten minutes waiting, Aqila came out of her room. Looks really pretty.

Alden views without blinking. The man immediately took her away after saying goodbye to Mama Kinanti. No less than Aqila, that man is also very handsome tonight.



Alden is planning to propose tonight to his girlfriend, Aqila. He rented a cafe to surprise her. Alden makes the cafe a very romantic place. There's only the two of them later.

"Honey, where are we going to dinner? Tumben uses the secret of all," said Aqila spoiled. It's not usually Alden to hide their dinner spot.

"I want to surprise you. If I say now. That's not the surprise of his name" Alden replied.

"Later you'll know too, sweetie." Alden replied.

Alden was running his car at a moderate speed. Throughout the journey Aqila's right hand was always within his grasp. Arriving at one of the famous cafes in the city where they live, Alden closed his lover's eyes.

"Why do I have to close my eyes, Al?" ask Aqila

"Stop asking, honey, just enjoy the surprise I'm going to give you" Alden replied.

The man got out of the car, opened the door for the lover. Alden faithfully led Aqila into the cafe which had been decorated as beautifully and seromantically as possible.

He pulled out a chair for Aqila to sit down. "Don't open it before I get an order from you" whispered Alden slightly lowered his head.

"It will make you and me happy" Alden replied.

The man coded the waiter who had been trained this morning for the smooth running of the surprise event. Alden wants everything to go smoothly because today is a special day for him as well Aqila. He's gonna propose to his sweetheart. This is all Randi's idea.

"Al ..," called Aqila to feel Alden's hand sitting before her.

Still with her eyes closed, Aqila turned her head to and fro looking for where the romantic music came from and pierced the recesses of the heart. He could not wait to open his eyes.

"Alden ...."

Alden did not say, the man crouched in front of his lover while holding a very beautiful ring box. He was already impatient to see Aqila's reaction.

"Open your eyes, baby!" Alden's orders.

Just as Aqila opened her blindfold, she was presented with a very beautiful sight. Behind Alden the rose flower arrangement reads: ‘WILL YOU MARRY ME AQILA KHALEESY?’. The candles are arranged in such a way as to add to the romantic atmosphere tonight.

Aqila shut her mouth in disbelief seeing the surprise Alden gave her. Especially when you hear the words that come out of the lover's mouth.

"Most people say the cure for falling in love is getting married. And now I'm in love. Aqila, will you be the medicine to fall in my love? In this heart is only your name, but what does it mean if it is not your name written in our marriage book."

Aqila grabbed Alden's hand to stand up. "I'm so happy with the surprise you gave me, I didn't expect you'd propose to me tonight, honey," Aqila said softly.
