49. Meet Alex Again

Before arriving at his grandmother's house, Edo stopped for a while at one of the clothing stores on the side of the road. He wanted to buy some clothes for his grandmother.

The car Edo was riding in stopped in front of the store and quickly and passionately dropped after giving some fare to the driver.

"Thank you, sir," he said very kindly. Edo also smiled to show his hospitality to the person.

"Together, Deck. Thank you too," he replied kindly as well, he also smiled after receiving money from Edo. "Come, son."

Soon the car returned to running after Edo withdrew from the car, seeing the departure of his car which is now getting further away. Edo slowly flipped over and rushed into the store as if waving to call him.

Edo was so excited, he had already thought about whatever he was going to buy. He should be able to choose the one that would be liked by Ratih the grandmother.

With complete confidence Edo stepped back, getting closer to the servant until finally stopping right in front of him.

"Sister, I want to buy this" said Edo. Give some of those clothes to the waiter.

"Big brother why?" ask Edo. The servant was so flabbergasted that his sense of insecurity had now changed with shock.

"Ti-no," he replied with a stutter, his head also shaking because he was so awkward. Ignoring his embarrassment the waiter immediately wrapped the clothes he had chosen. Edo immediately gave a sum of money to pay for it.

"Thank you for being different here" he said.

"Yes, thank you too, brother." Edo nodded and his hand immediately grabbed the paper bag.

This is the spirit and joy of Edo after getting everything he will give to his grandmother. There were some clothes and also food he had bought them.

The distance that is not so far makes Edo choose to walk. Every now and then he would look at the road and occasionally would see what was in his hands.

"Hopefully grandma will be happy" he murmured. His face was so bright.

Just now he raised his face and saw the road that was in front of him he saw the bullies in his old school. Alex and some of his friends.

Edo's steps gradually slowed down, he was so hesitant to walk to get closer to them. Of course because he remembers everything they did before.

There was fear in Edo's heart, but he had to be sure that nothing would happen. Edo was silent for a moment and was about to walk after, but his arm was pushed straight by Alex and made Edo back backwards.

"Where are you going, why so much of a hurry. We haven't seen each other in a long time, have you missed us?" alex asked, his voice cold.

Edo silently did not answer, he even lowered his head.

"Eh, what are you carrying? Hem, here give it," Alex asked. His hand was about to grab what Edo had brought.

"Don't" Edo's hand immediately put away Alex's hand that had touched just now.

"You're against me? Give it!" alex's voice sounded angry. Yep! As usual, he did not accept rejection. Whatever he wants he has to get.

"No," Edo shook his head. He had no intention of resisting but he only wanted to defend what belonged to him. Clothes, food and money, that's what they want.

"Bad!" Alex is really angry. He was about to hit Edo but did not realize Edo's hand was raised and managed to stop the movement of his hand.

"Haha!" Their laughter boomed with a shrill cry as they began to step away, they wanted to leave after getting what Edo had brought. Of course, they were also very satisfied because they had managed to beat Edo after a long time they did not do.
