Trash Like I Have New Body Goals
21. Talking With Train

~~`~~

Not only did Ratih look so surprised and confused, but Edo who just came home from school more. He was nervous as well as his body that felt instantly stiff to move. Looking at his grandmother who had already come before him than he who came home.

'Grandmother,' Inner Edo. There is happiness but there is also fear. His heart was so exclaimed it was so happy to see his grandmother that he looked without blinking. Edo was so washed away in the face of his grandmother who was so soothing, of course, he was also very much missed.

"Who are you?" ask Ratih. Staring fixedly at Edo who had a very handsome face and stood in the doorway did not dare to step in.

"Well!" Edo gasped for a moment. All the attention that was in his head collapsed due to a fleeting question from Ratih. Edo was very confused as to what he should say. How does he explain everything that happened?

'Wawat! How'this?' inner Edo again. He's really confused. Like no idea to talk.

Ratih frowned to see Edi who was silent, he took the initiative to stand up. "Who are you?" Back to the coach asked. Is it possible that he's the man who's going to bother Edo, his granddaughter?

"Hem, sa-me?" Edo was silent for a moment, looking for what reason was right and would not raise suspicion on Ratih.

Ratih is still faithfully waiting for an answer from Edo. He remained fixedly staring despite occasionally looking towards his grandson who was lying soundly asleep.

'How about this, I can't possibly explain it to grandma. I also couldn't possibly wake my fat body in front of grandma. Damnit damnit! How can I change the body like this?' again Edo just sat.

"Sa-my? I'm Naufal, Edo's roommate," he replied, which was obviously a lie. Edo smiled as he scratched his own nape to relieve his nervousness. Clearly, he must be able to look convincing.

"Oh, Edo's friend. Why didn't you say that from earlier? Grandma thinks you're the guy who's gonna bother her." Ratih smiled, but there was a sense of relief in his heart because it turned out that his thinking was wrong.

"I'm his grandmother, Edo." Patricia introduced himself. He looks so friendly to Edo who claims his name is Naufal.

"Hem, it turns out Edo was right. Grandma was really like Edo told me so much. Beautiful grandma," he praised.

"Ah, you could. Grandma's old, there's no way grandma's pretty." Ratih smiled shyly with blushing cheeks. He thought a handsome man Naufal aka Edo would insult him because of his circumstances which were unlike others who only worked inside the house.

"Sir, how about we just get out? We can talk outside. If you're afraid to disturb Edo's sleep here." he suggested.

Ratih turned to Edo, actually he really wanted to meet and talk a lot with his granddaughter also asked the situation, but seeing Edo who looked so sound was very sorry if he woke up.

"Hem, okay." Finally, he took advice from Edo. He started to step out and Edo followed after.

*****

In the restaurant that Edo used to go to, that's where Edo and Ratih are now. Edo patiently embraced Ratih, treating her like his own grandmother and making Ratih feel so flattered.

Edo's attention as well as all of his behavior were exactly the same as that of the fat Edo, how could he not be flattered?

"Thank you, son." Trained to look at him after sitting on the chair. Smiling so sweetly seeing Edo who introduced himself as Naufal was also going to sit before him.

"No need to worry, Grandma. Let's just say I'm grandma's granddaughter too." she replied. In her heart she was beating herself.

'consider it? You are indeed the grandson of Ratih's Grandmother, Edo!' his inner.

"Grandmother why?" ask Edo again. It looks strange to see a different Ratih than the one before.

"Grandmothers rarely eat in a place like this, son. Grandma was tense," whispered Ratih, turning to her right and left after seeing Edo.

Edo smiled, his grandmother is so funny.

"Grandmothers usually eat at home with Edo. Grandma always cooks herself instead of coming to a place like this. Besides being more economical, it can also cook according to taste." Ratih.

"It's okay, Grandma. Just calm grandma, don't be tense. Let's just say grandma eats at home."

"Hem," Ratih could only smile. His heart remained very strange to feel sitting in a place that he thought was very luxurious. Far from his habits.

**

Staring at his simple order and that was the favorite of Ratih. Eggplant stir-fry and also egg soup.

"Th-this?" Ratih was so confused in disbelief. How can this child he just met can know his Favorites. Is it just a coincidence or is it?

"Edo is often told about grandmothers, so I know a little bit about grandmothers, hehe," his white teeth were displayed by Edo. Obviously he would say that.

"Ah that kid, grandma thought...?"

"What grandma thinks, don't think strange. Now we eat." said Edo with a bright face. It is ready and directly serves Ratih, get rice and also side dishes.

"Here, Grandma." Edo.

"Thank you, son. You're even bothered because of grandma."

Edo shook his head, there was no way he felt bothered because the little thing he did now had no meaning whatsoever compared to all the sacrifices of Ratih who cared for him until now. "No."

In the middle of the meal, Ratih talked so much. He recounted Edo's past which was so sad he thought. Although Edo never said it directly but he knew what happened.

Ratih's eyes are more dewy, until finally pooled and burst out just like tears when telling everything that happened to Edo. Everyone thought that whatever was in Edo was a flaw and also something disgusting, but not in the eyes of Ratih.

"For grandma, everything Edo has is an advantage. But his friends do not consider it that way until he always gets something bad" said Ratih while telling stories.

"Everybody looked down on him. They treated Edo like shit." Ratih is getting sobbing.

Edo kept silent, in his heart he just thought where did his grandmother know all that?

"Both of his parents had died when he was a child, only his grandmother had always been with him. Grandma only had him, and so did she. There's only a grandmother as his family." Ratih Imbuh.

So much of Ratih talking. Everything in his heart he put out in front of Edo.

Edo was so moved, his eyes also began to dew because of all the stories from Ratih but with all his strength Edi held him back so as not to slide. But, in his heart, Edo was so screaming, his heart felt so sick.

The grief that he had been feeling and also he was hiding was known by Ratih. He was silent never told a story, Edo thought Ratih did not know it, but in fact?

Even though they kept talking, their food was still running out. Train stopped his story and rushed home.

"Son, can grandma bring home Grandma's drink?" tanyakanya.

Edo who was still in the newness immediately turned his head and saw the Ratih drink that was still intact. He did not drink it as usual. Edo knew that very well, Ratih did not drink it when he went to the restaurant even though only occasionally.

Edo nodded slowly, holding still for a while before his reply was spoken. "Can." Edo's tears were so unstoppable, it felt like the waves were ready to hit, but still Edo did not let out.

"Grandmother please, always help Edo, never oppress him like what he used to get. Grandma knows you're a good boy." Ratih's voice was so begging. His voice was also still trembling withstanding the sorrow that had now started to diminish.

"And this, there's some money. Please accept, son." Train directly pulled Edo's hand, put the real money sheet on him.

Edo was so shocked, he gasped to refuse but Ratih's hand was already holding it tightly and moved the money in Edo's hand.

"Miss, this?"

Ratih just smiled as well nodded.
