Trapping the Mate

Trapping the Mate
MJ - Giselle is Different

This morning, Kalina was officially in Dion's editing. Among the many people present at their wedding, Galendra was the loudest.

Kalina shook her head. He should have cried, but now he was busy calming his sister who had not stopped crying even after fifteen minutes.

"Gal dong. Married mother, not kidnapped."

If Kalina knew, what Galendra saw in the future was far worse than being kidnapped. Well, even if kidnapped is not a good thing.

"Let's just, when else can we see him cry." Dion who was standing by Kalina's side chimed in while holding back his laughter.

Galendra glanced sharply, throwing a hostile look. "Just watch out for you when it comes to my mother's illness. Remember what I said yesterday-"

"Yes yes, I mean it used to be a million if you want to hurt Kalina."

Kalina frowned, looking questioningly at her husband.

"Said Gale , before hurting you I have to take a million to get tired first before getting angry or hurting you." Dion added his chuckle at the end of the sentence.

Kalina screeched then gently hit her sister's arm that was still enjoying the rest of her crying.

"Mom! I just want you to be happy!" Galendra held on next to his arm that had just been hit.

Kalina looked fixedly at her sister's face, then further slashed the distance to hug the little sister whose body was bigger than her.

"Don't worry, Ma'am will be happy" he said.

For some reason , the fact that Galendra warned Dion to never hurt her , only made her heart hurt. He should have been the one to look after Gale , he should have been the one to ensure Gale's happiness. Since both of his parents died, his sister suddenly became very mature and acted like a brother rather than a sister.

"Promise? Don't cover anything from me Ma'am. If Dion-"

"Mas Gal, Mas!" Kalina glared at her sister.

Galendra. "Yes, I mean if Mas Dion is sick with Ma'am, say the same to me. Don't cover anything up, Ma'am!" not forgetting he glanced resentfully at his best friend who was now his sister-in-law.

"Please Deck , this Masmu will be nice and never hurt your Ma'am." Dion chuckled realizing the sharp plotting of his sister-in-law.

"Here you are, mending me to eat." Galendra moved away towards the toilet to wash her face.

In the toilet, Galendra stared at his own face in the large mirror that was there. Scroll on his face, surely people thought it was the remains of water used to wash his face. Only Galendra knows, on the face it sticks more tears than tap water.

Okay, one fate has already begun. Sister Kalina is already married, I just have to mastiin this marriage is far from the reach of Giselle.

In the evening Galendra visits Giselle's house. Go straight into the terrace and knock on the main door of the house because the fence was not in the key.

Let's just say he's not sane. Tired of the party that lasted all day, instead of rest he even visited the house of people he did not know too well.

"Doc?" Cleopatra was shocked when she opened the door.

Galendra scratched his non-itchy nape while smiling brightly. "Sorry I'm visiting at this hour, Giselle is Cle?"

Cleo bertehem. He was still sad but Galendra like not joking with his words yesterday , he wanted them to be more relaxed.

"Get in, I'll call Giselle first." Cleopatra opened the door wider but the man refused.

"I'm here." Galendra approached the left side of the porch and dropped his butt in the chair.

"Have the show finished?"

No, it wasn't Giselle who asked but Cleopatra. Giselle just sat down, then mute. As if his presence alone was enough to honor the guests who came, it did not need to speak, right?

Galendra looked at Cleo. "That's tape. Good thing you didn't come, sure bosen." Galendra turned her eyes to look at Giselle with a smile. I hope the girl will repay him. But again Giselle just turned her head for a while and then looked back at her own fingers.

"I'm sorry Gal. Giselle's not feeling well today." Cleo answered.

This morning, Galendra kept her word to pick up Giselle. The words that the girl thought to be a joke. Finally Giselle reasoned ill so could not attend Galendra's sister's wedding.

"It's okay. Is she healthy now?" Galendra did not give up, she continued to spark conversation with Giselle. "I brought this cake from my mother's wedding. Very nice, you know, it's hard to buy it must be PO because it's selling." Galendra chuckled while pushing the paperbag she had brought to get closer to Giselle. He does not lie, cake is indeed being targeted by everyone lately.

"Thank you, Doc." Giselle finally opened her voice after she had just been quiet.

Galendra frowned while pursing her lips. "And I told you, Gale."

"Where can it be. That's not so-"

"You're not my patient." Galendra cut Giselle's words quickly and showed off a disappointed look.

"Sister Gale." Giselle lowered her head, her voice sounding soft. "I call you Brother Gale."

Galendra sumringah, he glanced slightly at Cleopatra who shook her head. "OK deal. Then I go home, don't forget to eat the cake."

Galendra walked out of the courtyard after a short goodbye, and looked back for a while before actually passing by his car.

Cleopatra, who folded her arms around her chest, shook her head. That guy, really wants to get close to Giselle?

"Gi, why is Doctor Gale so good? There's no way it's just because you're a suicide patient."

Giselle did not answer, just looking at her cousin's brother who now occupies the chair Galendra was sitting in.

"She seems to have a crush on you."

"Ck." Giselle pissed off. Galendra was attracted to him, it was the dumbest thought. Why is it that young and handsome doctors like Galendra are attracted to ordinary girls whose circumstances are very chaotic when they first meet.

"Why ck? You're beautiful, you-"

"Sister! Don't look at me like I used to. Giselle is beautiful, fashionable, rich, and a popular coed. That Giselle doesn't exist" he said.

Cleopatra took her breath. He crouched down in front of Giselle and clasped the girl's hand.

"You're still the beautiful and jolly Giselle. What if we are not rich anymore? What if you had to go back to college this year?"

Cleopatra looked at Giselle's already teary eyes. Giselle a year ago, was the perfect Giselle. Beautiful, rich, and popular even though the war is not too good. But for Cleo it didn't matter, some teenagers did.

Until tragedy takes it all. Giselle is now, not the old Giselle.

Giselle lowered her head, looking at Cleo who was looking up still clasping her hands.

"What happened a year ago didn't just turn me into a pauper, brother. But also the daughter and sister of the murderer." he replied again, with tears spilling.
