"Ze, listen to Mama" said Aluna, "I know you're lonely. Mama will invite Sindi and her family to dinner together. How do you like it?"
Zero smiled happily. Hearing Sindi's name, the boy immediately forgot his request. Zero was immediately enthusiastic and asked when they would have dinner with the Sindi family.
"Come on, Mama take her to the room now. Looks like you're already so tired, Ze."
Alvin replied with a faint smile. Occasionally glanced at him while thinking of a reward for Zero. In his mischievous brain was already full of wild imaginations.
"Alright, I'll wait for you in the room after this, Luna," said Alvin half-temptingly.
Aluna did not care and pretended not to see. From the look of her husband's eyes alone, she had guessed nothing about the man's thoughts.
"When will I meet Sindi, Mama?" asked Zero again when they were already lying together on the bed.
"Quickly, mama will set free time so as not to clash with work time," replied Aluna, "what do you want a fairy tale, Ze? Mama will read it to you."
Zero picks up a storybook and shows her which story her mother wants to read. "Mama, read me the story of Hansel and Gretel."
Aluna grabs Zero's storybook, about to read the story after she puts a blanket on Zero's body. "Pray before you go to sleep, Ze. Ask God for protection so that you can survive the afterlife."
Zero nodded and began to pray according to his beliefs. After that Aluna began to read the fairy tale of her son's choice.
"Hansel and Gretel are two smart and wise children. When the two are left in a forest by his stepmother, Hansel drops a pebble along the way to mark his way home. They did it so they could go home and see their father again. The two of them are abandoned in the forest, until one day they meet an evil witch. The wise Hansel and the clever Gretel use their cleverness to escape from the witch."
Aluna continued to tell her story from the beginning until Zero completely fell asleep. In the middle of the story Zero asks if there are witches who kidnap children in the real world. Aluna answered 'there' while giving directions so that Zero is always vigilant and careful to anyone.
"Don't panic, Zero. If you can't fight a criminal with your strength, use your brain to think," Aluna said as she rubbed Zero's head, "and one more, don't forget to pray! Mama and papa will keep looking after you."
Zero nodded. He put in his mother's words. Keep telling him to be careful of anyone.
"Good night, Ze. Have a good dream."
Ten minutes later, Zero's eyes were completely shut. From his breath it was already seen that the boy was already sound asleep. Aluna tidied up the blankets properly so that Zero did not feel cold.
I'm sure you'll be a smart and wise boy. Someday you will know my secret. May you understand, inner Aluna. Then he closed the door and went back to his room.
...***...
"Good night my beautiful witch. Now it's my turn not to sleep" said Alvin, winking one eye.
Aluna turned on the room lights. How shocked he was when he saw Alvin was ready to lie on a mattress with his chest open.
"Well!"
The shock of Aluna's expression was obvious. He even threw his face away while breathing. Doesn't she only have one child? Then why did he have to put one more person to sleep?
"I ... I'm so sultry. Want to take a shower first" said Aluna without turning her head in the least. Even walking straight to the bathroom.
"Then we take a bath together. I'm also very sultry."
"Well!"
Aluna was again shocked. Alvin's hands are now fully coiled in his stomach. Alvin put Aluna's hair together and kissed her nape gently. "Nothing's wrong, is it?" she whispered softly as she smeared her smell from behind.
"Al–"
Alvin smiled faintly. After they faced each other, Alvin did not want to waste this opportunity. Tilted his head slightly, then kissed Aluna gently.
(Skips)
"Drink this tea to warm you up."
Aluna grabbed the warm tea that Alvin had just made. Sip slowly after previously inhaling the aroma.
"So grandma came to see me," said Alvin, starting the conversation while helping to dry Aluna's hair.
"Let me just Alvin," said Aluna trying to reach for the hair dryer that Alvin was holding.
"Let me dry. Just drink the tea so that your body is warm" Alvin said. Alvin was afraid because they had lingered in the bathroom, could make Aluna cold and catch a cold.
"Grandma said what?"
Alvin's hands painstakingly dried Aluna's long hair. Tidying up strands by strands while talking to Aluna, "Grandma said, did I find a suitable change name for Zero."
Aluna had finished the tea, her hair was already dried. Wearing sleeping pajamas, the two switched places on the bed. Lean on the edge of the bed while talking about Zero.
"I still haven't agreed to change our son's name now" Aluna replied.
"Why?"
Aluna was silent while thinking for a moment. "I want friends at school to be friends with Zero not because there's a surname behind him. Let her be happy just being herself."
Alvin entrusted Zero's rights to Aluna. She was sure Aluna would give her son whatever was best. Even though he knew for sure his family was very angry. His grandmother and mother told him to change Zero's name and send the boy to a noble school. His family did not like their family members hanging out with ordinary people. Most of all, Zero had to attend an international-based school.
"Well I agree," said Alvin, "about the prize for Zero ...."
Alvin did not continue his words, seeing the change in expression on Aluna's face.
"Alvin, I can't! You know .. I." Aluna exhaled her rough breath. No matter how much Alvin asks, he won't grant it.
Aluna switched positions. Now he has been lying on his back to Alvin.Bad Aluna does not want to get carried away. From the beginning his goal was just for his sister and back to the real world. But again he can only resign and follow the plot created by the system.
"I know I still have Luna and she can give it to me later. But I'm not sure my feelings for you will be the same for her."
"You'll get used to it later, Alvin."
Alvin hugged Aluna's body tightly from behind. For some reason, he felt like time had stopped that very moment.
"Well, I'll try to love her."
Aluna closed her eyes but did not sleep. Still in Alvin's arms he thought. Recalling the diary piece of Luna yesterday. In the book, there are people who want to kill him.
Will Luna come back after I leave?
