TRAPPED IN THE NOVEL WORLD

TRAPPED IN THE NOVEL WORLD
Changing Restaurants

Dinner will begin soon. Aluna and Alvin deliberately came first to the restaurant that Aluna had booked before. They looked harmonious, Aluna wore a long golden cream dress, while Alvin wore a suit and shirt of matching color with the dress worn by Aluna.

"Welcome, good night, Mr and Mrs." The receptionist greeted the two of them.

"Good night" said Aluna, "can you help us show us the seats we have reserved?"

The receptionist checks on the computer the order number already on Aluna's reservation. "Can you name the order on whose behalf, Madam?" ask him to Aluna.

Aluna walked over to the reception desk. "We ordered a few hours ago on behalf of Alvin Wiratama" he replied.

The receptionist checked back on his computer. Unfortunately, their booking data was not found. "I'm sorry, from the data I saw. There are no reservations on behalf of Alvin Wiratama today. How about I order another time, ma'am?"

"Didn't Secretary Fang order it a few hours ago?" Aluna reassured the receptionist.

After checking for the second time, the data was not found.

"I'm sorry, we did not find any booking data on behalf of Mr. Alvin Wiratama" the receptionist said.

"Then may I order directly now an exclusive table in this restaurant?" Aluna said with a disappointed face.

"Sorry, Madam for our exclusive table booking is fully filled. If you want, I can order tomorrow."

Seeing the change in Aluna's expression, Alvin immediately approached her. He asked what had happened to Aluna, why was her face suddenly gloomy? Aluna replied there were obstacles with the reservation she made for this restaurant.

"I had Fang's secretary order this restaurant a few hours ago. He said the reservation was cancelled. Looks like we should ask Fang's secretary now," Aluna said.

Alvin called his assistant at that minute.

^^^"Hello, sir."^^^

"Did you cancel the reservation at the Algae Restaurant?" Alvin asked Fang's secretary on the phone.

^^^"Betul, Sir. Miss Helen's the one who inspired me to change it. Didn't Miss Helen tell Miss Luna straight away that the reservation was changed to Namelix Restaurant?"^^^

Alvin's face suddenly went sour.

"Helen doesn't work for me anymore! Why did you follow his advice?" ketus Alvin grumbled at once furious.

^^^"Pardon me sir. I think Miss Helen's advice is very good considering she has frequent meetings with Korean clients."^^^

"Unreliable!"

When the reservation was cancelled, the two of them returned to the car. It's free if they are in a restaurant if there is nothing they can order, considering the Hanggang Restaurant is a luxury restaurant that will only serve guests who have made reservations in advance.

"Do you know Namelix restaurant?" aluna asked her personal driver.

According to his personal driver, the restaurant that Aluna asked about was a Korean restaurant located in the far corner. The restaurant was adjacent to a roadside stall and very small, he hesitated to take his young lady there.

"Then I saw first on the Map what kind of restaurant did that cunning woman order?" Aluna then searched for information on her phone.

"True, the restaurant in question is a small cafe on the side of the road. I'm sure it's a sneaky way for Korean clients to feel disappointed and angry with me." Aluna said to Alvin. The man began to understand what Aluna's words meant, which he thought made sense.

Truly a cunning woman, Aluna grumbled inwardly.

Alvin began massaging his temples, leaning his back against the chair. She doesn't know where to take Mr. Dae Jung to anymore, while soon they'll be getting to the restaurant.

"I have an idea" said Aluna suddenly.

"What idea?" ask Alvin.

After Aluna informed her of the idea, she called Fang's secretary to take Mr. Dae Jung for a walk to the Korean food market. She advises Fang's secretary to stall dinner by taking Mr. Dae Jung around the market, so it happens that Alvin's friend who was appointed as a substitute translator came with her.

"Then after this what else are you going to do, Luna?" Alvin asked again.

Aluna smiled sweetly at Alvin, and then she explained the idea in her brain. "Let Fang's secretary take a walk first Mr. Dae Jung and some of his assistants. Let them choose their own food ingredients that are suitable and fresh in the market for buying and selling Korean food. After that we can get the villa chef to prepare the authentic ingredients they buy. I'll cook it for Mr. Dae Jung tonight." Aluna said at length explaining to Alvin.

Alvin is satisfied with the idea in Aluna's brain, although he himself is very doubtful that Aluna can cook. Because Alvin knows, Luna is the son of a spoiled rich man, never once cooking, let alone Korean cuisine.

"Luna, are you sure you can cook Korean food?" Alvin asked Aluna another question.

Aluna nodded in response with a smile. Of course it can, Aluna in the real world once worked in a Korean restaurant as an assistant chef. Although only a few months and not as a main chef, he knows a little how to make some local Korean cuisine.

"I've cooked it before, I'm sure it'll work 100% and promise it won't let you down." Aluna said while showing her little finger. "Wouldn't it be, if the president's wife who makes it directly will be an added value in serving clients?"

Hearing Aluna's explanation, Alvin is further amazed and convinced his wife will succeed. Alvin felt that his wife helped him a lot this time.

"Truely you said, Luna. Mr. Dae Jung would definitely be flattered to be given such preferential treatment. Thank you, Luna has helped me. I'll have the villa chef help you cook." Alvin hugged Aluna as his thanks.

I'm still a lot smarter than you, Helen.
