In the countryside near the mountains.
The forest was very thick and dark. Every now and then Zero felt some leaves falling on his body. Zero is now trying to walk in the dark relying only on the reflection of the full moon. His feet occasionally fumbled away the twigs that would hit his bare feet.
"Where else should I walk? Why aren't there any houses here?"
The weather that night was getting colder and gripping. Zero tried to rub his arm to slightly warm up his trembling body. Zero raised his head up the tree, there he saw some owls and monkeys making a very loud, earthy sound that almost eliminated the silence. Zero begins to realize that he is now in the forest.
"Please don't bother me" Zero said as he continued to step forward.
But without Zero noticing, the more the boy walked forward, there was a pair of eyes watching him from a distance of several meters. Apparently, the sound of Zero's footsteps managed to wake up a wild animal in the forest. The weather in the forest was very cold, so it made the beast even hungrier, especially when looking at the bait in plain sight.
"Should I not have run here earlier" Zero murmured regretfully.
Zero did not budge, he continued to step forward. He no longer knew where his feet should go. No matter what happened to him, he had to keep going until he found a shortcut.
"Krek, crick." There was the sound of teeth grinding as if chewing. From his loud voice, as if not from a human.
Zero was curious about the voice. He continued walking forward, until he was unaware he saw a terrifying sight not far from where he was standing.
"Wolf," said Zero trembling.
Apparently, in front of there was a wolf that was preying on his hunting monkey. It looks lifeless monkey with the part of the leg that has been torn because it was eaten. Zero began to come to his senses in a state of danger, retreated his steps, attempted to reverse course and ran away.
The srek!
However, the sound of Zero's hasty footsteps made the wolf turn towards him. His shiny eyes looked increasingly hungry, the wolf realized there was a more tender prey than a monkey who was in his prey now.
Run, I have to run fast, Zero said in his heart.
His feet suddenly trembled, wanting to run away immediately, but it felt as if they were glued to the spot. Moreover, looking at the red glint, the sharp eyes of the wolf, were about to pounce on him alive from the opposite direction. Two wolves were in love.
"Aargh!" Zero shouted loudly while closing his two eyes in fear.
The wolf in front had already jumped up high, already ready to prey on Zero right then and there. But who would have thought, behind Zero the other wolf jumped, was about to pounce.
Bruk! The two wolves fought and fought each other over their quarry. Zero saw the horror did not remain silent. He forced his feet to quickly get away from the two beasts.
Ascending, I must quickly ascend to the top of the tree, Inner Zero.
Zero ran fast, looking for a tall tree and had to climb it quickly. Luckily, not far from where the wolves were fighting, he found a tree that was quite shady.
Zero's tiny legs moved swiftly upwards. Despite being extremely thin, Zero's legs were extremely strong and agile. There were not five minutes before the wolf fight ended, he had already reached the top end of the tree, hiding behind the shade of the leaves.
It seems they don't see me, inner Zero.
While leaning his body on the tree, Zero tried to catch his still-stuffed breath. Even though he has not survived properly, at least now he can breathe freely.
The boy was hurt. As a result of climbing earlier, his leg was pierced by a sharp branch. Zero rubbed the blood on his leg, holding him back from falling because of his sobbing. Zero did not want to, the wolf knew his whereabouts above because of the drop of his blood that fell.
Two wolves realize their prey has escaped. However, they were still wandering below, sharpening all senses to detect Zero's existence. Two wolves were sure that Zero would not run far, still around them.
Having just breathed a sigh of relief, Zero realized that another danger was coming. He sees a black mamba snake feeling threatened by Zero's presence, and intends to peg it.
"Please don't poke me" Zero said softly.
Zero shifted his sitting position away from the snake. But the snake still felt threatened and continued to approach Zero, still wanting to peg it.
"Go, go!" snapped Zero.
In order to survive, Zero breaks a twig that he will use to repel the snake and manages to make it fall, right on one of the wolf heads.
The two wolves began to realize their hunt was on top of a tree. The soul of the animal hunter was very savage, not wanting its prey to run away, both of them climbed trees very quickly.
"Go, go!" yelled Zero in fear. He knew his life was on the edge of the horn.
"Go, my body is so thin, don't eat me," Zero shouted trying to climb up the tree even higher. He started using the twig earlier to drive away the wolves.
Unfortunately, facing the wolves wasn't as easy as Zero thought. One of the wolves managed to get close to Zero, preparing to prey on him alive.
"Please, please, whoever help me!" yelled Zero loudly.
Zero's screaming voice, successfully heard by Aluna. The woman brought the helicopter she was driving closer to the source of the sound. Not far away, Aluna saw the movement of leaves from a tree moving rapidly from above. Aluna was sure, there was something dangerous there.
"Look, the tree is moving," said Alvin.
Along with that, they again heard the screams of a boy. They were sure it was the voice of their son who was asking for help. Feeling in danger, unwilling to linger, Aluna decides to make a quick landing.
"Ze-zero," said Alvin quietly. He believed that the boy on the tree was his son.
The roar of the helicopter propeller scared the two wolves. The two ferocious beasts immediately ran down and away from the place.
Alvin's lips suddenly mute, unable to say anymore, he witnessed for himself how a boy was betting on saving his own life in the wild. And the child is his own flesh and blood.
"Our son is in danger."
The landing was perfect, the couple immediately came down. Alvin ran fast and immediately climbed a tree, he did not care about dirty taste or other dangers. All Alvin thought this time was to have to save Zero quickly.
But not with Aluna, the two wolves look increasingly hungry to see their more and more lures. Two wolves started to arrive again and approached Aluna who was still at the bottom.
"Dare to get close, I will kill you," said Aluna loudly.
