Trapped by the Passion of Two Mafia
01. A Medical Volunteer

Marinka enlists as a medical volunteer of a humanitarian organization. He enlisted as a volunteer to help evacuate civilian victims trapped in the conflict of civil war in a country. He felt called to help the innocent victims.

"Are you going to that place of conflict?" ask mama.

"So ma, tomorrow we leave." replied Marinka packing the books she would bring.

"When are you there?" ask her mother again.

"Ngga knows ma, maybe two months. It depends on the institution that is there, and also the delivery of help to replace me there. I'll be home after there's a replacement" Marinka said.

"Mama's happy you want to help others, but she's also afraid you're why-why Marinka" said her mother.

"Mama pray, may Marinka there well and can go home safely" Marinka said again.

When he finished, he put it in his suitcase. Tidying up the contents of the suitcase and closing it, since his mother noticed what Marinka did.

Marinka is no longer a father, died in the battlefield when he was assigned to a conflict country. His younger brother who just entered the police school last year, now only Marinka is in his mother's house.

It was hard to leave her mother at home. But only two months he was on duty, due to his high humanity. So Marinka wants to volunteer, she has permission from her office to volunteer.

His mother initially rejected Marinka's wishes, but Marinka insisted on joining. And inevitably have to accept it, his mother thinks let his son find experience outside. Although there was trauma with her husband's death first. She fears Marinka like her husband.

"Ma, don't worry. Marinka can take care of herself. Many friends there, and who jumped into the location of the search for the victim was male. The women served in the post and helped treat and care for the victims. That's what the committee said." said Marinka reassured her mother not to worry about her.

"Yes, mom knows. But mama is also still worried, baby, you keep yourself there. Don't forget to always pray with God for protection" said Marinka's mother.

"Yes ma. Yes, we slept. Tomorrow you want to see Arka in the barracks" said Marinka.

"Yes, tomorrow morning mama goes to the barracks. Your sister must be waiting for mama, do you want to come along before you go to work?" ask mama.

"Ngga ma, greetings to Arka. Later after returning from duty, Marinka will visit him at the barracks" said Marinka.

"Yes well."

Marinka came out of her room, followed by her mother. Tonight they haven't had dinner because they're tidying up the things that will be taken away from duty.

He is very happy, this is his first experience following humanitarian activities. Although he also often helps social activities also on various occasions. Sometimes he also participates in fundraising for victims of natural disasters.

Marinka also often helps disaster victims. Evacuating victims and also having participated in a tent stay with disaster victims. I think he's very happy to do that. And now the opportunity to volunteer medically and be sent to a country of civil war conflict.

He was very challenging himself whether he was capable of doing more dangerous things. Even so, being sent to a conflict area was indeed very afraid. But in his heart he promised this would be the last time. Next he will focus on working and looking for a mate, that is the mission in his life.

"Marinka, you seem to really like this kind of activity. Many of your track record as a humanitarian volunteer that you often follow. In this case, as a humanitarian volunteer sent to the conflict area is a big risk. Many were kidnapped and even killed by them. But if the medics do, they don't do that. Aren't you scared?" ask the group leader.

"I'm afraid, but I feel called to help the medics in the area. It's only been two months anyway, right? And then there will be turns with the others" said Marinka.

"Yes anyway. So you're also looking for a new experience on the assignment this time?" ask the group leader.

"Yes, and after this I won't be taking part in any more shows like this. I want to focus on work and find a mate. Heheh." said Marinka.

"Heheh, that's right too. I think this is a valuable experience you know, later we can tell our grandchildren later. That in this world there are countries that are not safe to live in, and we should be grateful to live in a safe and peaceful country. Yes, although there are those who do not like government policy. But it's democracy, if we all feel the same it will feel monotonous life" he said again.

"Right, I agree with the chairman."

The plane carrying them eventually arrived in the conflict-ridden country. They arrived in the country at night. Because it is expected and recommended to be until night, so as not to be hit by attacks from both parties who are in conflict.

All get off the ship, welcomed by the chief volunteer there. They were immediately taken out of the airport and to the car of medics who had been provided. If new medical volunteers have arrived and it is time to go home tomorrow must immediately leave the refugee camp.

Hospitals set up by the government and the same doctors sent to the conflict area are also there. The hospital situation is good, but Marinka is not assigned to her hospital. But in refugee camps and makeshift tents to treat civilians hit by gunfire or air strikes from warring groups.
