Chapter 12: The Head

After three days in the hospital, doctors finally decided to have Beryl undergo outpatient because the results of the lab examination and X-ray photos showed good results.

“Tomorrow morning you can go home. Please take care of your food and diet. For a while stay away from spicy foods, caffeinated drinks, alcoholic beverages or carbonated ones.”

“Alin, please make sure that Mr. Beryl takes the medicine regularly and on time, at least for the next week. Furthermore, if there are still complaints we will re-evaluate.”

“Of course Doctor Benny,” says Alin.

Beryl who was calm, suddenly surprised to see the closeness of Alin with the doctor who treated him. It seems like the two of them know each other. He frowned, his eyeballs running in turns looking at Alin and Doctor Benny.

“Oh yes Lin, don't let Mr. Beryl get too stressed. Should have enough rest,” continued Doctor Benny.

“Every Doc! But if there are complaints, can you be referred to a hospital in Surabaya only Doc? Because Mr. Beryl does not live in Bali, coincidentally because there is a need only he is here.”

“Can only, I will refer it to one of my colleagues in Surabaya. I'll write you a letter of introduction.”

“Thank you, Doc!” Alin smiled widely without realizing there was a pair of eyes looking at him.

“Alright, Mr. Beryl I'm sorry!” Doctor Benny passed by accompanied by a nurse who had accompanied and recorded all his instructions.

Alin took off Doctor Benny with a smile that still expands adorning his face which makes Beryl more suspicious. Alin turned his attention to Beryl who was putting on a sour face.

“You know Doctor Benny?” Beryl was unable to contain her curiosity.

“Yes know, why?”

Beryl shook her head without even once changing the facial expression that depicted dislike. While Alin is still confused by the look of Beryl.

“Are you close to him?” ask Beryl again.

“Yeah, you could say so. He's a very good senior, attentive with his underclassmen.”

“Include you?”

“Yes so it is,” said Alin cuek.

Alin plucks his favorite biscuit on Beryl's bedside nightstand. The girl continued to chew biscuits to prop up her stomach which began to whine.

“Do you like it?” Beryl is still interrogating him.

“Neither one of the younger siblings doesn't like it. Already handsome, pinter, considerate, affectionate. Easy for anyone to like it, let alone fall in love with it.”

Hearing the words in love slide free from Alin's mouth filled with biscuit crumbs, making Beryl gasp. He also raised his eyebrows.

“Fall in love?”

“Iya,” Alin still with his indifferent attitude.

“Are you also in love with him?” search Beryl.

Alin stopped the chewing for a moment. He sat down next to Beryl and closed his eyes. He cut both his eyebrows. Beryl gasped and hypnotized, not realizing that Alin had passed a piece of biscuit into the mouth that had not stopped asking about the closeness of Alin and Doctor Benny.

“Ngapain anyway just Doctor Benny? Fancied huh? Delicious also snacking, than kepo!” Alin rolled his eyes.

Beryl grumbled in her heart. He was forced to chew the biscuits. Alin's pleasure wheat biscuits are now being fed into Beryl's mouth.

“Tomorrow morning you can go home. We go straight back to Surabaya, right?” alin's question made Beryl remember her purpose of going to Bali.

“Ehm, I think I need a little vacation. The doctor said that I need a lot of rest, right, what do you think?”

“Ya is up to you. But your family would be disappointed if I went home alone, let alone Kika. You know that he's sick too, right?”

“Please, stay here with me!” Beryl held Alin's hand.

“Why?”

“Do you not want to accompany your future husband on vacation?”

“Hah, future husband?” Alin chuckled, a little amused at the words hurtling from Beryl.

“Aren't you already wearing that ring? That means you accepted me, right? Or have you changed your mind? It's better to say it now if it changes its mind,” Beryl snorted miserably.

Alin's laughter almost exploded seeing Beryl who was beginning to sulk. Somehow he was happy to tease Beryl and make the man in front of him feel upset. The man who is almost half a century old is exactly a child if you are craving, unlike Kishika, his youngest daughter.

“If I change my mind, from yesterday I returned to Surabaya after returning the box,” said Alin.

Beryl was still unmoved, her gaze staring in any direction. There is doubt. Afraid to expect much, because he himself did not know the contents of Alin's true heart.

“Udah ah, that's it! This old one, it's getting old!” sulk Alin.

“Udah know I'm old, so why do you want to be the same old man?” Beryl looked back at Alin while folding her hand that had not been attached to the infusion.

The girl in front of him twirled her eyes, trying to find the right answer.

“Don't say for pity!” Beryl brought her face closer to Alin, causing the girl to tiptoe in shock.

“Yes for pity! Old age, hunted marriage with parents, continue to be pushy against children if in the end marriage is the same Grandma Lampir! Wuek ...,” Alin stuck out a tongue mocking Beryl, her nosy brain dancing around.

Not angry with the words spoken by Alin, but Beryl was even more anxious. Beryl spontaneously landed her lips on Alin's lips, which looked red. Alin was stunned, his eyes ringing with Beryl. Beryl's kiss is soft and warm. There was a stream of waves pervading his heart. The damned mind begins to creep into the ego. Slowly his eyes closed and lips spontaneously opened, allowing Beryl to gain control. Alin greedily enjoyed every touch of the man he said the old man had. Something strange was bubbling all over her body, and she presumptuously tightened herself onto Beryl's body.

“Ehem-ehem, excuse Mister!” a sudden voice burst forth with a momentary excitement that cradled.

Beryl stopped her kiss, while Alin sat stiffly motionless. They were both like a thief caught red-handed. Alin lowered his head and hid his face in Beryl's chest, not daring to look up in the slightest.

“How long have you been standing there?” beryl asked with a serious look ready to pounce.

“Sa-I just got in. I'm sorry, Mister!” Bli Arik still did not dare to raise his face.

“What's up?” snapper Beryl.

“I-this I brought dinner for Miss Alin,” Bli Arik showed me the package he was carrying.

“Put it on the seat near that door.”

“Good Sir!” Bli Arik also put the package of food he carried in the chair that was near the door of the room according to the orders of the employer.

“Oh yes, please contact the villa guard in Ubud. Tomorrow morning after getting out of the hospital, you take us there.”

“Siap Mr! Is there anything else I should do, Mister?”

“While it is. You just wait outside,” Beryl shaking hands omens telling his men to get out of the room.

There was the sound of a tormented stomach holding back hunger. Alin who had previously let out a sigh of relief after Bli Arik left the two of them, now lowered his head even more. The sound of his stomach screams was completely shameless. Beryl squinted her eyes and sharpened her hearing to make sure what sounds had just passed, unable to hold her smile.

“It looks like someone is starving, the sound of worms crying is very tight!” beryl Syndicated.

Alin immediately looked up, glaring at his two eyeballs. He pushed Beryl's shoulder slowly as she moved away. However, Beryl did not take off her hand.

“Of course hungry, because the worm energy has been drained!” sulk Alin with a sour face. Alin shook Beryl's hand forcefully. He also stepped closer to the chair where the food parcels that Bli Arik had sent were placed. He grabbed the package and Alin went out of the room.

“Hey, where are you going?” call Beryl from her bed.

“Nevent to kepo!” Alin smiled curiously and left without caring about the man who made his breath go up and down.

^^o^

Alin was enjoying the beauty of the lotus pond in Pura Taman Saraswati, engrossed in directing the camera phone to the object of the lotus flowers filled the pool located right in front of the temple.

This day Beryl spoiled him by traveling around Ubud in accordance with the promise. From visiting the traditional village of Nyuh Kuning whose atmosphere is cool, refreshing rural nature, the unique houses of the population are in accordance with the original Balinese traditional house with all its ornaments.

Alin's eyes grew brighter as he passed through the green Tegallalang Rice Terrace, a sight not found in the city where he lived. Afterwards, Beryl took him to Pura Tirta Empul where there is a holy water bath for Balinese Hindus. In addition to the holy water bath, there is also a koi fish pond. About three thousand koi fish are stocked, the size is quite large and it is very pleasant to see the fish swim there and there in groups.

Alin really felt his brain fresh, the burden of the mind felt light. Clean, cool and fresh air that is inhaled successfully inhibits the level of stress because of the routine that had crawled up.

His trip today also ended at Pura Taman Saraswati because Beryl had an appointment with one of his business partners at a cafe located next to Pura Taman Saraswati. Rather than being a mosquito repellent and listening to a business problem that he did not understand, Alin preferred to spend time sitting by the pool.

Accidentally someone hit him when he was looking for a good selfie spot.

“Sorry!” said a pretty heavy male voice.

Alin almost staggered, but the man's hand held his body from falling. It would be embarrassing if he fell down in front of a crowd that is not only Indonesian, but also foreign tourists. So viral public spectacle material never crossed his dream.

“Sorry, I don’t mean..,”.

“No-no, it’s okay!” Alin tried to stand up straight with the help of men in front of him.

After successfully upholding himself, Alin noticed the man's face. The parasite is like an Indonesian and he is no stranger to his face. Alin frowned trying to pry at his memory. He is not sure he has ever seen it somewhere, but unfortunately his memory refuses to remember.

“Sorry I was in a hurry, so don't look at you! You're okay, right?” the man still felt bad.

“Iya, I'm fine,” replied Alin straightforwardly.

“Thank God,” the man sighed in relief.

“Alin!” call Beryl from behind. His eyes looked at the figure in front of Alin.

Alin turned his head back, looking Beryl standing with both hands tucked in his pants pocket. His facial expression was unpredictable. Suspicious, questioning, dislike, angry, everything mixed into one like mixed ice.

“Eh\, done *meeting-*nya?” ask Alin.

“Hmm ...,” Beryl replied with deheman alone, the eyeballs were not separated from the young man.

“OK, once again I'm sorry! I have to go now, bye!” the man was quite self-knowing, rather than lingering trapped in a situation that was getting heated up, he chose to leave immediately. Alin waved his hand, just being polite.

“Who is he?” suddenly Alin shuddered in horror, Beryl's gaze was like an electric shock ready to hit.

“Nobody.”

“Really?” beryl's expression was still the same, coldly full of probes.

“Iya,” said Alin firmly. Beryl was just a beard without changing her facial expression.

“Gosh, my future husband who kepo, can not his expression be changed a little smile? Don't put on a fierce face gini dong, make a fear!” spray Alin while pinching both cheeks Beryl.

“Aaan anyway?” murmur Beryl.

“So he hit me, keep him sorry. That's it. I don't know who he is either. No need to insecure it dong!”

“What? An insecure? Me?” Beryl was shocked.

“Terus what? Jealousy huh?” Alin blinked his eyes.

“Udah ah, back to villa yuk! Tired, sultry!” Alin immediately grabbed Beryl's arm without babibu and pulled her away from the lotus pond.
