Land Disputes

A year after the death of Mr. Damar, Pak Subani, the eldest son of Mr. Satrio who was the sole candidate, was elected absolutely as the new village head. The Wardoyo family's power is back. They bought the strategically located agricultural land and turned it into land plots and shops that were sold again at high prices.

In the past, Mr. Wahid, Mr. Burhan's father owned land with an area of about 12 hectares and the location is very strategic near Simpang Bengkok. Mr. Udin, the father of Mr. Satrio who was then in office made a deal with Mr. Wahid to exchange the strategic land for a wider land but located some distance into the village. Despite his legally weak position, however, Mr. Burhan continues to try to prevent Mr. Burhan's intention to replace the school building with a mini market. Mr. Burhan threatened to sue Mr. Subani back for fraud and forgery of land certificates.

Whether really afraid or deliberately waiting for the right time, Mr. Subani never knock down the school.

For Mr. Burhan, the position he currently occupies is very dilemmatic. On the one hand, Mr. Subani is his superior. But on the other hand he is an enemy in a blanket. Therefore, Mr. Burhan believes that he must be careful and better in maintaining the safety of his family. He does not want every mistake and action taken can harm his wife and child.
