The day is still so early, but the beautiful atmosphere typical of Randu Ginting Village has begun to smell. It has been almost 5 years Rere left the village of his birth. It feels good to be back to touch the stretch of yellowed rice fields, the snaking river gurgles and boisterous sounds of villagers passing along the road.

Rere lowered the windshield, breathing in the cool, clean morning air that is rarely enjoyed in the capital.

Soon they stopped at an intersection under a gate that read Randu Ginting Village. Kembang Bengkok, so commonly people call it, because in the past, not far from there there was a narrow winding road that dived sharply and quite steep. However, about 6 years ago the road was widened after the accident that killed Lurah at that time.

" It's up to my brother" said the driver of the friendly online taxi

Rere smiled as he offered two hundred thousand bills, "thank you sir."

The driver took the money and immediately dropped the suitcase from the trunk and left Rere with his luggage at the ojek base in one corner of Simpang Bengkok.

The road to his house was still very far away, about 3km away. So narrow and difficult the road can only be passed by two-wheeled vehicles. This is one of the reasons that makes me lazy to go home even though I miss you very much. Before that I still had to travel 14 hours by economy train plus 50 minutes by online taxi d station to Simpang Bengkok. Justjust wonderful.

It's been almost half an hour since Rere waited, but no one came there. Had intended to call the Father to pick him up, but soon canceled because he wanted to give a surprise to both parents who had long missed him.

Akmal is the sister level Rere at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at one of the state universities in Jakarta. They become familiar because they are often involved in various Hima Prodi activities and student journalism activity units. Until finally they decided to date in the second year of college Rere.

Akmal became the only relative for Rere in Jakarta because he did not have any relatives there. When deciding to move away from his hometown, Rere wanted to become a political science scholar in order to smooth his ideals to become a member of the council. He was not satisfied just being a high school graduate village boy who mostly ended up in the fields or market like his other friends. And Mr. Burhan, his father, was very supportive of his wishes.

Graduating with a satisfactory predicate, Rere decided to become a member of one of the political parties chaired by Pak Bagas, Mayang's father. Rere is believed to be the party secretary of the Branch Leadership Council (DPC) and has had many opportunities to meet prominent political figures. Although it was only a year, it was enough for him to deepen and develop the knowledge he got from college.

Rere was very lucky to be trusted, often even dubbed 'right hand' Pak Bagas by his friends. Because of Rere's expertise, he is often trusted to represent Mr. Bagas and his party in major regional political events.

Rere took advantage of the opportunity and trust from Mr. Bagas to make Akmal vice treasurer of DPC partynya. But as the boomerang, Akmal just became uncontrollable, many were involved in the case of misappropriation of funds and even approached Mayang to gain the sympathy of Mr. Bagas and get rid of Rere who he considered too much to know the secrets and ugliness of Akmal.
