Toxic In-Law Shackles
Chapter 22
Bella looked at her husband with an expressionless cold look. "What's wrong?"
"I want to talk to you about something."
"Tell me, I'll listen to him." Replied Bella who now rubbed her son's hair gently.
Abimana immediately swallowed both knees and cupped her hands in front of Bella who was now just staring at her without a word.
"sorry"
Bella only smiled faintly at the same apology that Abimana always said to her whenever she felt guilty. But after that the apology is like a wind that blows and passes without leaving a trace.
"For what?" Ask Bella who is now looking the other way.
"For everything I've ever done to you, I really regret everything." Say Abimana with sincerity.
"Everything? but after that you repeat it back, I don't think you're wrong. I was wrong, my fault for being too patient with your selfishness."
"Bella," Abimana did not continue her words back as Bella gestured for silence.
Bella was so tired of listening to everything that her husband would eventually defend her mother from her. "I will never demand any promise from you, you can do whatever you want. I want us to split up maybe this is the best way for both of us."
"But Bella try to understand, I will try my best to be who you want me to be, I beg you to rethink Zayn's future." Abiman kept begging his wife never to say anything about separation, because after a few days Bella kept asking to part with him.
"What to defend again, I used to think the same thing as you just said. But, it turns out that all I got was pain and suffering." Bella begins to remember the difficult times facing the attitude of her mother-in-law and her husband at that time.
"You see for yourself how your mother behaved to me, I never meant to put your mother down but the truth is that your mother's attitude never changed, even my mother once told me that she would find a better replacement than me. So why are you still holding me here?"
Abhimana began to shed tears when he heard his wife's complaints that he had never listened to all this time. "It's your house, there's no way you should leave this house, but I don't want to leave you and our son either." Abhimana holds his wife's hand so that Bella gives him a chance to fix everything.
But Bella brushes Abimana's hand and tells her to leave the room, Bella keeps her heart from getting stuck in the same hole. Currently Bella is still trying to heal the wounds of the heart because of the loss of her baby because of her mother-in-law.
Bella rubbed her flat stomach gently. "I felt her little kick before, but now," Bella cried out her heart's sadness.
"Don't cry ma," Zayn rubbed her tears gently and hugged her very tightly.
Abimana, who saw this, went straight to his wife's son and took him into his arms.
"Sorry, sorry." Abhimana repeated the same words.
But outside the room Maya's mother just stared cynically, not the slightest sense of compassion in her heart.
"Cihh once drama." Mumbled Maya's mother who was now leaving the room.

Abhimana had never returned home that made Bella think that what Abimana promised was just the wind. But in fact Abiman worked day and night so that he could buy a car for his wife, changing the car he had sold because of his mother's request.
Abimana smiled when she saw a car key that she bought with her own sweat. "Bella I'm gonna go home and give you this surprise." With a happy face, Abimana also kissed the key and began driving her car down the road to her home.
After a few minutes passed now Abimana also arrived in front of his house and began to enter the house with a smile, but now the smile disappeared when he saw the whole house looked messy and unkempt.
"Bella's? where's your darling? Zay! mama!" Abiman looked for the existence of his entire family that he had left a few months ago in order to achieve what he promised his wife.
But now the sound of falling objects came from his mother's room. Abimana ran to see what was happening and was shocked to see the mother who was already weakly sprawled on the floor.
"Mother!" Abiman was shocked and ran to the nearest hospital.
"Mom, I'll be fine." Abimana waited for his mother's examination to be completed and attempted to contact his wife who was somehow there at this time.
"Bella please raise my call." Abimana continued to walk back and forth waiting for Bella to answer her call, but Bella still never answered her phone call.
After a long wait, the doctor came out and told her that her mother had a mild stroke. Abimana sighed slowly and approached her mother who was still closing her eyes.
"Mom why did all this happen? what happens when I'm not home?" Abhimana clutched her mother's hand tightly.
Long Abhimana cried until Maya's mother woke up and tried hard to speak, but now she was unable to get a word out of her lips.
Maya's mother begins to shed her tears and regrets her actions after expelling Bella when Abimana is absent.
Flasbacks
Bella opened the door of her house with a tired face because of a long day of work, but now she has been welcomed by her mother-in-law who has ruffled her waist in her approach.

For no apparent reason, Maya's mother slapped Bella just like that. "The son-in-law doesn't know that the husband is leaving you come home late at night!" Shouted Maya's mother who will now return to throw her hand at Bella, but quickly Bella clasped her mother-in-law's hand and brushed her off.
"What right does my mother have to forbid me to come home late? I go to work not to play."
"Do you think I don't know what you're behind my son?" maya's mother pushes Bella so violently that she falls to the floor. Bella was no longer strong to face the arrogant attitude of her mother-in-law, without many words now she decided to leave the house with her son who was asleep.
And after Bella left, Maya's mother felt a terrible pain in her chest and fell unconscious, but no one helped her. Until a few days passed Maya's mother increasingly felt pain all over her body and could not do anything else until Abimana finally came home and took her to the hospital.
