Tough Widow

Tough Widow
Proposing

"Where else are we going?" Angga scooped the tiny face of Adiba who just came out of the mosque. Kissing the boy's nose and cheeks alternated like a father venting affection for his son.

"I think just go home. Time for the kids to sleep." Ayu tidied up her hijab.

Alifa sat on the lap of Angga. Right next to his sister.

They sit in the porch to unravel the fatigue of his excitement while waiting for Harini who is still inside.

"But I can only accompany the children today." Pat the empty floor beside him. Code Ayu to sit nearby.

Shame, that's how her facial language says until there's only a little slab. His fingers rolled to grip the tip of the hijab he was wearing.

Ah, over time Angga increasingly admired the figure of the strong widow. He could not help his heart falling in love at first sight.

"I want to say something" he said in front of the children.

They deserve to know what he's going to say.

"What?" ask Ayu lirih. Avoiding the incomprehensible stare of Angga.

The love signals from Angga's eye pelukur are indeed emanated clearly, but Ayu's heart was once hurt as if she did not believe him.

"Here!" Angga kept telling him to come closer.

Ayu shifted her body slightly. Scrape the distance but not as close as Angga wants. Leave a place as wide as the tiny body of Alifa.

Angga relented, he who approached until the two sat in line like a married couple.

Their three children sat in front of them.

"Here, in this house of God I will tell you my purpose." Angga looks more serious than dealing with an important client. "I want to propose to you." Staring at Ayu's face from the side that makes the empu's cheeks increasingly blushing.

Silent

Harini who almost stepped foot in the doorway also abandoned her intentions and chose to retreat. He leaned against the wall listening to their conversation.

May the intentions of Angga be sincere.

Doubt back enveloped making Ayu difficult to answer.

"Not answer now. I'll wait patiently." Angga reaffirmed. Doesn't want Ayu pressed with her wishes.

Feeling enough to give them a chance, Harini came out with lips filled with smiles.

"Where else are we going?" tanya Harini pretended not to know about the discussion that had just spoken.

"Back, Mommy. I think the kids are tired."

Angga stood up from his seat. Helping Hanan wear shoes. They returned to the car with a much better feeling.

It was almost half the way they left the Mosque towards Ayu's house. Angga just remembered the forgotten order of Winda's bu.

"Why?" asked Ayu who was confused to see Angga's strange behavior.

There was no answer, Angga turned to banging his head on the steering wheel which made the three Ayu children laugh with his funny behavior.

Hanan who saw that stood poking forward.

"I forgot to buy my mom's order" Angga said with regret.

Ayu also felt guilty for not reminding. Because, he also slightly forgot because washed away in a soothing atmosphere.

"What did your mom order?" ask Ayu doubtfully.

However, he tried to melt his still frozen heart. Little by little open the curtain of love although it is still a bit difficult.

"Whatever, just a chicken."

Ayu nodded understanding the meaning of Angga's words.

"I can cook, but I don't have the ingredients."

It was like a dream for Angga. He drove his car to the supermarket. It is not impossible to return to the restaurant, but it is a golden opportunity for him to bring Ayu and her mother closer.

Buy the ingredients to be cooked. As a housewife she knows good quality and is good for getting delicious results.

While Harini keeps the kids in the car.

"This is also?" Angga pointed to the cooking spices that he often saw in his home kitchen.

Not in accordance with Ayu's expectations, Angga actually took one renteng and put it on the trolley and then arranged with other shopping.

Take a few snacks with a large amount. Do not forget milk for preparation at home.

Accidentally a woman hit Angga from the opposite direction until the master screamed.

Ayu who was behind the shelf rushed to run towards the source of the sound. Approaching Angga who looks bowed while apologizing.

O it turns out Rani, why the hell is this world so narrow.

"Aren't you papa?" Ayu looked at Angga from top to bottom.

Angga shook without a sound. Waving his wet hands due to the spilling of mineral water.

"You're done?" Angga.

Take the sardines that are in Ayu's hands.

Ayu replied with a nod, while Rani was like a living statue that witnessed the intimacy of a lovebirds who were being drunk with romance. His chest burst out and was ready to spit boiling water on the face of the woman in front of him.

''We're going home." Ayu helps Angga push the trolley towards the cashier. Ignoring Rani's echoing call filled the room.

"Other times if you meet the woman earlier do not be served. He'll just make trouble" whispered Angga in Ayu's ear.

Again Ayu simply replied with a nod of the head.

I unpacked the groceries in the kitchen. Look at some snacks Angga bought.

Put it in the cupboard next to the dining table. Free to protest, surely Angga will not mengubrisnya.

"What's cooking?" ask Ayu from behind.

"Who are you asking?" sahut Angga.

Ayu was speechless, confused about what Angga would say. Because the man is an important person who certainly does not just call names.

"You, Master," Ayu replied holding back a laugh.

Angga's face suddenly scowled at Ayu's call. He preferred that the woman call him with a more cordial call.

"It's up to you that important mama likes," he replied.

"Well, sir," Ayu answered more irritatingly to Angga.

It's up to you now what you want to call, but I'll make sure, if you become my wife later you'll call me affectionately.

Ayu cook chicken soy sauce stew. Although it sounds simple, the cuisine is much liked by the upper class. In fact, one of his best friends once asked to open a restaurant because of its very good cuisine.

The aroma of cooking smelled from the direction of the living room tempting the stomach of Angga who returned hungry. However, he could only endure it while imagining Ayu's face.

Shortly after, Ayu came out carrying two bushels and put in front of Angga.

"Later you can complain that the food is not good."

Angga stood up, his stalling hand touched Ayu's cheek without permission.

Sontak made the owner surprised and retreated away. Back rubbing Angga's hand.

"There's chilli" said Angga immediately lowered his hand.

"Well, I went home and my mom was waiting. Greetings to the children." Staring at the three Ayu children who were lying in the room.

Angga said goodbye to Harini and Ayu.

Just getting out of the house, Angga came back in and approached Ayu.

"Well if you ask me what?" ask her silly.

"As far as you are."

Angga smiled cunningly.

"I can tell my mom that this is from her daughter-in-law, right?"

Without waiting for an answer, Angga ran away leaving Ayu who looked angry. Do not forget to say hello from outside.
