Tough Widow

Tough Widow
Early struggles

In the morning, Harini arrived at Ayu's house. It just so happens that today is a holiday. That means they can be together for a full day. Enjoy a rare togetherness.

He dropped off his luggage assisted by the driver who drove him.

"Don't bother, Ma'am. The arrival of Mbak is enough to make them happy, not others" explained Ayu, hugging Harini.

Harini's eyes stared at the few boxes on the table and let go of her embrace.

"Who's this from, Yu?" ask Harini to investigate. Lifting the boxes one by one.

"Yesterday there was a prankster who sent a gift, but later I'll just give it back, Ma'am." Grab Harini's hand and bring her in. I don't want to talk about the box. Because, his heart was again irritated if he remembered the behavior of Angga.

No man likes Ayu.

Harini's desire to unite Ayu and Ikram back flexible. Although inwardly not willing Ayu to have another companion. Harini tried sincerely for the happiness of the woman.

"Mama.." cried Hanan from the direction of the room.

It was clear that the boy was folding his prayer mat and putting the peci on the table and then came out to Harini and Ayu.

"Children, be the best!" Kiss Hanan's forehead which makes the empu red blush.

"Today we're going for a walk." Harini opened some ready-to-eat meals. Ayu takes the plate in the back.

"Adiba and Alifa aren't awake yet?" tanya Harini looked at Ayu's room door that was slightly open.

"Yet. Last night they didn't want to sleep and accompany me to write."

"Writing?" tanya Harini repeated Ayu's faint-sounding words.

Ayu nodded without a sound.

"Write what?"

Ayu explained that she is currently writing on the paid platform. Yes, although he has not received money from his writing, but he has felt there is a bright signal that makes him more excited.

Harini marvels. It turns out that his sister-in-law is not only smart in matters of household, but also looking for money and taking care of children alone. A fortune fighter is like a husband and father.

Harini glanced at Hanan who was enjoying her food then looked back at Ayu.

"If there was a man who would marry you, would you?"

Ayu. Instantly he shook his head. Not wanting to remarry or give a stepfather to his children. For her it was enough like this and wished to give them the best even though her status was a widow.

Harini understood, surely Ayu is still traumatized by the depravity of the Ikram, but it is not good also if the woman lives alone.

"Why?" tanya Harini is getting curious about Ayu's purpose.

"The fool is in God's hands, Ma'am. If one day I get married, it's a destiny I have to live. But for now I'm going to focus on the kids. I want to make them happy without the intervention of others. I want to prove that women are not weak, even they exceed a man. They were created not to raise their hands and accept bad luck, but to stand up and be glorified" Ayu explained at length.

Harini hugged Ayu. She is proud to be part of that family. Although there was currently no longer any ties at least it already considered him a brother.

As the two were immersed in the flow of the day, the door was knocked from the outside, blowing them both away.

Hanan immediately stood up and opened it.

"Good morning" said a heavy voice from outside to Hanan.

"Morning too" Hanan replied, receiving the man's hand and kissing him.

"Who are you meeting, Om?" ask Hanan politely.

"There's a mother?" ask the man without hesitation.

"There was. Please come in, Om." Hanan shifted his body allowing the guest to go inside.

How surprised Ayu was when she saw someone smiling at her.

Ayu nervous. He did not expect the man to come to his house. In fact, his attitude is far from friendly and expect the man to stay away, quite the opposite.

"Who, Yu?" whisky Harini.

"That–it," said Ayu intermittently. He could not explain about Angga to his older brother. It will cause a lot of questions.

Angga bowed kindly while holding Hanan's tiny hands.

"Please sit down, Om." Hanan pointed at the empty seat that was in front of Ayu. Not presumptuous, the mother always taught to respect guests, and it was directly applied by Hanan.

Ayu is still confused, he has not been able to behave like a friend as Angga wants. But he also could not ignore his presence.

"What do you need to do here?" ask Ayu doubtfully.

Harini went to the back, while Hanan continued eating beside Ayu.

Just like Ayu, Angga also looked nervous when he was near the woman. His face slightly shriveled holding his chest that felt palpitating like he had met his lover.

"Mau silaturahmi," Angga replied straightforwardly.

First of all it was his goal, and secondly he wanted to introduce himself to the children of Ayu.

Every now and then Hanan looks at the face of Angga who is very handsome like a Korean actor.

Was this the one who called my mom last night? May he be a good man.

Hanan pretended to be innocent, yet sifted through every conversation between Ayu and Angga.

"Bet you bring your gifts home. I don't need." Ayu is still in fierce fashion.

No problem, Angga still responded with a smile.

"Where are we going, Ma?" ask Hanan after she finished eating.

"You want to go for a walk?" sergeant Angga stopped Ayu who was about to answer.

"Yes, Om. Every Sunday mama makes me and my sister go for a walk. And today we're going with Mama Harini too."

His name was Harini. But who is Ayu huh? Not his brother, his face is not similar.

"You want to go with Om Angga?" hagga hagga hagga on Hanan.

At once Ayu also looked at Angga with a sharp look.

Hanan was speechless, he saw the anger on Ayu's face and did not dare to answer the question of the person who kept smiling at him.

"Mama.." cried Alifa from the room making Angga turn.

His eyes caught the troubled little girl as she got out of bed.

Uh, that's the second kid what's the third yeah, really funny.

Again Angga kepo with Ayu's son who had just seen him for the first time.

"Sik Diba is awake." Ayu lifted Adiba's tiny body and carried it into her lap.

Harini out. He put a cup of coffee in front of Angga.

"Thank you, Ma'am." Angga waved his hand towards Adiba. Spread the charm on Ayu's youngest daughter who is spoiled with her mother.

Harini went back to the back. He did not want to disturb Angga who seemed to struggle to get close to the children of Ayu.

"Who today wants to ride in a car with Om?" Angga raised his hand, he did not give up and wanted to give the best for them. Although already rejected by his mother will still advance before the yellow janur curved.
