There's a Way

Zico quickened his footsteps when he saw some of the buildings of the house. There is a village up ahead. The man hoped that someone could help him later. Eren no longer spoke. The woman was really cold. He simply resigned himself and entrusted his life to Zico this time around.

"Eren, we'll be safe" Zico said. The man walked even faster until they finally arrived at a gate that became the entrance to the village. Zico stood up for a moment before going even faster. "Look.we found a house. We can take shelter from the cold snow in that house." The man walked towards one of the houses in the village.

"Excuse me! Is there anyone inside?" Zico tried to say goodbye before entering. Since there was no answer at all, Zico finally decided to barge in.

The man took Eren down and laid Eren on the wooden bed in the house. Not to forget he enveloped Eren with a jacket before paying attention to the house.

"Where is this?" eren was confused. He tried to sit down but again Zico held his body to stay lying down.

"You better rest. I'm gonna find some wood so we can make a fire here."

Zico pointed to the fireplace in the room. He felt much calmer now. The solution to keep Eren from freezing has been found. That man doesn't have to worry anymore. He believes after this Eren's condition will improve again.

"Don't go far. Hurry back," said Eren still with a weak tone.

"All right." Zico left Eren immediately. The man closed the door of the house tightly before inspecting the other vacant house.

"Has he gone?" inner Eren. When Zico had disappeared, Eren tried to get up and stand up. The woman also did not want to be silent to see her husband in trouble. "This house really is a helper for us. At least now I don't feel shiver anymore." Eren immediately put down Zico's jacket which he had made a blanket on the bed. The woman tried to check on the state of the uninhabited house.

Eren walked towards the bathroom. The woman frowned seeing that the water there was already frozen.

After checking the bathroom, Eren walked towards the kitchen. The woman smiled to see that there was a stove in the kitchen. Without a second thought, he immediately turned on the stove.

His face was radiant when the stove was still usable. Eren instantly placed both of his hands in front of the blazing flame on the stove while smiling happily. "At least there's a fire that can warm my body right now."

Simultaneously Zico appeared while carrying some wood that he found from another empty house. The man was worried when he did not find Eren lying on the bed.

"Dren!" shout Zico. Eren immediately turned off the stove and walked towards where Zico was.

"What's wrong? Did you find the wood?" eren asked before sitting on the chair by the fireplace.

"Why did you come down? Didn't I ban you?" Zico began to tidy up the wood he was carrying.

"sorry. I've been feeling a lot better. Why is the wood so little?"

"Yes, this is just the wood we have. But at least this wood can be useful to warm our bodies. Did you just check this house?"

"I want to make sure this house is safe for us. Oh yeah, in the kitchen there's a stove. I warmed myself with the fire in the stove."

Zico crouched down and arranged the wood to be used as a fireplace. "You'd better sit here, let me work."

"Alright," answered Eren. The woman sat on one of the wooden chairs in the house while looking at Zico who now looks busy himself. "We just need to bring it to life." Zico stood up and reached into his pocket looking for something.

"If you don't have a lighter, you can use the stove to get a fire" Eren said. Finally, Zico smiled. The man immediately ran towards the kitchen to get the fire from the stove.

After nearly 5 minutes of struggling, the fireplace finally came along. Now Zico and Eren sit side by side in front of the fire to warm themselves.

"Are you sorry about the vacation with me?"

Eren shook his head. "I have no regrets at all. All this happened because of my mistake. If I had told you in the first place that there was something suspicious we might not have gotten on the cable car and got stuck up and into this ravine."

"But this fireplace also doesn't warm us enough until tomorrow morning. When viewed again this house also does not have electricity. That means tonight we'll be dark." Zico tried to tell them the circumstances they would face later.

"I don't mind at all. What I'm afraid is there's a beast near here. The village seemed to be suddenly abandoned. Just look at the furniture that is still intact and it makes me a little uncomfortable. Something must have happened before that the citizens who had lived here left this village."

Zico also watched the state of the house closely. As Eren said before, the furniture in the house they now occupy is still intact. Usually if someone moves house for sure he will bring his belongings to move as well.

"Oh yes, does the average furniture in this house use wood? We can burn it to make fire" Eren said with a radiant face.

"You're right!" Zico immediately went up and collected small items made of wood. The man will burn it until their fireplace never dies until tomorrow morning.

Malampun. Eren and Zico were still sitting before the fireplace. The weather's getting colder. They don't want to go anywhere anymore. Their stomachs were hungry but there was nothing they could eat at the time. Eren checked into the kitchen. There was no food they could make for dinner. Now the couple can only wait for reinforcements to come.

"Eren, tell me. How's your family life. From what I heard, your family is a harmonious family. Is it really like that? Then when did you know the mafia world?" Suddenly, Zico is interested in knowing his wife's past.

"I don't know what kind of family is said to be harmonious. All I know is that I, Brother Elma, and Daddy have been loving each other. After mommy left, Daddy became more protective of us. Then what about you? About Lyn?" Eren was still curious as to how many sisters her husband actually had. It was just Lynn.

"Lyn's age is just like yours. If he's alive he'll be as chatty as you are, too" Zico replied with a chuckle. Just now she was saying Lyn name there was a sense of regret in her heart again. Usually when Lyn's name is spoken, the trauma is re-emerged to make Zico continue to blame himself.

"I'm sure she's a beautiful woman." Eren embraces Zico's arm. Now the woman is no longer awkward when she wants to be close to her husband.

Zico looked at Eren who was now smiling happily. The man also smiled. Eren felt that Zico had been looking at him. The woman tilted her head to the right with a slightly upturned position.

"What's wrong?"

Zico held onto Eren's cheek and rubbed it gently. The man arranged for his heart beat to go wrong. The vibe of love is beginning to grow. Zico was completely overwhelmed to control it.

"Acstric ...."

Zico pulled Eren's chin before landing his lips there. Eren speechless. The woman squeezed Zico's jacket beside her. Eren slowly closed his eyes before returning her husband's kiss.

Zico guided Eren to sit on his lap. They were both happy for a long time. Eren really can't control himself. Same with Zico. They get carried away to the point of forgetting where they now feel.

Zico stopped their plants when he heard the helicopter "Did you hear it?"

Eren nodded. When he wanted to get out of the way, suddenly Zico held back his waist. "We have to code them to know we're here."

Eren nodded again. The woman wants to rise. Zico held him back. Then look at him seriously. "What's wrong?"
