"You don't want to tell me who the guy was this afternoon, Beb?" Jacob sat down near his future wife after delivering the woman to the room.

As Jacob said, Anna would stay in her home until she formally proposed to Anna.

The two couples were sitting opposite a small table between them.

"Make what?" ask Anna cuek.

"Ish, at least you tell me what your relationship is with her, it's with me!" jacob wants to know.

Seeing him being forced by Anna to leave the cafe this afternoon made Jacob curious about who the tall man really was.

"Wait, have you ever told me about your past? About who you are and what you have done in the past. Never, right?" anna replied.

Jacob instantly kept silent, confirming Anna's words in his heart.

"As long as you never talk about your past with me. I won't tell you anything either!" anna doesn't care.

It was nothing, he just did not want to pry any old wounds anymore. It took at least a long time for Anna to accept and let go of all of the poignant past she had gone through all those years.

Anna does not want when she has moved on, Jacob instead opens a wound that still imprints in the heart.

"I know, Beb. I never told you about my past. But all this time, it was you I was serious about. You can ask your mommy if I ever met a girl before. The only girl I've ever introduced and brought into this house, it's just you!" honestly Jacob.

Anna squinted her eyes, feeling Jacob's words were far-fetched. "I can't believe it!" he's got a chest.

"Whatever, if you don't want to believe it. That's your right. But if I were to boongin you, I wouldn't tell you to name you as mami and papi about what I said earlier" said Jacob. "I'm ready to stay if I'm proven to be boong!" he gave faith to Anna.

The woman stared in Jacob's gray bead of eyes in front of her. Can this guy he trust? Anna did not want to be stuck in the same stupidity anymore, he thought.

"And besides the women who always keep me in clubs and hotels. Besides, there are no other women in my life" Jacob said.

Jacob thought there was no point in him hiding anything from Anna. They also met at the club at the time. And as a lover of enclosed spaces with loud thumps of music and intoxicating drinks, Jacob knows how the nightlife there ends until morning.

A little bit of Anna must have known what a single man like her would do in such a place.

"Well, it's your turn now, baby. Tell me how was your life before I met you." Jacob smiled with a hopeful face.

Anna was still silent giving no explanation at all. She herself was still confused as to whether to trust this man who said he loved her or not.

There was too much trust he had ever given and also the disappointment he felt. Anna was afraid that she would have to swallow the bitter pill that made her life suffer the way it used to.

"But if you don't want to talk about pa-pa, anyway. I can find out for myself all about you if I want to" Jacob said with confidence.

Anna knew it wouldn't be hard for her to figure that out. Let alone his future father-in-law as well who helped him get out of here, Jacob could definitely ask him Anna thought.

With a claustrophobic heart Anna began to speak. "The guy was my ex this afternoon, Jac. We dated for almost five years but it ended because I chose to stay with her."

"Early courtship is all sweet. She showed a good attitude until the initiative helped me to recruit the same mother who is single parent. Josh emang comes from a family of being and also noble descent he said. I don't really know either, but all of her family are people." Anna clasped the tip of the skirt on her knees with a face that turned full of anxiety.

Every time she discussed the matter between her and Josh, Anna would act like this. Jacob noticed that.

"Seeing all her kindness, I didn't realize the same possessive attitude she had toward me. I'm forbidden to deket anyone, especially guys. All of my movements are really being watched out for him. And if I break or she knows I'm leaving without her knowledge, I'll be in...." Anna could not continue her sentence anymore.

Hands trembling followed by pain almost all over her body Anna always felt every time discussing the wound that Josh left on her.

The trauma of all Josh's deeds has taken up almost half of Anna's sanity. The woman began to shed tears with her chest tightening in there.

"Lad...." Jacob quickly got up, approached and hugged his worried woman.

There seems to be a very deep wound that Anna has felt all along Jacob thought.

"Sorry, Jac. I can't stop our conversation" Anna said in her male arms.

Never promised never to cry again because the man, in fact, could not be done by Anna. He felt that Josh's bad influence had been left behind and ingrained in his life. Anna felt like she had failed to forget all her bad memories all along.

If only she could forget her memories, Anna would have chosen that path instead of being tormented by all her memories with Josh. He just wants to live happily without getting carried away by the shadows of past wounds again.

"It's not pa-pa, Beb. Sorry if I told you about this." Jacob rubbed Anna's back which was still shaking violently in his arms.

His heart throbbed not having the heart to see the state of the woman. How bad are the memories that that crazy man left Anna? Jacob becomes increasingly curious about Anna's life before meeting her and is able to escape Josh.
