"How's my wife doing, Doc?" Jacob got out of the front seat of the ICU room as soon as the doctor came out of there to check on Anna.

"You're her husband?"

"Yes, Doc."

"Let's come with me, sir. I have something to talk to you about."

Jacob nodded and followed the white-robed woman who walked ahead of him. They entered the woman's doctor's private room after walking through the hallway of the ICU room.

"Please sit down, sir." The doctor allowed Jacob to sit in front of him on a desk.

"How's my wife doing, Doc?" jacob asked impatiently.

"Father need not worry, in general Anna's mother's condition is fine. It's just...."

"What's all, Doc?"

"It's just Anna's mother needs further treatment."

Jacob frowned not understanding. "Further treatment what does Doctor mean?"

"Physically Anna's mother did not get raped as you feared. But indeed Anna's mother was abused, there is some evidence of violence in the body of Anna's mother that we found. And it's likely that this isn't the first time it's happened to your wife."

Jacob clenched his hands, angrily hearing the doctor's explanation of Anna. The shadow of how he found Anna in the airport toilet again penetrated Jacob's mind. He was sure this must have been the son of a bitch.

"Sorry in advance if I'm presumptuous, sir. But, has your wife also experienced sexual violence or abuse before?" ask the doctor to confirm the results of the examination.

Jacob nodded weakly. "Yes, Doc. Before we got married, my wife did have time to date a man who she said always treated her rudely and did not hesitate to hit her."

The doctor breathed a deep breath, writing something on his front paper.

"Further treatment I want to convey is that your wife needs to see a psychiatrist to treat the trauma caused by the violence that Anna's mother has received so far. Actually, Anna's mother had realized and began to rebel looking for Father. Maybe because he was still afraid of what had happened to Anna's mother until he took a syringe that happened to be nearby. I'm just afraid Anna's mother will act uncontrollably if the deep trauma your wife has experienced is not addressed immediately. I'm sure with Anna's mother to see a psychiatrist, your wife can recover from all the trauma that's been going on all this time."

Jacob was silent with a raging mind. It had never been thought that Anna would harbour such a deep sense of trauma over what had been afflicting her for so many years.

Rejected for not believing in love and himself, Jacob finally understands why it was so difficult to convince Anna first to accept her to be his lover.

Jacob came out after being advised by the doctor to see a great psychiatrist who was in Singapore.

"Dad?"Jacob is surprised to see Mike is already at the door of the ICU room waiting for him.

"Basic fool!"

Mike slapped his son's face in a rage.

"Bego! Not useful!" maki Mike is angry.

Jacob bowed with a pain in the cheek. He deserved a slap right now.

"You Daddy people don't call Daddy and tell him this, you won't tell Daddy too, huh?!" point Mike at his son.

Jacob had not told all his family about their situation. Too focused on Anna to make Jacob forget there is a family who also worried about the situation of Anna.

"Mike, ' ''" hold Richard who turns out to be there, too.

"No, Chad. He has to learn how to be responsible to the child. How is the story of his own wife being hurt by people fitting again the same him?! Bego, that's useless is his name!" angry Mike fiery.

Jacob could only bow down to justify his father's words. He was indeed stupid and useless for not being able to take care of his own wife.

A feeling of guilt immediately filled his heart. Jacob sat down, rubbing his face rough.

"Wake, Cob! You must be strong for Anna!" Richard pulled the man he already thought to be his own son from the hospital floor.

As if giving strength to the man he knew was devastated, Richard patted Jacob's back gently.

"I'm sorry, Pi." Jacob said, not daring to look at Mike.

"Well, are you sorry, Papi?! Is Papi apologizing?! Apologize to your wife! He's the one who's more sorry for you than Papi!" mike is still upset with his son.

Jacob silently did not dare to reply again. Richard pulled her into a waiting chair, waiting for Anna to be moved to the treatment room.

"Not trying to beat Mike anymore. It's not Jacob's fault either. No one knew the son of a bitch could make it out of Malaysia. It turns out that the scandal that we love to him didn't work out that he was there. Maybe we should find another way for that asshole to rot in jail."

Mike silently thought, the plan he had arranged so neatly to trap Josh turned out to fail.

It seems that man cannot be taken lightly. Josh has a lot of connections and power as a descendant of the noble family. They have to think of a better plan if they want to put Josh in jail.

"There's only one way" said Mike, opening his voice.

"What's that?"

"Open this matter to the public!"

Jacob raised his head to look at his father in shock. "I mean Papi?!"

"You want revenge against that guy, he's the same thing Anna has to open up to the public, Cob. We can't just kidnap her. That jerk has a strong connection. We could be the ones who get the law if we just start looking at the same thing!" bright Mike long.

Two men of different ages who were sitting in front of him were silently thinking, they knew what consequences they would receive if until this matter came to the public.

Jacob had to think carefully given Anna's condition which was still in shock and trauma to this day. Jacob was afraid that this would make his wife worse.

"Everything back to you, Cob. If you want revenge, this is the only way for that asshole to go to jail." Richard patted Jacob on the shoulder, agreeing with Mike's proposal.

He knew his best friend's son could definitely decide what was best for his family in the future.
