Attack on the beach

This morning I helped Verri tidy things up. There was an order from someone, Verri said it was an important person's order and at the moment I lift the boxes one by one into the horse carriage.

After I finished, I intended to take a break but someone entered the store in a daze.

"Welcome... Sora?"

"Yo, long time no see."

Reiki wondered why Sora had come to visit him. He was not like wanting to buy something and his appearance was not like wanting to go on an adventure, he looked quite relaxed.

"Do you need anything? He said while counting some of the items arranged on the shelf. "If you want to meet Verri then I can call him for you."

The sun was stinging as if I could get burned if I didn't wear an umbrella. Right now I'm at the beach with Sora, he's taking me to play here. But there are a lot of people here.

There are many people of different races. Some are surfing, some are sunbathing, playing sand and more. Sora looked so happy, I could see his sparkling eyes. I think he likes the sea.

"Do you want to surf?" Said.

"No, thank you. I don't like water."

"really? All right, I'm not gonna force it. I'm gonna surf so..."

"Yes, enjoy your time."

Sora left me. It's really hot and a lot of people. I think I'll buy a cold drink. After buying drinks I took a walk around the beach. And I stopped when I saw someone.

That person is the person I saw in the store, otherwise the name is Zanir. He seems to be looking at the sea? No, that expression on his face. He was looking at the swimsuit of the woman passing in front of him.

Though Verri told me that he was a respected person but saw him at this time, nothing more than a pervert. I go and sip my drink to look around. I finally stopped in front of the shop selling fish-shaped food.

It smelled so good that I was tempted to buy it. The shopkeeper just picked it up from the frying pan. I bit it and it was really good, it was soft and it was sweet and it was in the fish, I think it was chocolate.

I was tempted to buy it in large quantities and then return to see the state of Sora. But when we separated, everyone ran away from the sea. A woman hit me and I held her by holding her shoulder.

After that the woman broke away and ran as fast as she could. I immediately ran towards the beach to find Sora, I hope he is fine.

I found him with a skateboard that broke in two. His eyes focused on the sea. I approached him and tried to warn him to run.

"Reiki?"

"We have to run." I said, but Sora stayed. "Now!"

I did not understand why he did not keep staring at the sea and a second later there was a loud explosive sound so I turned to the direction of the explosion coming from the sea.

I saw a giant octopus fighting someone. That person was wearing a long black coat and had black hair, he was walking in the sky while continuously avoiding the tentacles that came at him. Occasionally he slashed the tentacles with a light-bladed sword.

The truncated tentacle fell into the sea and created a loud explosive sound but every time the tentacle was cut off, it continued to regenerate rapidly. Although his efforts were in vain but he grinned as if enjoying the fight.

"As expected of the strongest magic knight."

Sora and I turned and found someone very familiar. Not only that I don't like the smell. A black-robed person who tried to kill me a few days ago.

"You?!" I said and Sora at the same time.

"Oh, I never thought I'd see you two here." Said. "What an interesting fate."

I don't know what the goal is this time but it doesn't seem to be me or Sora. I looked at the person who was fighting the giant octopus.

Is that the guy he's after this time? I wanted to attack this freak but somehow my body couldn't deliver.

"Don't worry. You don't have to do unnecessary things." He said with eyes that kept seeing the man fight and the giant octopus.

"Dash!"

Something quickly passed me and attacked the strange man. I was finally able to move again and saw Sora holding a knife in her hand and the strange man was far ahead of us.

"I don't know what you're up to but I'm gonna kill you for trying to hurt an innocent man." Sora said with a growl.

"ahahaha. It's funny, but you can't fight me."

Sora simply disappeared, as did the strange man. I could see the lightning coming and going in the sky, I guess they were fighting at a speed that the naked eye could not see.

I don't know what to do and can only see. If only there was something I could do but I didn't bring my sword so there was nothing I could do. I was upset with myself so I kept thinking about what I could do at a time like this.

I closed my eyes and thought hard but I suddenly heard someone's voice. His voice sounded very soft and familiar.

"Reiki..."

I opened my eyes and looked around to find the origin of the sound. But there was someone calling me around.

"....Ki."

His voice shrank and disappeared.

"Don't. surrender....."

And the voice disappeared. I didn't hear that voice anymore, no matter how many times I tried it the voice really didn't sound anymore.

I took a deep breath and remembered the voice when it had not disappeared. Sora and the strange man finally appeared but Sora was thrown so hard while the strange man stood up as if nothing had happened.

And I turned towards the sea because the voice of the octopus was so loud it was like screaming in pain. The octopus was burning and its entire body was filled with black flames.

He went into the water, but the fire burned him and did not go out even though he was in the water. I can see the guy's face clearly now and it's Zanir. He didn't look tired or bored. It was as if the fight since just a few minutes even though it had been about 2 hours since people were running around.

"It looks like even a sea monster isn't a match for him?" He turned to Zanir and then came back to us. "All right, my job here is done."

The strange man simply disappeared and left no trace behind. I carried the injured Sora and immediately left the beach to treat him as soon as possible.
