They Say, I'm a Liar
Bratajaya Family

The sky began to be orange, as Andreas walked down the path in a luxurious cemetery. A place where both his parents and his beloved wife are together. The wind washed Andreas' face. At each step, the elderly man continued to beg the creator to immediately take him to the side of the wife who had gone home first.

That longing made Andreas more and more crowded by the day. If in the past, he was able to survive, it was all because of the promise he had made to his wife. Now, everything after being fulfilled. The feeling of longing for the elderly man was increasingly stifling.

How do you vent your longing for someone in a different world?

Andreas never thought of any other way, other than to ask that his life be lifted immediately, so that he could be by the side of the wife he so longed for.

It did not feel that the elderly man had walked for thirty minutes. Now, he was right in front of a black luxury car. With a breath that was still panting, the elderly man boarded his luxurious car.

“Live back home,” the command.

“You want to drink, Sir?” ask Jody. Andreas just shook his head. The elderly man threw his gaze. For almost two hours of travel, Andreas continued to look out at the streets out there, blankly staring. I don't know what's on that old man's mind. He no longer has any plans in his life.

Upon arriving at his residence, Andreas slowly stepped foot into his bedroom. The man chose to let go of the fatigue rather than stuffing his stomach which since noon was not filled by any food.

And when dawn broke, behind the door of his room there was a very boisterous sound.

“Kakk .... Grandpa ... Let's wake up Let's have breakfast!”

Andreas massaged his temple. The hunger that had been attacking him since yesterday afternoon, made his head feel a little dizzy. However, hearing the boisterous noise behind his door, the elderly man was forced to step foot, opening the door.

“Kakeeekk!!”

His three grandchildren rushed into Andreas' arms. Closely clutched the body of the elderly man.

“You guys are here? When comes?”

“Newly! Let's eat the cake. Mama has cooked chicken porridge,” oceh Qiana.

“Oh yes? Cook the chicken porridge? Whoa ... Grandpa hasn't eaten your mama's chicken porridge in a long time. Chicken porridge made by your mama is as good as chicken porridge made by your grandmother,” said Andreas.

“Grandmother Melati?” ask Qiana. Andreas shook his head while chuckling.

“Not. His wife is a deceased grandfather. Later, we will see his grave. Qia has never been there, right?”

Qiana shook her head. “Qia has never been to Grandma's grave. His tomb to papa Qia.”

“Iya ... We will all go there. Now, let's eat. Grandpa is very hungry,” Andreas said.

Together with his three grandchildren, Andreas headed for the dining room. Unbeknownst to Andreas, it turns out, the son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren of the elderly man have gathered at his residence.

“Come Pi, eat,” says Ivona. Andreas Bratajaya's youngest son came directly to the father, took the man's arm and led him to the dining chair that had been prepared by Ivander.

“Kata Qia, you cook chicken porridge yes, Qei?”

Andreas nodded his head. The elderly man smiled gently. “Your homemade chicken pulp, similar to the chicken porridge made by your Mami,”.

Ivander and Ivona looked at each other. They now witnessed how much Andreas missed their birth mother so much.

“Then, Papi has to eat a lot,” said Qeiza who now serves a bowl full of chicken porridge with soto sauce and a sprinkling of fried onions, which became Andreas' favorite food.

“You haven't had a month of childbirth, but have cooked this much food, Qei. You should take a lot of rest.”

“Qei assisted several domestic assistants really, Pi. So not too tired,” replied Qeiza.

Andreas nodded his head. The elderly man spooned a full mouthful of chicken porridge into his mouth. Andreas' smile immediately spread wide when eating the porridge.

“Thank you for Qei. This chicken porridge treats a little bit of Papi's longing with your Mami,” Andreas said. Without tears the man flowed. Ivander and Ivona also said to feel the sadness of the father.

“Papi can request to make this chicken porridge at any time. Qei must be willing to make it for Papi,”, said Qeiza. Andreas once again thanked his beloved daughter-in-law.

“You guys gathered here must be Jody who told ya?” andreas asked as soon as they had all gathered in the living room.

“Are you guys not going to work? These little kids don't go to school?”

“No Pi. This afternoon we will all be on holiday here!” squeak Ivona.

“Holiday here? You guys wanna stay here? Didn't we promise to gather every weekend? It's still Wednesday. Weekends are still a few days away!” andreas said astonished.

“Lagian, if only stay here, why should I have a work and school holiday. Just now Papi handed over all the shares to you, but you've blamed the use of power. Take a day off!”

Ivona got up from her seat. The woman stepped up to now just behind the sofa that Andreas was sitting on. Ivona also massaged his father's shoulder.

“Kira is not just an ordinary stay, Pi. But, we'll camp here. As we often did when Mom was still around. Didn't we camp in the side yard a lot? Now, let's do it again.”

Andreas breathed a heavy sigh. The elderly man could not hide the feeling of having to hear Ivona's statement. Camping together in the yard they often do. Those memories now flashed back in Andreas' mind.

“Mami has long since left us, Pi. But, let Papi look around Papi. Now Papi has four children. There's Angga, there's also Qei. Now, Papi even has four grandchildren. We all love Papi. We all still need Papi,” Ogre Ivona.

The feeling of haru now enveloped the family room.

Shortly afterwards, Jody came with several people who were in charge of preparing for the Bratajaya family camp event. The middle-aged man had arranged in such a way, so that the Bratajaya family members could sleep very comfortably in the dome tent to be made. A fifteen-day-old baby was staying there. The tent should feel super comfortable.

It wasn't just a tent set up by Jody. Grilling equipment and a pin bonfire were also prepared.

The most expensive foam mattresses became their bedding tonight, accompanied by portable air conditioners and also an anti-mosquito net installed around the tent, there will be no insects that can enter the big tent.

“This is the most luxurious camp that Papi has ever felt,” said the elderly man while chuckling.
