Chapter 3 Hostages

Zhen Yuan continued on his way, he did not intend to remain in the city of Dimitri. Although after traveling space and time made his strength decrease to just reaching the Mystical Master realm, however it was enough to match the three third layer Mystical cultivators possessed by the three powers present in Dimitri city.

But unfortunately the mayor did not allow Zhen Yuan to leave. Just as he stepped out of the restaurant, four people who were in the Mystical realm surrounded and stopped his path.

Zhen Yuan raised his eyebrows, he knew the four were from the mayor as having the same emblem as the guards who made a ruckus earlier.

Two of them were Early mystic cultivators, while the other two had strength in the second layer of the Mystic realm. Seeing Zhen Yuan being surrounded by the four made many people there choose to dodge even acting as if they did not see them. Clearly they were afraid of the mayor's coat of arms that was on his fourth back, for ordinary people or weak cultivators they would try not to intersect with the three supreme powers known to have some Mystical cultivators and led by a Mystical cultivator of the third layer.

“If you do not want to regret then it is better not to block my path!” zhen Yuan said coldly.

The four laughed, “Arogan once! Young miss has sent us here to teach you a lesson.” The figure of the burly youth who was also a mystic cultivator of the early layers said.

“Whatever you are from, you have violated and insulted our young lady. You should be punished” This time the figure of a middle-aged man who was a second layer mystic cultivator moved. After saying such punitive sentences, he moved swiftly towards Zhen Yuan and intended to give his strongest attack until Zhen Yuan fell and was unable to resist.

The people around felt the air freeze as the sword appeared while the three mystic cultivators behind trembled in fear. The burly youth's face was deathly pale looking at the incredible sword in front of Zhen Yuan.

How are they not scared? Their comrades who were currently attacking Zhen Yuan were now crushed unceasingly after sensing a single movement from the sword that appeared in special tears. When his partner was killed, the special tears closed again as if they had never appeared there because they had no trace left.

Zhen Yuan sneered at the three, he knew that the three of them might have known of the Zhen Yuan technique which had reached the Mystic technique along with his understanding of the profoundness of the flying sword laws which had reached Perfect Yellow law comprehension.

Each level is further divided into Yellow, Profound, Earth, sky and divine. Which each level will be mastered slowly by going through several stages such as Basic, Middle, Advanced, Peak to Perfect. After undergoing the five stages will continue at the next level starting from the basic stage again.

The current Zhen Yuan had comprehended the Understanding of the lightning element reaching the Elementary Profound level which was also his strongest comprehension at the moment. Meanwhile the Understanding Flying Sword and his Emperor Spear were second in line who had also reached the Perfect Yellow Level not far from the next level.

As for the other two depths namely Water and Fire which was the weakest comprehension of laws possessed by Zhen Yuan. Both of them had only reached the Yellow Peak comprehension. Even so if Zhen Yuan used both of them simultaneously, he could offset his comprehension with either the Emperor Spear or the flying sword.

Back again in the real world, Zhen Yuan looked at the three who were currently filled with fear. They did not expect that Zhen Yuan possessed such a high technique as well as his magical comprehension. As powerful Mystical cultivators, they were only under the mayor so had plenty of opportunities to exchange information with other mystic cultivators at large gatherings.

In addition they also understand the depth of the law that reaches the basic yellow understanding so as to understand the depth of the law well. As soon as they witnessed the profoundness of the laws that Zhen Yuan displayed, the three realized that even their leader would not be able to take a single move from his attack.

“Master, forgive us! We have been deceived by our own young miss” The three of them are not ashamed to prostrate in front of Zhen Yuan despite the many pairs of eyes that witnessed it. For them, reputation would be useless if they died today.

Zhen Yuan looked at the three, “I will release you if you are able to exchange the same valuable things as the lives you have” Zhen Yuan said.

The three looked at each other, they felt a little ambiguous because they felt their lives were the most precious thing they had. No treasure could match him. While on the other hand, they did not want Zhen Yuan to kill them so they had to provide a lot of treasure for their lives. That way they will not provide a cheap ransom but also not too expensive.

Zhen Yuan shook his head slowly, he waved his hand which instantly as well as a super strong energy locked the three of them in a transparent water bubble.

“I'm sure you guys have contacted the mayor so I have no doubt he will come and pay the ransom, unless your mayor is too afraid to come here” Zhen Yuan shook his head slowly, he re-enters the restaurant while the three are left with a transparent bubble prison.

All three looked down embarrassed, they were looked at by many people and humiliated for not being able to do anything but in the day they were grateful for still being able to save their lives longer.  The three did not attempt to break the transparent bubble thinking it was a wasteful thing, if Zhen Yuan alone could kill a second layer Mystical cultivator so easily then breaking the bubbles he made was impossible. However the three of them would not have expected if Zhen Yuan had only created an ordinary bubble that could be easily crushed even by a Wise cultivator.
