Chapter 2 The Mayor's Company

“Hey, why are you?!” A friend of the guard hurriedly approached the guard lying on the restaurant floor. “Wake up if you don't want to get into trouble” he said once more while shaking his friend's body. It was a pity that no reply made his friend feel that something was wrong. He then examined his friend's pulse and heartbeat, his face immediately turned bad.

“Deceased!” He shook his head slowly before coming to his senses and turned to look at Zhen Yuan who was now sitting leisurely looking at him with a smile that somehow he felt fear, Zhen Yuan's smile was terrifying in his opinion.

“What have you done to him?!” The guard retreated slowly but still asked Zhen Yuan a question.

Zhen Yuan shrugged both his shoulders, “I haven't even moved yet yet he's too weak!”

The guards stood in fear, this time no one approached when they had previously put on a cruel and fierce face but now shrieked like they had no guts. Zhen Yuan shook his head slowly, he was a little disappointed but did not continue and returned to eating the food that had been served by the restaurant owner.

Meanwhile, the guards became awkward. They had originally entered valiantly and expelled everyone in the restaurant but now stood in confusion as they were unable to repel a young man.

Not long ago, a guard with a straighter posture and the strength he exuded was quite high, a peak sage cultivator. He seemed to be the leader of the guards reprimanding inside the restaurant.

“Excuse me sir, may I find out who your identity is so that we can greet you properly here?” Say it politely.

Originally the guard leader wanted to expel the young man after hearing the reports of his men if one dared not listen to their orders. However when he came and saw the corpse of one of his men made him slightly burned with anger.

Fortunately one of his men came and gave an explanation that the young man had not even moved yet but the officer had died and was no longer alive. A person capable of killing a sage cultivator with just a thought was not even capable of being done by an ordinary Mystic cultivator, at least their leader was incapable of doing so.

Therefore he argued that if the young man might be an ancestor in disguise, he should be careful not to offend him otherwise their supreme leader might not be able to save him either.

“Why do you want to know my identity? What is it important?!” Zhen Yuan ate the seasoning chicken displayed on his desk. He was slightly disturbed by the arrival of the guard leader. He thought killing one of them would have a deterrent effect on the other but he seemed wrong.

The guard leader was silent, he was at a loss as to what kind of response. On one side, though, he wanted to know his identity so as to verify it with the supreme leaders or if he just bullied and used a trick to kill one of his members then he would not let the young man off the hook today.

“Master, I just want to know. Besides we're escorting one of the talented students owned by Mayor Dimitri, it's possible that if he and the mayor find out where you are, we can make an amazing banquet in the city of Dimitri.”

“You're escorting one of Walikote Dimitri's talented students? Yet I saw you were just escorting a prostitute” Zhen Yuan changed his gaze out of the restaurant.

The guard leader gulped his saliva. If it was someone else then he would immediately kill him in front of everyone. But the young man said it casually without fear even after he said the identity of the person he was guarding.

“Master, you can't say such a thing. Although he often does bad things as you say but he's one of the talented students who belong to our mayor's house. If it's someone else then”

Not yet finished he said his sentence, a dislike voice from the female sounded and cut. “Then you have to kill him, I don't know who this guy would dare to give me the title of a whore?!”

The woman who spoke came out of the guard line. She wears sexy clothes with her thighs and chest almost completely exposed.

“I'm sorry young miss” The guard leader looked down respectfully apologizing.

“You don't have to apologize, if you kill him now then I'll forgive” said the woman in annoyance.

The guard leader again swallowed his growing saliva in his mouth. It was very desirable for him to take it out and spit it all into the woman's face. Of course he would not dare to do such a bold thing in front of everyone.

“Hmph! Do you want me to kill him?” Zhen Yuan chuckled softly and said to the guard leader.

The guard leader shook his head, “Master, forgive us. We're leaving right now. Sorry for interrupting your lunch”

The guard leader then ordered all of his members out of the restaurant. Either his warrior instinct tells him that he has to get out right now if he doesn't want something bad to happen.

Zhen Yuan shook his head slowly, he had just wanted to use the murderous aura he had to scare the guards and their leaders away if it did not come out for a few more seconds. Fortunately the leader may feel a bad feeling and move quickly. While the young lady who was nothing more like a prostitute was forcibly pulled by the guard leader.
