The Youth Life Maze

Jakarta

Today, July 11th, Aithan and I have finally decided to go to Jakarta now. Aithan and I will stay there for as long as possible, until the announcement results.

I've also said goodbye to my family, Aruna as usual, she's still very, very spoiled when I know, I'll be gone for up to 1 week. My mom and dad gave me permission.

And yes, because now is the time for students to choose to go to the High School of their choice, so students can still be considered to have a day off, because the new semester has not yet begun.

I was at Aithan's house at the moment, we were both ready to go to our destination, Jakarta. We leave at 10:30.

Aithan and I drove away in Aithan's father's car, driven by Aithan's family's private driver of course. And then we left too

During the trip I talked about many things with Aithan, one of which was how happy I was when I got permission to try to attend Saibou Inter High School, and Aithan also told me a lot of things including some of his pictures.

After 2 hours Aithan and I chatted non-stop, Aithan finally fell silent, he fell asleep, I fell asleep.

I opened my eyes, "Uhh... How long have I been asleep" I said in a low tone.

I looked towards the window, and saw the sky that was already dark. I also saw a lot of cars on the highway, it looks like there is a traffic jam.

I opened my HP and looked at the clock, "It's 5 o'clock well, uhh, I fell asleep for a long time," I said slowly.

I looked towards Aithan, she was still fast asleep.

I who do not know want to do anything decided to play games on my HP. This traffic jam seems to be quite severe, because I feel, the car can only go at the fastest speed maybe about 20 km/h.

Finally after I played the game for 30 minutes more, Aithan woke up, well at least I have someone I can talk to right now.

"Hmmm... Are we there, Al?" ask Aithan who just woke up.

"Well, we're stuck in traffic, so we're not there yet" I replied.

"Ohh, it's stuck. E-eh, we're stuck in traffic!???" Aithan seemed very surprised, well when stuck in traffic like this was a natural thing in my opinion.

"You don't have to be that surprised, I think it's only natural if it happens, right?"

Aithan looked a little calm, "Yes, yahh, you might be right. Mr Edo, what time are we going to Jakarta?" ask Aithan. Mr. Edo is the personal driver of the Aithan family.

Mr. Edo seemed to think for a moment, "Hmm, chances are we'll get to our destination by 10pm, well that's still my prediction anyway, young master," he replied.

"Well, if 10 hours is still an estimate, maybe we will get to Jakarta can be more than that, I see," I said.

"Yep, that's how it is, son Alvaro is right," said Mr. Edo.

Aithan looked disappointed, "Eehhhh, that long?? If that's all that time, what are we gonna do during the trip??"

"Crucks, crutches," a very loud sound came out from Aithan's stomach. "Ahahaa, btw, we haven't eaten anything by noon yet right?? So, now I'm really hungry...."

Mr. Edo just laughed, "Hahaha, you are really funny, young master, take it easy, the madam has prepared a lot of snacks and side dishes and rice, take it in the back seat there," said Mr. Edo.

"Asshiiik, dinner" said Aithan.

Aithan also took a very large lunchbox, the lunch box was filled with several snacks and also a lot of side dishes.

Aithan also greedily ate some snacks, after which he immediately took 1 serving of rice.

"Now, let's eat together, I know you must be hungry, right??" he said while offering the food he was eating.

"Umm, just eat first, I eat later, hehe," said I who was holding back hunger. I'm a little embarrassed.

"Heehh, well, if that's what you want," Aithan also greedily ate in front of me who was hungry.

Aithan seemed to want to mute me, she deliberately ate intending to tempt me to eat as well, she deliberately devoured her food with sounds like when people mukbang. It made me really want to eat too.

"Come, come on, don't be shy to eat, eat, there's also a lot of nihh," Aithan immediately wanted to feed me fried shrimp flour.

"Now, aaaaa, come on, let's open her mouth."

Aithan really mocked me. I immediately took the shrimp in Aithan's hand and I ate.

"Ahahaha, you're so strong."

"Geez."

Since my stomach that was completely hungry could not be compromised, I also ate with Aithan.

After eating, Aithan and I decided to play a game, we both played fps games, because it was my favorite game and also arguably me and Aithan are a very great duo. And I and Aithan also managed to win the game in the first game, his intention was only to play 1 game, but see the state of traffic jams are still quite long, we continued to play until 5 games.

I saw the clock on my phone, when I saw it was 21:22. After being stuck in traffic for about 4 hours, at least that's what I know, if the truth I don't know because of sleeping, we finally have not been stuck in traffic anymore.

Knowing that, Aithan and I decided to go back to sleep. Finally we arrived in Jakarta, now it is 12.

"Hahahah, this is Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia," said Aithan who was excited when he woke up from his sleep.

"Huhh, until we are well," I said.

Aithan and I are already in front of the apartment that will be occupied for the next 1 week. Mr. Edo helped move our luggage. Finally after finishing cleaning my luggage and Aithan, Mr. Edo intended to go straight home, but since it is very late now I think it is better to stay with me and Aithan today.

After finishing cleaning the luggage was immediately relaxed in the room. Since we only booked 1 room in this apartment which only had 1 room, Aithan and I shared one bedroom, which was equipped with two mattresses, where I sleep on top mattress and Aithan sleeps on bottom mattress.

Shortly after I relaxed on my bed, I fell asleep again and went back to sleep.

The morning came, I who usually wake up at 5 when I woke up at 8. I was a little surprised to see the clock coming down from my bed, I went straight to the living room. There, I saw Aithan who was sitting relaxing on the sofa while eating a snack.

Then, Aithan saw me, "Yoo, you've woken up to the sleepyhead."

"Uhh, this is the first time in my life to wake up so far" I replied.

"Hahahah, what if we go around here, all around here," he asked.

"Come on, I'm going for a walk, too" I replied.

We both walked around the apartment. The clear sky and warm morning sunshine greeted us as we stepped out. Fresh and cool air enveloped us as we walked down the quiet streets. Around us, we saw rows of modern buildings and shady trees.

The atmosphere around feels alive with the activities of residents who began to move. The sound of car horns in the distance, and the smell of coffee from the shops on the side of the road tempts our senses. We both enjoyed the moment, had fun and talked while looking at the shops and interesting places around.

"Hey Al, want to buy something before we go home?" ask Aithan.

"Hmm, what do you want to buy before you go home?"

"What if we buy takoyaki?" asked Aithan who was a little excited.

"Come on, there's a takoyaki shop, there" I said, pointing to the crowded takoyaki shop.

"Yumoo!"

Then, we headed straight to the store and lined up while waiting for our turn. Before long, we had bought a takoyaki, and went straight back to the apartment.

Back at the apartment, Aithan and I sat in the living room enjoying the takoyaki purchased earlier.

"This Takoyaki, it's delicious too yah," I said as I chewed takoyaki.

Aithan nodded in agreement, "Well, you really deserve the store was quite crowded earlier."

"What if we go to Saibou Inter High School? All around there," asked Aithan.

"Well, I'd like to take a look at Saibou Inter High School up close, too" I said.

"Okee, if so it's decided well," Aithan said enthusiastically.

Then it was over and we both had fun on our second day in Jakarta, and I was hoping a lot of great things would happen during my time in Jakarta.
