Ch. 4 - Player
Arvus's eyes widened. He was surprised, but speechless when he heard and knew that Auctrix was nearby. Fragmentally, he turned his head towards Auctrix.
The door suddenly opened. The chipper came by pushing a food stroller. "Ohoh, it's up" said Chipper who stopped near Arvus. "After breakfast, meet me in the basement" Auctrix closed her book and moved away from her seat. Auctrix walked away leaving Arvus alone with the Chipper.
"Aren't you going to eat?" chipper asked in a normal voice, but it sounded quite loud. Arvus immediately slammed his face towards Chipper and he was surprised not to play when he saw the face of Chipper who was very close to his face. Horror, is the right word about how to describe his feelings at that time.
"Bahaha! Are you surprised?' chipper laughs while pouring a glass of milk and opening the food cover. A very tempting smell directly pierced into Arvus' nostrils. Arvus' stomach rang so loud that it could be heard clearly by the Chipper.
"You must have not eaten for a long time,"- thrusting a plate containing food into Arvus-"eat!" chipper said with a smile. Both Arvus hands without him knowing it was willing to reach the plate. His hands were trembling, a combination of hunger and fear.
Tep ... his hand has touched the plate thrust by Chipper.
"HAVE IT FINISHED?!" Chipper was surprised with glaring eyes at how quickly Arvus spent the food he had just touched. Arvus. Staring at his already empty plate with an equally empty look. The chipper slightly sighed and closed his eyes. He took a second portion for Arvus.

Breakfast time is over. The empty stomach of Arvus has been completely filled. The food in the stroller was gone. Chipper looks happy and satisfied because the food is exhausted and can be enjoyed greedily by someone.
"Oh, don't forget to meet Mr. Auctrix in the basement" said Chipper, who then closed the door from the outside. Arvus nodded his head slowly and then clenched his hands together. He bit his lips until they bled a little.
Accept reality! Your name is now Arvus, and you .. have not been in your old world! Accept ... accept that reality! inner Arvus snapped at him.
Ngeet ... door opened by Arvus. He walked out secretly and slowly. Just one step he retraced, suddenly something rather chewy felt at his feet. Arvus looked down, checking what he was stepping on.
Da-meat .. meat ... meat a-what is this?! inner Arvus who then tries to resist nausea. Suddenly, the memory of what he saw last night flashed with great clarity. Making him very want to vomit, even his vomit water had almost come out, but he swallowed back. He did not want to dirty the place that was already dirty for him.
Sparks of blood everywhere, hands and limbs arranged rather neatly on the table nearby were meat knives plugged in, and the head that hung with the eyes of a dead fish opened with the mouth that was also open. Arvus has to go through all of those things. Resisting his nausea with a hand that continued to cover his mouth. Not to mention the stench that stung.
Ladder ... where are the stairs?! inner Arvus with eyes that begin to glaze over. Tep ... accidentally Arvus nudged something. Arvus turned his head in the direction he was nudging. The large-bodied figure with the right hand of the robot turned towards him (Arvus).
"Oh, you're awake apparently. Mr. Auctrix is waiting for you in the basement" said the man who carried Arvus. Arvus was only speechless seeing the Man Carrying Arvus speak. Out of nowhere, it suddenly flashed in the man's mind that the reason Arvus only fell silent because he had not introduced himself. With a pretentious innocent face, he said, "I understand .. You must be afraid of people you don't know yet, right? Ahahaha, sorry. My name is Rodri, nice to meet you." and stretched out his hand trying to invite Arvus to shake.
This ... is really a robot hand ...? inner Arvus was a little amazed and could not believe seeing the hand-shaped iron being extended towards him. Seeing Arvus' reaction, Rodri again thinks that Arvus is speechless looking at his hand. "Ahahaha, this hand is cool isn't it?" rodri said with his PD.
"I'll make it clear later on that you want to have hands like this. Now, you go down those stairs. Mr. Auctrix has been waiting for you since" said Rodri pointing at the stairs. Arvus saw Rodri's index finger pointed. The old stairs leading to the basement with the same bloodstains were all around him.
Arvus gulps. He convinced himself to follow Rodri's directions and slowly began walking towards the basement. Dark, there were only small torches with far distances. As if made only to show the way, not illuminate the way. Holding onto the wall, Arvus walked down the stairs slowly.
After walking for about 30 seconds, Arvus saw a bright light below. As he sped up his steps and saw, Auctrix was standing facing the bookshelf with her right hand carrying several books.
"Sit down." Auctrix picked up one last book and walked over to the chair she used to sit in. Arvus looked at the empty sofa facing directly against the chair where Auctrix was sitting. Auctrix placed the stack of books she had selected onto the table, which limited the distance between Arvus' couch and his chair. "Sit down." Auctrix took one book and opened one of the pages.
A frightened Arvus obeyed the order. He sat down swiftly and Auctrix began his story.
"Two years ago, there was an event called the "World Changer". That is the event when you, the players are trapped in the world that you think of as a game. A transparent wall with an invisible end, suddenly appeared and made all players speechless. And after that, the players are moved to various places randomly.
Arvus fell silent with a gawk. The red semi-transfacing wall he had seen, instantly flashed through his mind. "Wall ... is ... is the wall red?" asked Arvus who raised his head and looked at Auctrix. For the first time, Auctrix showed an expression she had never shown. His eyes slightly widened, his mouth involuntarily starting to open.
"Where ... Do you know that?" ask Auctrix. "I'm a new player, very new. I just made a character and walked a few minutes. I met someone and met him. Then, shortly after we got acquainted, a semi-transparent red wall appeared and passed us by.
"As you said, everything became silent. Just like the one who just met me ...." Arvus suddenly stopped talking and looked down again. His hands clutching his knees. People who know me ... Monat! the new Arvus mind remembers the figure of Monat. "Tu-Mr Auctrix! What ... do you know of a Player named Monat?" asked Arvus enthusiastically.
"Monat? I've never heard of it. What's her stature like?" ask Auctrix. "He had a large body, probably about two feet tall. She ... she was wearing red clothes like a samurai! Then ... on his left waist was a cool katana and on his back was a weapon I didn't know his name. But, that's so cool! It's white with a red line" Arvus said enthusiastically.
For the first time Auctrix saw Arvus "living". For the past three days, Arvus was always asleep with facial expressions that were like having nightmares. And when the first day he came, he put on an expression that was no less fearful than the expression shown when he slept. However, the fact that he did not know of a figure named Monat, made Auctrix forced to extinguish the spirit that had flared on Arvus.
"So yeah .. apparently you don't know." said Arvus with a lethargic face. Auctrix smiled faintly and said, "I'll find out. However, instead, I want you to practice. Level up and try to adapt to your new world. How's it?" ask Auctrix with an Arvus hand. Arvus thoughtlessly immediately shook hands with Auctrix, signaling some sort of signing of agreement between them.
From the outside, Chipper; Rodri; and the Man Who Takes Arvus eavesdrop on the conversation at hand. They looked at each other and put on happy expressions, even to the point of each other. Auctrix glanced sharply at the entrance and instantly made Chipper and the other two people flee in fear.

Arvus had finished talking to Auctrix. His fear of Auctrix had already begun to decline. He walked up the stairs, leaving Auctrix in the room alone.
That child .. hahaha, my eyes are really not wrong look. Inner Auctrix with a little laugh and return the books that are on the bookshelf.
Arvus stopped in the middle of the road. He who remembered the disgusting scenery and the stinging smell that was in the main/center room, back goosebumps. He walked slowly, trying to strengthen mentally and familiarize himself with the scenery that might be in front of him, becoming his daily scenery. However, all the shadows disappeared when he saw how shiny the room he thought would be very disgusting.
"Ohoh, how? Cool right?" said Chipper who suddenly appeared near Arvus. "Whoah!" Arvus was shocked to the point of almost falling. "Aahaha! Get used to living in this house. Maybe this house is ugly and old, but in this house you will stay. And this house too, your place to return." said Chipper who was suddenly wise and made Arvus gaping in amazement and wonder.
"Oh, yeah. Have you met everyone here?" ask Chipper by embracing Arvus. Aruvs shook his head. "Then I'll introduce you!" Chipper enthusiastically brings Arvus into a room. "Yes! The new boy has arrived!" chipper shouted right after slamming the door.
The silence ... atmosphere became very awkward. In the room, Rodri and the Man carrying Arvus are wiping their weapons. The position that seemed to say "Don't disturb" made Arvus become somewhat frightened. Not to mention, their heads were raised slowly and instantly staring at Arvus and Chipper.
"Oh! New Kid! Are you done talking to Mr. Auctrix?" rodri asked with a drastically changed expression. Arvus nodded. "Ah, so .. oh, yes. Have you met this guy?" rodri asked with a thumbs up to the Man Who Takes Arvus. The man waved his hand at Arvus, trying to look friendly.
Arvus shook his head. Rodri patted the shoulder of the Man who was carrying Arvus as if telling him to approach Arvus. The man understood the code and walked up to Arvus.
"I'm Zarvi, nice to meet you" Zarvi said with a big smile until his eyes were out of sight.
