The Waiting of Alya's Love

Chapter 9

Alya's career shone again despite only two weeks working at the law firm. He returns to be the golden son of the boss. Always given the confidence to accompany the superior in handling big cases.

In the second week, Alya was again trusted to handle the case. It just so happened that the case made him have to go in and out of the police station. This makes the chances of Alya meeting with Rendra and Reno very big.

Today, Alya has to meet her client at the police station. Her client was a housewife of a KDRT victim who killed her husband in self-defense. The woman is currently being held by police.

After conducting an interview with her client, Alya meets with the police chief to discuss the problems the client faces. As he exited the police chief's room, Alya saw the ex walking towards him. Reno was about to face the police chief.

Alya could not dodge anymore because the room was at the end of the hall. Both felt awkward when they walked. It felt like the girl disappeared with the help of a doraemon, but it was too late. Reno was already standing straight in front of him.

Alya just nodded her head to greet the memory-lost ex. Nodding his head back with a nod and a smile from Reno. This, made Alya's chest back rustle like there were millions of butterflies tickling her stomach.

When Alya was in the lobby, Rendra suddenly appeared from the side so that he surprised the girl.

"Hi, Pretty! What's up? Tumben came here," said Rendra to the woman who had made her heart fall down so much after so long.

"There needs to be a client. Long time no see, handling what case now?" alya replied which culminated with a question as a pleasantries.

"Still drug and robbery cases. Lately it's been getting more reckless, hehehe!"

"Jengan 'kan expert, so it is trusted to handle the case," praised Alya with a smile.

Rendra shook her head smiling at the compliments of the woman. She felt like she was flying into the blue sky because of the praise that had just come out from Alya's sweet lips. All this time the girl had always been cold to him, suddenly praising him.

"Not yet, I'm not that expert. There are still many more experts, such as Reno for example. Only bad luck was on his side at that time" said Rendra humbled.

"Hmm, sorry did not mean ...," added Rendra nervously after waking up to mention the name of his best friend who had a good performance.

Alya simply smiled in response to the nervousness of the man in the brown uniform in front of her.

"It's okay. I say retreat there are still some jobs waiting in the office" said Alya while saying goodbye to the young police.

After Alya died, Rendra's mind laughed at the thought of being able to be with the girl who had just left the place. Rendra's daydreams fell apart instantly as Reno patted him on the shoulder.

"Who's dream? During the day like this daydreaming, "reproved Reno while patting Rendra's shoulder slowly, but quite a shock.

"Dreamunnya former people," replied Rendra origin.

"Edyan kowe?" reno said as he passed away leaving Rendra back alone.

A week had passed, Rendra kept trying to get close to Alya. Although the beautiful girl was cold to him, but she did not give up. Rendra was even more challenged to get Alya.

Rendra was sure that someday, she would get Alya's heart. Currently it only takes a struggle in order to materialize into a female companion that makes her fall in love.

Meanwhile, Reno has begun to remember back about Alya though not all. However, Reno still kept it a secret in order to keep his wife's feelings. Even though she doesn't love Aluna completely, she has to keep her feelings in check.

Alya was indeed the one who reigned in Reno's heart, but she was already the past. Aluna is his wife, his future. Although sick, but he must be willing to bury his feelings deeply and make the past as the most beautiful memories.

Three years is not a short time to forget. Although it has tried to bury the feeling, but the feeling can never be lost so. Sometimes a sense of longing ambushed him.

Reno comes to places full of memories while with Alya because he misses Alya. His love for Alya is still there. He married Aluna and soon they will have a child.

"Al, if time could be played back. I want to refuse that job! We can definitely be happy at this time," thoughtful Reno.

Every time there is an opportunity after work, Reno takes the time to go to places that leave sweet memories with Alya. One day in this place, another tomorrow to a different place. It always ends with tears of regret for not being able to have the idol.

Reno often comes home late because she always stopped by a place full of history of her love journey. Frequently traveled far, making him ignore his wife at home. Arriving at Reno's house immediately asleep, there was no more chatter between him and his wife.

It's been three weeks, Reno's getting cuckoldier on the wife. There was no more warmth in their homes. This is because the man is not good at lying always appear as is.

Aluna begins to suspect Reno is often away with no news. Not only that, her husband's attitude also turned cold to her. At first he was silent, thinking the husband was tired of working because he had not worked for a long time, maybe his body was shocked. Reno had long since just sat quietly at home, maybe her body was not used to it.

"Mas, can I talk to you for a second?" aluna asked Reno who had just returned from work.

"What do you want to say? Just say it, I'll hear it," replied Reno flatly.

"We haven't talked in a long time, Mom. I miss you" said Aluna. "His grandfather also misses his father who has not been visited for a long time."

Reno gasped unexpectedly if the wife already missed her. Too long he cool down the street full of memories with the ex so that he forgot his wife.

"Why shut up? Why has this changed lately?" cerca Aluna was spoiled, she placed her chest on her husband's arm.

"Mas tired, Luna. Mas did not change really," said Reno quickly so that the wife does not suspect.

"Mas already every weekday, why the holidays also work? Usually we go for a walk or go home to Solo," protested Aluna who was not satisfied with the answer of the husband.

Reno did not know what to answer to his wife. There was no way he would be honest if he had started to recall his past. Lying is also not clever, besides that he also does not want to lie continuously to cover up his current lie.
