Chapter 35

How embarrassed Regina was when she heard the answer from the woman she accused of being an actor. The bule woman immediately apologized to the cafe owner girl 'Rasha'.

Regina doesn't know the real story, if Alya isn't a blood relative. However, the woman believed it without asking or investigating further.

The mother of Bryan's son resigned after apologizing to Alya. He has to go to the hospital tomorrow morning because there is an appointment with a doctor.

"Aunte Regina's face is pale, I hope she's okay" Alya said as the bule woman disappeared from view.

"It looks like he endured the pain earlier. Is he sick, Mom?" tanya Pure chimed.

Mama Listyawati immediately slammed into Alya's arms as soon as she heard that the girl had forgiven her. Really she felt embarrassed for ever underestimating a girl as beautiful and as good as Alya. The guilt further gnawed at his heart.

"What does aunt need to do here? If only to apologize, Auntie should not have taken the time here," asked Alya still in her soft voice.

"Start sick, Alya boy. Ever since we forcibly parted with you two months ago, she's had a fever. His body temperature is never stable, it always goes up and down indeterminate. This has just been rushed back to the hospital before mom came here" Mama Lis said with tears streaming down her cheeks.

Regina was rushed to the hospital upon landing at the airport. Her face was as pale as cotton, even the woman could not walk because her body was so limp.

This is where the man is currently, waiting for his ex-wife to be treated by a doctor. The woman who became Regina's assistant didn't say much, she only said that Regina's age was not long. Hearing the story, Bryan chose to wait for the doctor to finish examining the former.

The doctor came out after half an hour of checking on Regina.

"Regina Paul's family?"

Bryan and Laura walked over to the doctor. Both claim to be Regina's family. Regina actually has no one, except a friend who is the manager as well as Bryan and his son.

"How's he doing, Doc?"

"He should not be too tired and have too many thoughts. Looks like my advice for a complete break was not heard and let alone executed...."

"Not run, Doc. He was actually in a depressed state at the moment. Her husband accuses her of cheating on him and divorcing him without hearing Regina's explanation. Their son is currently also being treated at this hospital so he is exhausted," Laura said, explaining Regina's true condition.

Regina was placed in the same room as her son, Starla. The little girl woke up when the sound of a gurney was pushed into her room, but only a few minutes later fell asleep. Starla immediately cried when she saw her father and mother.

Regina was still unconscious when she was transferred to her son's room. The doctor deliberately gave him sleeping pills to get plenty of rest and his mind was calm. All of this is for the sake of his health which is declining drastically.

Laura invites Bryan out of the room as soon as Starla falls back asleep. He had to tell Bryan the truth about his best friend. Then the story flowed from the mouth of Regina's best friend.

Regina was forced to take the job to Europe. He had to undergo treatment to kill the cancer cells that gnawed at his body. In order to live with her child and husband longer, she must seek treatment immediately.

Regina deliberately chose Europe because someone happened to offer her a job. While diving for water, that was the plan of Starla's mother. However, Bryan instead accused her of cheating.
