The Virgin Widow of the Solehah

The Virgin Widow of the Solehah
Chapters 12. Misguided

“Papa never educated you to be this kind of cowardly man who doesn't know by his name retort! Maybe our family's good name will be a mockery of the whole world if until someone knows if you fail to marry because you were left behind by your own future wife! You should have thanked Adinda, instead of always being rude to her and disrespectful to her just because of her status as a maid.” Mr. Suryo spoke so loudly with one of his forefinger in front of Reza's face.

The middle-aged man really felt very disappointed because Reza could not appreciate the woman who had been credited with saving his family's good name but instead considered the girl to be nothing more than a mere maid.

Suryo's mother finally stood up and approached her only son, “What your father said is indeed true, if not for Aunt Hanum's family then the good name of our family today has been destroyed because of the actions of the lover you are proud of was run away the day before your wedding! What you're supposed to blame right now is the Kaira family because he's almost embarrassed that bi Hanum doesn't allow his daughter to marry you! Wonderful mama saw you like this, so why are you in high school so you can't distinguish what's good and what's bad, so what's bad for you,” oceh Suryo's mother advised her son because really never thought that it turns out Reza could not treat his wife well.

“Mama so suspicious, just by hearing the curse and also your curse just the same Adinda, mama so very sure .. if you and Adinda must not have touched each other! Mama did make a mistake with your father for forcing you to stay married to save the good name of the Suryo family but that does not mean you have to bully your own wife because after you marry Adinda then all the sadness and also whatever happens with Adinda will be your responsibility until the end!” reprimanding Mother Suryo again terrorizes her son with a message containing advice.

Reza was silent but the man did not listen to anything his parents said at all because in his heart, Adinda was still the son of a maid who was completely unfit to accompany his life! Big no's! That's the mind inside Reza's head.

“Papa will even be very guilty if until you treat Adinda badly. After seeing your behavior that is not at all good as Adinda, it seems like papa was forced to make a will. If you die someday then all your wealth will fall into the hands of Adinda, your wife!” his firmness immediately made both eyes perfectly rounded Reza.

“Pa! Do not make decisions when the head is hot, we should first ponder about sensitive things like this! It's a pity that if he hears of the debate between Papa and Reza, he might leave this house and everyone will blame us including Aunt Hanum and Aisyah. Did you not think of getting there?” Suryo's mother tried her best to persuade her husband not to commit the fatal mistake of regretting for life for giving up all their property to the girl who had become his daughter-in-law.

Reza was only able to bow her head because she would also never deny everything that her Papa had said just now, because deep down in his heart there is still love for Kaira – the former who has disappointed and almost made his family's good name fall apart but still he seems to have forgiven what he has kaira has done it.

‘If you have made my life and future ruined by being forced to marry the son of a maid but why can't I hate you at all, Kaira? Why are you so willing to do all this to me? Is it my fault for you that you cruelly almost destroyed my family's good name, even though we have promised to live forever and will realize all the dreams we ever designed together?’ Riza lent her two eyes and then unknowingly there was a clear grain that fell past her cheek and it could be clearly seen by Surya's mother.

“We never know at all why fate can happen like this but believe me the same mama, if Allah subhanahu wata’ala much more know the best for His servant, son.  So please, please take care of the feelings of Adinda for the sake of mama, at least know your wife well first because she also does not love you at all, right? Try to approach your wife, have a good talk and date after marriage! Mama is very sure that Adinda can be the perfect one to accompany you.” Suryo's mother patted his son's shoulder before passing away.

“Papa knows you are very disappointed but that does not mean you have to take it out on your wife who is completely innocent!” Mr. Suryo also felt so guilty with Adinda because from the beginning the girl also did not want to be married to her son but for the sake of return, the girl was willing to sacrifice her future.
