ARC II: CHAPTER IX

“And what?” Andre interrupted; he thought it was good that Brandon had rambled first, so he no longer needed to think about how to start the conversation.

“L.. Lo have arrived?” Brandon was surprised, in standing from his seat, “Please, cave to the back first,” he then left Andre and Diana to chat together.

“H.. Ha.. Hi, it's been a while, ba... how are you?” Diana, standing up and somewhat stammeredly greeted Andre who was taking a seat on the sofa in front of her.

Andre's current gaze was clearly like he did not care about the hospitality that Diana showed, he showed a cold attitude even though Diana had already smiled at him.

“I don't think we're that close to asking each other the news, do we?” said Andre with a flat face. Although in truth, deep in his heart, there were many things he wanted to ask Diana.

Diana snorted, she smiled faintly, “Hmph. You are still the same as before. Always be cold to others except those closest to you, just like back then,” he said more casually this time.

‘like that time’ heard Diana say those words, Andre suddenly recalled the memories of the two of them first; a time when the two of them were joking with each other laughs, walking together while holding hands, go on holiday together to Bali with his family.

Diana sighed first before starting to speak, “So..”.

Diana begins by telling her relationship with Tony is messy, because from the beginning Tony really just wants to use it. However, he did not tell me about what happened when he was dating Andre and why they both broke up.

After all the short history, Diana continued with the incident a week before Andre's return to Indonesia. At the time, he overheard Tony's conversation with someone on the phone. Not daring to get too close, he could only find out if Tony was threatening someone, no matter who it was.

Not until there, the day before Andre's return, he again heard Tony say “Follow the person, lest there be a single moment missed”.

Yunita, who had been listening to Diana's story from behind the wall, felt unbearable. He then approached Diana and hugged her.

Andre then stood up and walked to the kitchen, but stopped for a while, “Eat first before going home, You can also stay here if you are afraid to go home,” he said back.

She doubted Diana's words. However, Diana's expression looked terrified; from the movement of her eyes, it was enough to make her conscience move.

Yes, after all her house does have 4 bedrooms—other than the main bedroom—so there is no harm in letting Diana stay overnight, especially when she sees Yunita who seems to empathize with Diana.

After finishing eating, Yunita and Diana who were relaxing by the pool looked increasingly familiar after the vent session earlier. Having the same problem, sometimes can make someone become more understanding and more familiar.

Andre— who was relaxing with Brandon on the balcony of the reading room on the 2– floor was quite happy with the progress he saw before his eyes right now.

And after Brandon beckoned ‘ok’ with his hand, Andre raised the mysterious call and installed it in loudspeaker mode.

“What do you want huh?!” Andre soon finds out that Tony's voice doesn't change much from the last time they met at a party 10 years ago.

“Hoho, look who this is. What is it until someone important like Director Tony calls me?” a little sarcastic, Andre brought up Tony who was already a Director.

“Not much pleasantry, just say what you want until Diana comes to your house?”

“Wah, that fast? New feeling a few hours he's here,” he's trying to tease Tony back, ”Why? Is there a dangerous secret of yours that Diana knows? Pretty interesting,”

He then lay down on his lazy chair while closing his eyes. Actually, he already had a little picture of what he would do tomorrow, only he had not thought of his next plan if tomorrow everything worked out.

Leaving Brandon and Andre. Yunita and Diana who were sitting by the pool were busy chatting about Andre's past which was full of silliness. Yunita felt that Diana was actually a good person to talk to, rarely did she find someone she could clop with when spoken to.

His status as an artist, sometimes affects his social life. The person he spoke to freely regardless of his image could be counted on the finger. So, when talking to Diana who is very connected and like not seeing her as an artist, she quite likes Diana and wants to be more friends with her.

“You, why did you break up with Andre? Though if I see you the person is quite good,” Yunita who can not resist her curiosity, trying to ask a pretty disturbing thing in her heart, “If it is too sensitive, then, it's okay if you don't want to tell a story,” he added when he saw the look on Diana's face that slightly changed.

Diana then sighed, gazing towards the slightly bright orange afternoon sky, before finally answering, “Okay, it may have been her fate that we both were. She is not my soul mate, but your soul mate,” a faint smile graced Diana's face as she spoke.

“Hah,” Yunita breathed a long breath, “I understand very rich feeling how,” heard Diana's explanation, Yunita again remembered the story first when she was just dating Andre.
