The Unconsidered Bungsu

The Unconsidered Bungsu
CHAPTER 14 He Shoots Me

After the RW Art Performance event the other day, Widi and I met often. Either by chance or he intentionally I don't know. But every time I wait for an angkot when I go to work, he'll be there. After the first payday I did often ride the angkot because it is not tasty nebeng continue to be the same mbak Murni.

"For Aira ! You want to go, huh ?" This morning Widi greeted me. He's been hanging out on his bike.

"Have known it" I replied with a laugh.

"Want to hear your voice. Can you ?" he gave an excuse.

"I'm a bird in the morning to hear his voice" I said, pursing my lips.

Widi laughed at my behavior.

"I'll take you ! All go to work. It just so happens we're in the same direction." He offered himself. I hesitated to accept his offer. But if I refuse later I can misfortune because from earlier there has been no angkot passing.

"Come on ! Don't be afraid I don't bite you," he said, joking. I got blushed. I finally accepted his offer.

Before long the motorbike was speeding through the crowded highway in the morning.

At school I got down and Widi passed to her workplace. He worked a year ago. He's 2 years above me. Graduated from High School he was a 1-year course and went straight to work.

"Assalamualaikum Miss Aira." Adit and Riski ran to greet me. They kissed my hand and kissed me. The other kids don't miss out on loving me either.

"Bu Aira, get a greeting from Oom Raffi," cried Adit suddenly. I was shocked for a moment too. I coded Adit by sticking a finger on his lips.

Adit was instantly speechless but like holding back a laugh.

Fortunately, not much has come.

" Ciyeee, who was delivered by a guy now gets a greeting too. Must be confused which one to choose."

Dishonuh ! It turned out that Ms. Riris heard Adit's call. He stood at the door so he could hear Adit speaking loudly earlier.

"That was my neighbor Miss Riris. It just so happens that we're in line so he's hitchhiking" I explained. I stepped in to put my briefcase. Then together with Mrs Heni accompanied the students to play in the classroom. Ms. Murni and Ms. Diyah were talking in the Kepsek's office.

Moments later they both came out and took the students into the classroom. The lesson begins.

Sausai all the chores I do it's time for me to go home. Just coming out of the gate suddenly stopped a motor that I had memorized right in front of me. Widi took off her helmet. He nodded and smiled at Murni and the others.

Ehem. Started Riris and Heni's mom teasing me.

"Will I go home, Aira? let's go up !" He asked me to ride his bike.

"Kok you bother to pick me up anyway, I'll be able to ride the angkot." I reveal the reason.

"I don't bother. This is a lunch break" he explained. Again, the reason is correct.

I can't think of anything because again this is just a coincidence. And so was he when he drove me this morning. I also say goodbye to my teacher and the motorbike slides towards the house.

Until the house I change clothes and pray dzuhur. The wudhu water refreshes my face.

After the prayer I continued my duty to help at the food stall.

While eating lunch, the mother who just finished praying dzuhur admonished me.

"Aira, said your brother you often meet with Widi huh?" Mom asked.

" No, ma'am. It's just a coincidence that I'm waiting for an angkot. He's going to work too,"

"But said my friend Tutik you meet every day. He often sees you guys talking if he's sweeping the porch." Ma'am Nia spoke.

Tutik house next to the gate. I often see him sweeping in the morning.

"It doesn't know his name, it's a coincidence. After all, the angkot waiting there is not only me. It's a public place." I defended myself. It's just a coincidence. Ithinkso.

"That's you think. But who knows, Widi is deliberately waiting for you. The reason is to go to work." Nia tried to guess.

"Nia's right. Maybe the kid wants to get close to you. It's not that mom doesn't let you date. But how nice it would be to come here to meet you. Not meet on the road. You still have parents, not street kids." Mother advised.

"But I'm not going out with her, ma'am" I said.

"Dating or not, you don't like both of you and the man in the middle of the road. You said the same to him if you want to talk to play at home. If she likes you, she'll come home." Mother adds length times height.

"Example your sister Nia. Joni never met in the middle of the road.Definitely come to see father and mother."

I'm sure you're comparing me to Nia. Though not necessarily also Widi want to approach me. It might be a coincidence as he said.

______

The next day as I waited for the angkot in the gate. From a distance I saw Widi was heading here on his bike. I turned my eyes the other way, pretending not to know.

"For Aira. As your name is always fresh." He began to launch a fight. Mbak Tutik looked at us while sweeping. I spoke to Widi.

"Emm. sorry before. You should not often meet me dong, not delicious if anyone sees. He thinks we're dating. You see every day even yesterday you even take me to school," I said.

"What if we thought we were dating ?" ask Widi.

"Yes, it's shame. Our people are not dating. Someone told my brother that we are often alone here. My mother also knew and then I was rebuked by my mother. We are just ordinary talk. Uh on misunderstanding." I told Widi what I was going through.

"That's yeah. Okay, so let's not misunderstand what if we really think about them?" said Widi while looking at me.

" Mm... mm.. What do you mean?" How I got so nervous.

"I mean, we're actually dating. So they won't misunderstand me anymore. How's it?" ask again.

"Don't joke ! It's early in the morning too." I was misbehaving.

"I'm serious." He lifted two fingers. I am still confused to hear his words.

"Hey ! Kok even bengong. So what, you wanna be my girlfriend? " Authen repeated his question.

"Said mom, if you really want to approach me you have to come home.Gga can meet on the road like this." Only this sentence can I say. I have not been able to answer Widi's statement too suddenly. And it turns out I had bad luck.

"God! It's almost 7:00. I'll be reprimanded, Miss Diyah, if it's too late ! " i said panic.

"Well let's go up ! don't forget the handle because we'll speed it up so fast, '" he asked.

I immediately hugged in the back. Before long Widi immediately planted his motor gas. I was shocked because he was really speeding. I unconsciously held her waist for fear of falling.
