A Gift for a Son-in-law

"Bara why are you here? Mama will tell you to wait in the room" said Anggi who suddenly appeared in the living room. Bara jumped up and immediately hugged Anggi.

"Ma.sorry Bara. I won't repeat it again. Whatever Bara's gonna do, Bara's gonna ask Mama's permission. Or at least tell my mom. Bara won't hide any secrets from mama. Bara promise." said Bara. He had truly regretted his recklessness that dared to hide important things from his mother.

"Bara.you're an adult. Mama is not angry. It's natural for you to start making your own decisions. Mama was just disappointed." said Anggi softly. "It's not that you're hiding your marriage, but you're disappointed to lose your chance to propose to your future daughter-in-law." Anggi shuffled Bara's hair. Banyu and Ustadz Hida breathed a sigh of relief.

"Mama.. Where did mom go?" tanya Bara let go of her embrace.

"Oh.mama prepares a gift for your daughter-in-law. Come with mama!" Anggi pulled Bara towards the middle room.

Bara widened his eyes to see so many parcels that Anggi prepared.

"Ma.this? So much." exclaimed Bara.

"If you knew, on your wedding day, you'd send more of this. Yasmine deserves it. Thank you for giving mama a dream wait mama" said Anggi with a smile.

"Ma, Bara has a proposal. Mama just give this directly to Yasmine later when she comes home as a surprise. Actually, she was very worried that she would be angry if she knew we were married without her knowledge. He would be very happy if he knew that mom would bless us."

"So good too. So all this mama keep here?"

Bara nodded, "Waiting for your daughter-in-law to come."

"Did mama just see him there? Mama really wants to go to the country that was once Umm ad Dunya" said Anggi.

Bara's eyes sparkled happily. "Yes ma. Ise mama is very nice."

"But I can't. Your sister is too small to travel far" Anggi said in a disappointed tone.

"Give it to papa if it's a sister's business. Papa would've been able to set it up."

"And it was my mother who made us late to leave." Bara replied.

"Yes.sana!" expel Anggi. Bara hugged Anggi and left her mother

Step into the living room. The three of them paid their farewells to return to the pesantren. This time it was the driver.

"We're going straight to the Ustadz boarding school?" ask Bara.

Ustadz Huda glanced at Banyu. Last night they agreed to go to the hospital before returning to the boarding house.

"We go to the hospital first" said Ustadz Huda.

"Hospital? Which hospital?" ask Bara.

"Aunty Amel's hospital." replied Banyu.

Bara nodded and turned his car towards the hospital. He didn't have to ask them what they were going to the hospital for, because he knew. There's Camelia over there. It must be that these two people with him want to see Camelia.

It didn't take long to get to Amel's hospital. After parking the car, they immediately stepped into the hospital.

Banyu who already knew where the room where the young doctor was, went straight there.

"Dark!!!" banyu's steps came to a halt as someone called out to him. Bara, Banyu and Ustad Huda turned their heads towards the source of the sound. Vienna waved with a smile towards them. Ustadz Huda glimpsed the beautiful woman who succeeded in stealing his heart. He felt his heart pounding as he watched Vienna walk up to them.
